Ten Square Hotel

We only spent one night in Belfast as we were travelling in a small friends group from Dublin. Our male receptionist made our stay very memorable by recommending a taxi tour to us and provided us with information and advice about the city even above that. Moreover, he was even kind enough to say goodbye to us in person (even though he was busy) and ask about our tour, so we felt extremely welcome and taken care of! Definitely enjoyed our stay a lot! 😊

Very well located, tidy room and good amenities.

Room was quite small for the price

location, lovely decor, rooms clean, beds comfy, really nice bedroom decor including the plush headboards, beautiful mirrors bathroom nice and clean and spacious

waterfall shower without an option of a hand held shower head so thought shower caps would have been provided also we ate in Josters for dinner and I had finished my meal so the waiter lifted my plate, my friend was literally holding her burger eating it with fries and a small bowl of coleslaw on her plate, and he lifted hers too!!! No conversation at all and no discussion if we were both finished!

Perfectly placed right in the centre of Belfast City behind City Hall (Town Hall). Staff are polite and are always happy to help. We only ate once in the bar for an evening meal and the food was to a good standard. Rooms were clean, although we did notice a couple spots that were thick with dust that had been missed in the room, in particular the sensors in the bathroom.

We were in one of the rooms over looking the restaurant next door (Coco) and yes it’s a city centre hotel but you had deliveries being dropped of at 5:30/6am, bottle bin collections at 6:00 and even with the patio doors shut - it was your alarm clock. If we visit again I’d either upgrade the room or request not to have one to those rooms.

The location is perfect for walking around downtown Belfast. It is located right next to city hall. We easily walked to the Titanic Museum and the various touristy neighborhoods, bar and restaurants. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very helpful! We were able to take a bus from the train station and the stop was very convenient. We were also able to catch a bus right to the airport very easily as well as connect with our day trips nearby. The room was nice and had a spacious shower. The bed and linens were very comfy to. We would recommend The Ten Square.

The Hotel is centrally located in Belfast, plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is modern and clean! The breakfast is both a sit-down and a buffet and was very good. The drop off is on the East side road (Linenhall St.) which is a 1-way street can be tricky. The trip to the North coast was only a 1.2 hour drive, easy to see all the beautiful attractions.

Despite asking 3 times about the partial reimbursement of the parking garage (that they recommended), they did not give me the credit. The garage is quite far about a 1/2 mile away. I unfortunately used the car a few times (during the stay) and while finally leaving the hotel, I picked up the car without showing the staff the parking garage ticket (despite giving them all the garage receipts) but this was not acceptable and they did not honor the partial reimbursement. Please be careful and make sure you inquire about this.

Stayed at the Ten Square Hotel with my grand daughter as a birthday treat. As soon as we walked into the hotel we were greeted with pleasant, friendly staff. Would like to take this opportunity to say a special thank you to Leah who was on reception and checked us in, she is most definitely a credit to this hotel, her personality, helpfulness and general friendliness proved that front of house is where she definitely should be. Our room was 318 and it was without doubt one of the largest, cleanest rooms Ive stayed in in Belfast and Ive stayed at numerous hotels in the city. It had everything and more! The beds are like sleeping on a cloud, so comfortable. I will most definitely return and have no hesitation in recommending to friends and family.

If i had to state one thing that let down my stay at this hotel was the cooked breakfast, i found it to be luke warm and the soda and potato bread to be very dry. May be this was purely because we had booked in for one of the last time slots so wouldn’t let it put me off there being a next time. Coffee was 👍, staff friendly and accomodating.

The staff were extremely helpful, efficient and lovely to deal with. I had requested an early check in and our room was ready on arrival. The Coffee machine at breakfast was absolutely fantastic with gorgeous Coffee. The room was so well equipped with toiletries, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and tea and coffee they even had hot chocolate. Very centrally located hotel, so close to shops, bars and restaurants and a 10 minute walk from the train station. Would definitely love to stay here again. The only tiny suggestion is I would have liked a little yoghurt and fruit in the breakfast buffet

Being in the centre of the city. Most places where within walking distance. The breakfast and dinner in the restaurant where of good quality and not overpriced. Staff where really nice everywhere and we would easily stay again.

Although staff where pleasant and really nice throughout the hotel and they couldn’t be faulted, our check in was not a great experience. There where no pleasantry’s when checking in only what’s your name and how many nights, no direction to room or info on booking breakfast or restaurant we felt we where putting him out by checking in, he obviously had something better to do. ( not the official receptionist, think he was standing in) not a good first impression for a lovely hotel.

The bedroom was a good size, carpeted and with openable widows. The air conditioning was effective. Free WI FI, a safe and iron/ironing board were all available. The bed was comfy and the towels a good size. We had pancakes and maple syrup for breakfast which were good one day and a bit dry when supplied the next day. Many guests had eggs, bacon etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is across the road from City Hall where many tours commence - including the free walking tours. The hotel is just a short walk to the retail shopping/sightseeing/dining areas.

The lighting in the bathroom was inadequate for putting makeup on. The fresh fruit at breakfast was a little tasteless. There was a limited cereal supply - no muesli, seeds, nuts or dried fruit. The car parking was 4 blocks away and expensive -approx 26 pounds for less than 48 hours- even with the discount applied from the hotel.
