This hotel is a absolute gem to find in Belfast City. It is in a lovely building in one of the best possible locations for sightseeing with the City Hall only a 10-12 minutes walk from the hotel. The rooms are very large, clean and comfortable. The staff were absolutely brilliant, so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the bar and the hotel was excellent with a great vibe with the live music and entertainment. We were on the 2nd floor and didn't have any problem with noise. There are loads of restaurants nearby, with the Thai Village being one of the best. Best hotel in Belfast for location, service and comfort at a reasonable price.

There was nothing to dislike about this hotel.

Staff very polite and helpful. Really make you feel welcomed. Room very spacious and comfortable. Was lovely getting a bottle of water each when we arrived. Bar facilities and entertainment is fantastic. One of the best i have stayed at. Dinner was lovely and staff very attentive. Breakfast in our room was a great treat.

Having a mini fridge in room might be a great added extra. Having more written info in the rooms about services/menus and pricing/opening times etc as we found it difficult to find this stuff quickly. Breakfast in our room the first morning was great but my breakfast on the 2nd morning had undercooked poached eggs.

Location, staff friendliness. Room made up nicely each day. Bed comfortable. Live music loud but not too obtrusive. Lovely historic building with plenty of period features. I didn't have breakfast but could opt in for £9 which seems like it would be reasonable.

Wifi a pain to get on and dropped quite a lot - difficult when travelling for work. Floor of bathroom quite stained. Room very hot - ended up sleeping with windows open as much as possible all night. Staff quite loud when shutting up bar at midnight - didn't bother me but a family would have had children woken by the noise of breaking glass and crashing.

We had a quick Uber transfer from City airport and a wonderful welcome at reception after a horrendous flight. The following morning they could recommend places in the city to visit and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is anything but a run-of-the-mill chain with their corporate reception and rooms. It's a unique building with a bar and restaurant decked out with what appears to be reclaimed church windows, wooden screens and staircases. There's even a pulpit that now houses the DJ! The bar can be lively as it's close to the University and has live music most nights. Both the bar and restaurant staff were attentive and helpful. It's within walking distance of the city centre and main attractions and you don't have to walk far to find some great places to eat if you decide not to dine in their restaurant. We upgraded our room which was spacious, well furnished and had everything we needed.

Our used towels were removed on the first day and not replaced. A 'phone call to reception and within a few minutes a breathless and apologetic receptionist was at our door with replacements. No big deal and another point in their favour that they corrected the mistake very quickly. Be warned that the hotel is opposite one of the livelier night spots in town with music until the early hours. (Our Uber driver did warn us). You know what to expect when you open the bedside drawer and packs or earplugs are provided. (My wife used them but it didn't bother me). Easy solution, stay in the club until it finishes :^)

Absolutely beautiful hotel which I felt was a bargain for the price, it was far above what I expected for what I paid. The staff were extremely friendly and let me check in early when my room was ready which I really appreciated as I only had 1 day there and 4pm check in is crazy late. My room was lovely and impeccably clean, very classy decor and had tea & biscuit facilities. I didn't have breakfast there as there's a Greggs around the corner (lol) but I did eat in the restaurant in the afternoon which was brilliant with a great live band on as well.

There was a very loud disco going on until quite late which I could hear from my room. Can't really complain though because it was very fun whilst I was down there myself in the evening haha I think 4pm check in time is crazy, that's most of the day gone before you can freshen up after travel etc

hotel room was fabulous, very clean and tidy and done to perfection, the fan was a great help in the warm weather. would suggest putting an iron in them rooms

we are in the restaurant and the staff only in the restaurant were not helpful or pleasant at all, we were unsure if we just sat down or waited to be seated and when asking a member of staff they ignored us and walked on so we then went up to another member of staff and asked at the bar, the food wasn’t that nice and was expensive. reception staff were more than nice and very helpful booking us a taxi. would definitely stay again. hoping to see a change in restaurant staff

We arrived very early due to our flight. As we entered the hotel there had been a pipe burst nearby and the hotel had no water unfortunately. The receptionist explained that our hope for early check in may be later due to the cleaning unable to be carried out. It was no bother as we had a walk around the area and went for breakfast. On our return we were welcomed to relax in the reception area to charge our phones and relax. The receptionist did a fantastic job of keeping us updated and managed to get us a early check in. Would stay again.

1 night stay at Benedicts - check in went well staff friendly and efficient - room adequate size and very clean with a very comfortable bed We had booked the restaurant and food was lovely and again staff very quick to attend and happy to help

very noisy room - we were in room 216 at back of hotel and had a constant droning noise day and night from something at back of hotel not sure what it was but it was loud! Avoid this side of hotel if you can! Perhaps it is a boiler or something but take some ear plugs you will need them, can't really fault anything except the annoying droning noise - we were only there for 1 night so it didn't really matter but it would get tiring if there for much longer

We booked here on recommendation from another friend, beautiful old style interior, very clean, the bed had lovely fresh linon sheets, slept really well, when we went into the room there was a kettle, two cups and biscuits, milk, sugar etc, bottled water and glasses. The only thing we had a complaint about was it was £9 for breakfast regardless off what you had, and the waiter came and requested payment before I even ordered. But all in all I would recommend it.

Payment request before I ordered my breakfast, but I had mentioned it to someone.
