Gregory by the Warren Collection

Beautiful homely hotel in a lovely leafy street within walking distance of the shopping/restaurants and cafes of the Lisburn road and within walking distance of Belfast City Centre. Rooms were really spacious including spacious ensuite and the super king was exceptionally comfortable. Considering quite central area, the room was a haven of tranquility and quiet. Staff were really friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. Loved the option of the luggage room that had irons and additional teas/coffees/milks/shampoos etc that you could help yourself to and the late night self-serve door access! Off street parking also available.

The room was very small. I did manage with difficulty as I have limited mobility, will know to ask for the other downstairs room should I stay in the future. It is such a pity that there is no bar or breakfast available. Parking is generally available on site, however, it seems a waste of a parking space with the hotels own pod permanently parked there-perhaps one of the sheds/garage could be removed to allow better access as we had a larger hire vehicle that we expected and it is very tight to leave the back of the property. We saw few changes to the property since it became part of the Warren Collection save for the door entry and key system.(we stayed here approx 2 years ago)

Large, comfortable, clean room (some stains on the carpet but that's it). The staff were lovely. The radiators were on in the room when we got there so it was very warm.

Google maps can't seem to find this place and sent us to a parking lot on the parallel street behind the building (not their fault, just a warning). There is very limited parking. Street parking and just a few spots behind the building. The person at the desk was nice enough to move her own car when we arrived so we could park. Lastly, whoever was above us was thumping around and being loud until after midnight. You can hear people walking,floorboards creaking, doors closing...etc anyway but these people were especially loud.

The house is beautiful, especially the comon area

I decided to give an average rating even tough the experience started badly, but issues was resolved in the end. Let's put it like this. Their version was that they put me in a double room that nobody ever complained about, with a skylight and a sudden, unknown heating problem. My version is that they put me in a broom closet in the attic(i measured, it was 5x8 clothes hanger lengths) with a hatch smaller than a Ryanair window and no heating. As i arrived after reception closing time, they put me in a regular double room first thing next morning, which although cleaned in a hurry was in excelent condition

Drove up from the South, easy to find after coming off the motorway. Free parking at the back of the property. Very warm and cosy in the hotel. Bed so comfortable. Had a lovely room looking out to the front garden. Good location for us about 25 min walk to the city centre away from the hustle and bustle

Breakfast is not included however there is a cafe down the street that they recommend and provide a voucher for The Mad hatter. The TV screen could have been a bit bigger for the size of the room. If I had I pick a negative. But besides that all was good.

Everything was good, the hotel is in a beautiful building, and the room is nice

1. Breakfast Voucher isn't a good deal The breakfast that the hotel is offering for 10 pounds (in a nearby cafe) is actually enormous, it's the largest option in that cafe and you don't actually get any discount with that voucher (or it ouldn't be 50 pence or something like that). The cafe has several cheaper options though (for 6-7 pounds) which you only find out later 2. There are incredibly beautiful dining rooms, with huge windows, facing a beautiful street. And you don't get any chance to use them, since the hotel doesn't offer breakfast. It is really sad once you see the rooms

Found it funny to see the room said 'Michelle's Room'. This was coincidental but funny for us. The property suited our needs but felt it was a bit expensive for what we got (room only). The room itself was quite basic - didn't have anywhere to place our clothes for example. But other than that, we had a pleasant stay. It was clean and comfortable and staff were very friendly. The area is lovely. Near Queen's University and the Botanical Gardens. Parking was a bit tight around the back but we managed it OK.

No breakfast included with the price - which felt was a little high for what we got.

Nice hotel location (only about 2 km from the city centre), quite a few options to eat out in the nearest neighbourhood. Free parking available for 7-8 cars at the rear of the building (on a "first to come / first to park" basis) Historical building with an interesting rustic athosphere :) Nice, clean, decent size room with a spacious bathroom. Comfortable bed. Kettle, cups, tea and coffee in the room. Flat tv. Great and helpful staff members :)

Personally I'm not a fan of thick carpets covering the entire floors everywhere

The place is amazing, the exterior, common areas, and also our room were decorated with so much taste. The room was very clean, big bed. The atmosphere was very nice. It is a short walk from University, and as we came to a conference that was very convenient to us. The staff ladies were all very nice and acommodating. They offer a rate for breakfast in a nearby cafe that is superb as well! Can only recommend!

James is an asset for the hotel. The reception was slick and charming. I have rarely seen a lobby (or common room or living room) so quaint and comfortable. I was really surprised to get such service and cleanliness for the price. I must mention that I was sharing the bathroom, but that was never an issue, I never had to wait, and it was so clean as to feel as if it were private. I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to recharge either on business or vacation.

I couldn't get WiFi in the lobby when I tried one time, and it was so early in the morning that there was no reception. Not really an issue as I had plenty of mobile reception in the lobby.
