Sherwood Hotel

Very central location. Just a short walk to the centre of town. A lot of places in central Blackpool charge for parking so having free parking at the B&B was a fabulous bonus. The hosts were very friendly and were more than happy to recommend places to go and where to eat. Room was small but comfortable and clean. The breakfast was wonderful!

Our room was very small which was a bit difficult to maneuver with our cases (we'd come from abroad) To be fair, it probably did say the size of the room when we booked it. I just didn't realise how cramped it would be with the furniture plus our cases. We still thoroughly enjoyed our stay

It's a small hotel with a friendly welcome. The rooms were very clean and they offered fresh towels every day which is something you don't always get. We only stayed B&B but the food was very good with a nice selection, which was very good for my fussy grandkids. This is an extremely friendly place to stay and I would definitely go again.

It is not very disabled friendly but it's only a small place but this didn't affect us on this trip. I have disabled relatives so I tend to notice stuff like that these days. Otherwise no complaints at all.

Lovely hotel, clean and tidy, everything you need, free parking right outside, close location to sea front and the tower, breakfast was very good , staff are very friendly and accommodating, Stevie made us feel welcome as soon as we got there, exceptional place to stay for the money, we will be returning again in November with the rest of the family, definitely recommended… we loved it …. 5star on a budget.

Breakfast put a whole new meaning into the word "Fast", the host just literally couldn't do enough for you, he was friendly and we literally came away knowing where we will always be staying in Blackpool. They have a TV games room with pool and a well stocked (and very cheap ) bar. Again the host kept on checking we were all ok in there and it seems people "want" to come down and talk (mainly because of him) . As I say breakfast in the morning was tasty and well stocked and the lady who looked after all the guests moved like the wind and made no sound. She was lovely as well. Parking was at the front of the property and they are quite flexible letting us stay there for the next day.

The TV in the room needs updating or the remote needs to be fixed but this is truly trivial and the one downstairs more than compensates for it

Everything about this place was nice, lovely Steve, very helpful and very friendly. My daughter and I stayed in room 5. A nice bright room with lots of cupboard space with hangers Comfortable beds with fresh linen. The bathroom is nice with a spacious easy to use shower plenty of fresh towels too The hotel is situated a short walk from all the attractions and easy to find your way back to. I've saved the best until last though. The breakfast.... it's delicious and plenty of it .

Not a criticism at all because I'm sure it can't be helped but the walls are very thin and we could hear every noise coming from the next room from chatting , snoring, breaking wind and other unmentionable noises. Don't let this put you off but maybe take ear plugs

Just returned from a great 2 night stay, here. Steve and his wife were great. Really friendly and welcoming. Steve parked our car round the back for us.Such a likeable couple. The room was small but clean, warm and comfy with a nice big bathroom with shower. Fresh, clean towels. Comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The lady helping, bringing the food out was so efficient and friendly. Some places in Blackpool a little lively, but that's Blackpool. Lovely hotel and not too far from attractions,parking a great asset.

From the minute we walked in to leaving, we were amazed at the wonderful welcome we had and lovely goodbye. Breakfast was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for the hosts, Steve & Lynn. Their staff member was so calm and welcoming at the breakfast table, a great addition. We shall definately be returning at some point this year. Thank you Joan & John

No complaints from me.... Room was so clean, comfortable beds and a good night's sleep.

This hotel was just what we needed. Perfect location as we could walk in and out of town as it was only a short distance. Staff here were so lovely and friendly! They gave us some great recommendations of shows which we thoroughly enjoyed. The breakfast was tasty with lots of choice. Steve met us as soon as we arrived and parked our car up which was a great help and then it wasn't needed for the rest of our stay as everything was nearby. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a great stay 😁

Steve and Lynn were so welcoming on arrival and throughout the stay, thanks guys. Room was clean and bathroom is big. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice. The cheese omelette was the biggest omelette I've seen, very tasty and a must try. Great location to central pier just a 5 minute walk. Parking is a great bonus also at the property with front and back spaces. Thank you both for making our stay amazing.

Fantastic hosts. They couldn't of been more helpful, very friendly and lots of advice given in regards to what to do and where to go in the local area. Absolutly fantastic breakfast!! Plenty of choice, loved the plentiful fresh fruit each morning, and the cooked breakfasts cooked to perfection, all with a friendly service. We would definetly go back and stay here again!

The bedroom was very small unfortunately, having to store our suitcases in the bathroom, however this was a minor issue as we didn't spend alot of time in the room anyway.
