The Montclair

We absolutely loved our stay at the Montclair, our hosts Sue and Chris couldn't have been more welcoming and so friendly, the room was absolutely spotless and smelt beautiful,the bed is incredibly comfortable and you could eat your dinner off the bathroom floor, it's immaculate, I work in hospitality myself and run a estate with holiday lets and I'm pretty ocd about things like taps and plugholes etc being cleaned properly and I had absolutely no issue with anything, the breakfast is out of this world, my partner said the sausages are really good quality and Sue feeds you like you're at your mums and can't do enough for you, we stayed 2 nights and the first morning at breakfast I had fried bread and beans as I'm not a fan of sausage etc, Sue asked if I was vegetarian and I said yeah mostly but absolutely not a problem as I was delighted with what I had, the next morning when we went down for brekkie she had 3 veggie sausages put aside for me, superb price too! excellent service and attention to guests is what makes a good hotel and Sue and Chris have it nailed, we were no more than a 5 min walk to the tower etc, I would highly recommend this fab hotel to anyone, huge thanks to Sue and Chris for the lovely warm welcome and if we're back in Blackpool we will definitely be heading to the lovely Montclair 😍

Absolutely nothing to dislike, the Montclair is perfect as it is

The free Wi-Fi was great! Easy check in and check out and great onsite parking, I didn’t have to worry about my car all weekend knowing it was safe. Location was spot on, 2 min walk from coral island / beach front and a 10 min tram to the pleasure beach. The hosts were 10/10, very easy to chat to and approachable, could text them if we needed anything and they were more than attentive. Bed and pillow was that comfy I had to ask where they’d gotten them from! Will 100% be returning to stay again!

Nothing!!

Last minute decision getaway, the Montclair was ideally located to town, great value for money and the hosts were customer focused and engaging. The hearty breakfast was plentiful with choices to cater for everyone. Will definitely use this hotel again 😊

Not a criticism but lots of stairs, that helped with burning off the beer from the night before haha....the rooms were really warm but value for money.

I booked 2 nights bed and breakfast it was the last room available and was a small double room. The room was compact and had a comfortable bed,Tv,kettle, hair drier Tea,coffee, hot choc, Biscuits etc. There is a walk in shower which had decent water pressure,plus clean hand and bath towels. The full english breakfast was buffet style and even had tinned tomatoes on the menu “a bonus for me” The hotel it is clean and very well kept! The owners Sue and Chris were lovely people, Sue could not do enough for us, even down to finding us a place to park as it was extremely busy this weekend. We had a great stay and will definitely visit again!

This is not an issue with Montclair more an issue with booking.com. I have walking issues so searched hotels with parking on booking.com. However as soon as the booking was made, booking.com sent an email stating the parking was not suitable for larger cars and was full when i tried to book a place. Booking.com need to add more clarity to their site especially regarding this issue to help disabled people. I contacted Montclair directly, Chris advised me theres on street parking for blue badge holders, it was extremely busy all weekend so finding parking was tricky and Blackpool is all one way systems, you can end up going around in circles while looking for somewhere to park. The guys at Montclair did their best to help us with an issue which was out of their control.Thanks

Everything was amazing! Sue and Chris were so friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much effort for them. The room was lovely and the breakfasts offered were fabulous! We have recommended to all our friends and will definitely be back!!

Having to come home!!

The hosts were amasing. Very welcoming. The bnb very top list of plases to stop in blackpool. Loverly guests too. And even took n brought our car bk from the parking space they have ( our little red hurby car ) carnt wait to book our hols back with them. When were bk in blackpool. Perfect location is the bnb. For the center n main front. We would give the bnb a five star n much more.

Great location, right near the Winter Gardens. Breakfast was lovely and the rooms were well kept and spacious

Couldn't find the WiFi code so didn't log on the whole stay, it wasn't written down anywhere in the halls etc but I'm sure if I asked the hosts they would have informed me so that's kind of my own fault!

Perfect location for attending my conference. Breakfast was yummy. Sue and Chris were great hosts and very helpful. Seeing that I had a Back problem, Chris kindly took my cases up to the room when I arrived and took them out to my taxi when I was leaving. I would definitely stay at The Montclaire again.

Friendly service Sue is such a lovely lady.. Thank you for the good service and the warm welcome she spotted us as we were still locating the hotel she smiled and was happy from the moment we met her till we said our goodbyes.. Thank you so much you made our stay in Blackpool worthwhile...

Great breakfast, nice clean room, comfy bed. Location perfect for all main attractions. The hosts Chris and Sue looked after us perfectly and were able to offer advice on places to go and see.

I thought we had great value for money and will certainly book again. Superb value for money.
