The Trafford Hotel

location is great. breakfast is lovely. rooms are tidy and clean

the rooms were extremely hot on a summer day. no air con. if u opened the window, all u heard was birds/seagulls all night. so didn’t sleep well this time round. maybe if it is going to be hot, invest in some fans for guests.

1 adult 2 children and 1 baby. 5 day Stay was great. Very clean and comfortable, friendly staff, great location close to all the attractions. Breakfast was lovely and wasn't a problem for catering for my gluten free daughter. Good size room although was a tight squeeze as the travel cot had to be up for the baby but we made it work.

Everything was great, the only thing i can find to say but is so silly is the room hairdryer wasn't the best as it wasn't too powerful and for myself and 2 daughters with thick hair it wasn't great but again this can be solved by bringing one along on the trip and problem solved.

We had a warm welcome from the start and great value for money including a very cheap bar which is definitely a bonus. Kids were welcomed and catered for. Pool table and even a space invaders machine. Everywhere was spotless. Breakfast was also lovely. Very traditional hotel which I liked.

A wardrobe would have been handy but there wasn't the space in the family room- to be fair they still provided a rail with hangers and lots of drawers so we had what we needed. Most hotels don't provide many hangers so the wardrobes don't end up being used.

Wonderful spotless clean room comfortable and hotel was throughout . Staff was extremely friendly and absolutely fantastic and welcoming. I dont know they do it. Worrying when you book places in blackpool at the last minute, but this place was exceptional. Sorted parking out for us and put us on the first floor so few steps . Breakfast was lovely. Stayed over Easter break and Easter Sunday creme egg on all breakfast tables. What a lovely touch, and it was great for the kids of the families staying there too. How thoughtful. Bar on site, too, was very reasonably priced. If travel to Blackpool again would definitely rebook . Ratings was good on booking site and can understand why as it totally exceeded our expectations. Don't normally do reviews, but to not do it would've been a massive injustice.

This hotel is well above average for Blackpool. The bed was good quality and extremely comfortable with good pillows (possibly more pillow than strictly necessary). The premium room had good additional space, the TV was good quality, WiFi was fast and constant. Breakfast was well organised. We paid a small extra charge for parking at the rear. Communication with the hotel was exemplary. Location near the Tower was ideal for us.

The room was warmer than necessary, though this would be a good thing in colder weather (we visited in May).

I was made very welcome and was delighted to know there was secure parking space. First impressions were that the hotel was spotless, and well run. I was delighted with my room, every convenience, modern and clean. A large breakfast was promptly served. It was possible to choose from a selection of favourite breakfast items. I felt very well fed. The coffee was excellent. I highly recomend The Trafford hotel. A big thank you to the staff.

Absolutely, no complaints, it is obvious the staff put their heart into the running of this great hotel.

We were in the family room which was ideal when you have children with you

Don't think 🤔 there was anything we didn't like .We did book because of four in the bed Just a couple of things I noticed windows were all fingermarked behind the 2 chairs obviously from the previous residents and behind the big set of drawers needed cleaning .,few cobwebs above main bed .This did NOT deter us from using this accommodation again .Thankyou so much for a great weekend. Also forgot to mention breakfast it was amazing you could order extra if needed .We missed our 🍄 lol 😂 Thankyou for contacting us immediately for leaving one of the family .We got to carpark which.is only 2mins away .We didn't do a head count when we left one was in the toilet 🥺🥺naughty adults .Thanks again for your lovely service .

The facilities, the room and the breakfast😋

The only thing to let it down was the parking situation... It says on website parking available from £3:50 per day, yet when I arrived I was abit upset at having to spend £17 (2 day visit) for parking because there isn't any parking facilities for Trafford... Even though it clearly says parking available from £3:50 per day!!

Excellent small hotel which went out of their way to ensure residents stay was perfect (dairy free milk and butter etc) showed that the they care for its customers needs and wishes. Nothing was too much trouble and they excelled in customer service. You could not ask for a better hotel for the price, within a short walk to the attractions, shops and restaurants. Thank you very much for such a memorable and wonderful stay.

Breakfast was being served between 8.30 and 9.15am which is a short window for the small number of guests staying there at this time. I understand that if the hotel was full in the busy period, they would stagger breakfast times but our stay was 2 weeks before the season had kicked in properly so breakfast times could have been extended.

Robbie and John were excellent working behind the scenes keeping everything moving efficiently didn't get the girls name at breakfast but she was on the ball and kept everyone happy It is 40 years since I stayed in a Blackpool hotel but if I go back it's the Trafford Hotel Charnley Road for us thanks guys for a great break and memorable visit
