Brilliant owner and staff - we had a great weekend

Comfortable Room and Bed with room for luggage and hanging jackets etc. Cute wee en-suite shower room. Easy stair. Martyn very helpful with luggage. Annabelle a lovely lady to chat to. They have a lovely well stocked bar with comfy seating area there. Scrumptious breakfast cooked by Michelle. Book direct with the Charnleygold not through Booking.com as you then know what you are getting for your money and not getting ripped off. Keep up the good work there. Lucky is a very friendly and welcoming dog too.

If I had booked direct with Annabelle I would have been much happier than booking with Booking.com as I was charged £17 more by Booking.com than what they advertised in their App.

Fantastic hosts fantastic bar staff couldn't do more for us ,the bar great atmosphere,rooms adequate clean comfortable shower really good temp,we enjoyed ourselves so much and the host Annabell and martin and the bar staff Marvin were so friendly we stayed another night! Which inc breakfast and was fabulous! They sorted parking for us and Gabe us tips on which pubs bars to go to! Def booking again ❤️

The location was brilliant - close to the main attractions such as the Tower, shops and Coral Island to name a few. The bed was comfortable so I slept well. I didn't use the bar but it was a bonus to have one there. The breakfast was great and the breakfast service was exceptional - a very slick operation. I chose Charnley Gold on location, reviews and price and it was excellent value for money.

My room was quite small and a bit tired in places but I settled into it okay. The shower temperature fluctuated sometimes but was generally fine. Noise levels ramped up a bit at the weekend. I think all of this was as expected for the age of the building and the price point. None of it spoiled my enjoyment of Blackpool. It's not a place to be sat in your hotel room.

staff were lovely and very attentive! the owners were always available and helpful. the room has anything you need, it’s cosy and comfy and we slept really well? the breakfast served was fantastic, but also has cereal, toast, fruit and breakfast bars for anyone that doesn’t want a cooked breakfast. the location was great, very close to the Blackpool tower but also far enough that you won’t be kept up by noise, it’s a 5 minute walk to the promenade, it’s around a 25/30 minute walk to the pleasure beach, we got a tram which cut the time down. we had a lovely stay and whenever we return to Blackpool we will be staying in this hotel again. couldn’t fault it.

Everything was perfect the hosts where outstanding very helpful and kind my 2nd stay there as the first was perfect the location is perfect within walking distance of most places in Blackpool would definitely recommend anyone to stay at the Charnley gold hotel you won’t regret it

Owners very helpful especially when My original booking got cancelled on the wed night by text . Then booked another one which it was awful ..could not stay my wife searched found this but didn't realise the check in times.. when she phoned the owners they were very helpful and really friendly and pleasant I was grateful to get this as it was bank holiday weekend all full Messaged booking .com about my cancelled hotel and they never even got back to my wife.. She was back home in Scotland stressing .. But the owners were great on phone to her..

The brightness coming through sky light

Everyone was kind friendly and welcoming. Check in was a breeze. The room was small but perfectly cromulent for two people. Perfect for a night's stay after a fun packed day. Great location as houndshill is practically down the road along with the tower. Closest tram stop is tower making it an easy find.

The property was clean and comfortable and we were made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived until the minute we left. All staff that we met were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The facilities are basic but rooms were clean and comfortable and more than adequate and value for money. Breakfast was lovely and ample choices to cater for anyone’s needs giving you a good start to the day. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable and we will be back to visit again.

There was nothing that I can say that we as a family didn’t like about the property.

Annabell and Martin were superb, breakfast was extremely good, all staff were very friendly and helpful and attentive, room was spot on, had no issues at all, thoroughly enjoyed my stay, actually booked again to go back at the beginning of August. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, would recommend to anyone.
