Friendly staff, nicely decorated bar, restaurant etc. Dog friendly, though they are not allowed in the restaurant. We ate in the small lounge area. Nice evening meal, though a prawn cocktail is far nicer if it is not deconstructed! Local Cheese on the menu would have been nice as we prefer it to a sweet dessert.

Only instant coffee offered with the in inclusive breakfast. We weren’t offered an option of proper coffee which we wouldn’t have objected paying extra for. Breakfast was good, but bacon and poached egg both over cooked and could have been warmer. Our room was a double which we knew when we booked, but would book a king if staying again. There was complimentary shampoo/shower products but there was no hand soap available in the bathroom.

Great staff, happy, smiling and always ready to help. The room was spacious with a lovely en suite with a powerful shower. We ate at the hotel and found the food to be varied and delicious with lots of choice and ample potions. There was a lovely buzz to the restaurant, which was full, and simultaneously a relaxing ambience . The whole atmosphere was chilled and soothing . The bar staff were really accommodating and there was a wide range of cocktails as well as other beverages.

There was nothing I didn’t like except perhaps having no hotel car park and having to use the public car park to the rear of the hotel. it was 24 hours and free so walking around the corner was no real hardship, although I would advise avoiding parking under the trees if possible to avoid the bird muck on your car.

Period property that has been modernised into a bar/restaurant and hotel. The bedroom we had overlooked the courtyard to the rear of the property and had a lovely view over the rooftops of the village of Brewood. The staff are warm and inviting and nothing was a bother. The bedroom was warm and cosy with a modern shower en-suite. Tastefully exposed brickwork and beams in the room we had. The only potentially negative thing I can think of is I don't think this hotel is accessible for people with mobility issues due to being a period property. Otherwise I really can't wait to visit again 😁👌

The location was lovely, a quaint little village. Free parking, either outside or a car park around the back. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The hotel decor in the bar and restaurant is so tasteful. The room was lovely, so comfortable and warm, larger than most rooms, nice toiletries. The food in the restaurant was amazing, great choices and reasonably priced, the best Ive tasted in a long while. A full English breakfast and other hot choices are available, which was cooked to perfection, this was included in the room rate, there is also cereals abd fruit juices on offer. The bar area has a good atmosphere, lovely furniture and a great choice of alcoholic drinks are available. This place is a little hidden gem, we will definitely return again. We would not hesitate in recommending this hotel.

Nothing.

The location was excellent and even though the car park was separate from the hotel, it was very convenient. The full Shropshire reakfast was excellent and we enjoyed our evening meal as well. The room was clean and very well presented. We had a good view right down the high street. There was a little noise at closing time but this soon finished. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The mattress on our bed was very soft and could do with an upgrade as we had to utilise the extra pillows to make it more comfortable

Service was exceptional. Food excellent. Room spotless and comfortable.

I've only experience of the room I stayed in, so this's likely to be a specific issue with that room. For those of us just a little taller than average (6'3"), it might be better to warn us of the low beam just inside the door! In fairness, you may have told me and I didn't hear. I only crowned myself once, so it wasn't an issue after that and it definitely didn't detract from my enjoyment of my stay.

Staff very friendly, breakfast was nicely prepared and tasted great, we dined in the restaurant the night before, choice of food was good and once again, tasted delicious. Location of the hotel is really good with a good choice of local walks

There really wasn’t anything not to like. If I had to dislike it would be the lack of on-site parking. The public car park was fine, free of charge, but with baggage, and a dog, onsite parking would have been better.

Pleasant room and liked the set up of the bar and eating facilities. Breakfast was very good. Hotel was very welcoming and comfortable.

We expected a slightly larger room for the price (£95) and the ensuite bathroom door did not close properly. On returning to the hotel (after attending a nearby wedding) at 11.30 pm we were unable to have one last alcoholic night cap in the bar. We were directed to the pub across the square where we caught last orders. Although on returning to the hotel (12ish) we did notice 2 individuals actually still drinking in the bar area. We felt perhaps the staff couldn't be bothered to serve us when we first inquired! It would have been nice to have had a nightcap in the hotel bar.

Staff were lovely despite an initial confusion over check in; we booked late and last minute so understandable but all was sorted incredibly easily. Breakfast was awesome and the rooms were super comfy - a perfect mid tour stop - thank you.

Housekeeping knocking on the door to see if we were still in our rooms at 10.30am when check out was at 11am - wasnt the nicest way to wake up from a post breakfast snooze but not the worst thing in the world!

Really nice place. Excellent courtyard for drinks, excellent bar / restaurant, great helpful staff. Good breakfast.

(under duress from wife and daughter - some slight discolouration of the bedroom carpet, due to people wandering out of the shower and dripping onto the light coloured cord carpet. Not a biggie - choose a darker shade of carpet next time round) Usual noisy kitchen area fans - more maintenance? (Though quiet and peaceful, there is quite a bit of bustle in the market place - eg tractors passing though make dropping off bags and passengers a bit tricky. There is a free car park just round the back - the car park of the Jubilee Hall across the street is handier for drop off / pick up than the double yellows at the front door)
