Bromsgrove Hotel and Spa

The location was very good. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.

Tea and coffee making facilities weren't good - didn't like the disposable cups. Wasn't aware when booking that car parking was extra nor that the swimming pool had to be paid for per visit.

Booked in for 1 night with my sister as I had an operation the following morning so can't comment on breakfast as I was nbm however the hotel itself was beautiful. A very high standard, staff were very polite and professional, check in was smooth however I wanted to pay with cash but they only accept card but this was no problem. The twin room had 2 double bed and they were actually doubles....not 2 singles pushed together lol, very comfy beds.

Bathroom didnt match the room regarding size but it definitely done the job so not a real issue. Corridor was quite noisy at night and could hear the neighbouring rooms tv but still managed to get to sleep.

Hotel loverly, nice decour. breakfast adequate and good value. Clean, well equipped and comfortable room. Shower products provided where loverly ample tea/coffee. gym well equipped. pool n jacuzzi great, staff helpful. Price reasonable

Staff was a little rude on arrival, I suggest they not comment on learning disabilities behaviour as being intoxicated. Then to be told to take them away. Was disappointed that had to pay for WiFi in room when other hotels offer this as standard. Also carparking a £5 charge is a bit much when parking is not garenteed Unsupervised foreign speaking young children hanging on doors running around the hotel lobby and hallways, also riding on car park with bikes I was concerned that a car could hit one of them again unsupervised, they where also very noisy at breakfast. There was a lot of noise from the room above us, which sounded like a constant dropping things or jumping off beds.

The room was larger in size than we were expecting. We had a double bed each when we were expecting a single size bed each so nice surprise! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful; particularly in dining room when accommodating specific dietary requirements. Spa and swimming pool were clean. Great facilities available. The hotel is in a central location in the UK and easily accessible off the motorway.

The bar closed at 10:30pm. We expected it to remain open until at least 11pm to reflect standard closing times. Just missed out on a drink as arrived at 10:35pm!

Lovely hotel. Clear check in/check out with no issues. Friendly staff. Security on and visible. £5 charge for the car park. Good facilities inc comfortable lobby and bar area. Gym and pool facilities for a fee. Therapist there but only works set days unfortunately

Ahead of my arrival I emailed to request a price list and schedule for the fitness and spa facilities, unfortunately I did not receive anything. I naturally assumed a spa offered treatment facilities but it is a one person who uses the room on set days so I was unable to have any treatments during my stay. Only free wifi was in the reception area. Chargeable car park

I am still staying at the hotel for another week. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

As I am staying a bit longer than normal, I do find the rooms a little lacking with small things. I do realise that covid has had an impact on all services, but "little things" do make a big difference. Bathmats when getting out the shower, hooks to hang wet coats on, glasses in the rooms.....just suggestions. Also not having wifi in the room or having to pay extra for it was an issue for me, but only because I was here long term. If it was for a weekend it would not have bothered me.

WiFi is chargeable! Shocking! Although there are LARGE SIGNS in the corridor re Quiet Time 10pm til 7am, the most inconsiderate rude people in ROOM 248 played MUSIC ALL NIGHT and it was still ongoing even after security told them to turn it off at 2am 😡 X also from this same room emanated an overwhelming smell of WEED !!! So basically not much sleep was had 😟. I really do feel that the hotel should be able to "evict" guests such as these.

Everything was there that we needed, comfortable, relaxed and friendly. The food in the restaurant in the evening was outstanding, top quality and reasonable and the staff serving us were very professional and friendly made our dinner experience one of the best we'd had . The room was comfortable, spacious and clean, they thought of everything to make our stay comfortable, even bottles of water, it was our second time here and won't hesitate to stay again

We'd paid for breakfast, nothing against sharing it with families that are obviously living at the hotel, probably homeless, it's just their manners we're appalling, children's hands in all the bread, filling their pockets with almost everything, the breakfast area was a mess and put us off eating, we most certainly couldn't touch the bread that had been handled and prodded, the parents were doing the same and how are children going to know any better. It was the worse breakfast we have had in any hotel

If the property was as good as the staff, this would be the Ritz.

Disabled room had a shower over the bath, which is ridiculous. I'm walking disabled and bad enough for me to get in the bath, how the hell would someone in a wheelchair get in the shower. Apparently the staff have to send a wheelchair disabled, to the leisure club, part of the hotel, to have a shower. How embarrassing for the disabled person. Anything more than walking disabled, don't stay here.

The staff and the room was as expected as I've stayed before, food was excellent too and for the first time ever I could park in a disabled bay.

No hotel / area book in room with times, info about area, reception no. for the phone and no cushions on sofa, all of which I'd have expected after working in hotel management for 15 Yrs! Also an Asian family were running around shouting and screaming where I was seated eating and very minimal effort made to shut them up by staff, the bar tender was fantastic and helpful but should have shut the noisy family in a cupboard.....a soundproofed one!
