Crown, Droitwich by Marston's Inns

It was a comfortable pub with en suite rooms. My room and bathroom were perfect for my needs.. not posh but clean, spacious and functional. The staff were lovely and always helpful. The bar and eating areas were comfortable and quiet.. it was mid week. My friends had a few niggles with their rooms but they were dealt with promptly. Lots of parking.

We only ate breakfast there. The full breakfasts were excellent and they had vegetarian options and accomodated gluten free. .service was a bit slow, considering it was very quiet.. they were accommodating and friendly at all times. We had a bit of trouble finding it. Not pub related.. but taxis are very expensive in the area!

Location for us very nearby event, nice traditional building, restaurant serving nice evening meals, employees very friendly (despite that the working hours must be very long, keep very friendly, compliment for the chef !!!)

We tried to book a family room but since our son is 20 this was not allowed (via booking.com). In our room was a perfect third bed which could have been used without a problem. Now we had to book a second room which makes it quit expensive. Breakfast could have been a bit more luxury.

Booked here to visit family; a friendly welcome on arrival; room was lovely & clean, had evening meal which was really tasty, my partner had dessert again well presented & yummy, then went into beer garden which had lots of tables, great outdoor space!! Then a great nights sleep , bed really comfy!!

Nothing, but perhaps for the price payed could have included continental breakfast!!

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The location was ideal for a nearby wedding at which we were guests and the staff kindly allowed us to check in early, rather than have to return in the afternoon.

We were not told when checking in that the blinds for the roof window above the bed in our room had fallen off days before and were yet to be replaced. This meant there was no way to prevent daylight entering the room in the early morning.

From checking in the service was fantastic, the staff very welcoming, efficient and professional . The room was great clean and very comfortable it had bath and shower. Linda reserved us a table for dinner, the food was lovely and very reasonably priced. All the staff were all so helpful especially Linda. A great stay and will be back. Excellent location for breaking the journey on the M5. Thank you for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Staff were fabulous, so friendly. Food and ambiance of social area, very comfortable and friendly. Was amazed at the quality of The Crown. The room was big and airy, with windows that opened. Despite being on a main road, we heard nothing. The hotel was quiet, no disturbances through the night. Couldn’t believe the quality of the place for what we paid. Brilliant.

One little drawback was the shower cubicle. High step in, with minimal space, a large person would struggle! It also sloped which made me feel I was on a wobble! Otherwise, it was hot, powerful enough to call it a decent shower.

A great location. Welcomed back by friendly staff who remembered me from previous visits! Convenient location for the motorway and biking along the nearby canal. Close to Droitwich for the theatre.

Heating was very hot when I arrived so I turned it down... Then it was too cold when I was trying to dry my wet clothes on the radiator. Then again, staff don't have much control over how the last guests have left the heating!

All the Staff are extremely helpful and pleasant to talk too. The easy access room was spacious and clean with a wet room complete with chair (well done disabled people sometimes need to sit down). The gardens are pleasant with a really good adventure playground and safely spaced tables. Meals a good choice for breakfast and the evening meals also a good pub menu with good large servings perfectly cooked and presented. A good value for money experience and would recommend it to anyone.

Breakfast was lovely & good value for money. Rooms very comfortable & clean. The main thing that stood out were the staff so helpful, very polite & friendly. Gardens were lovely & we were very lucky with the weather to be able to use them.

Only thing that needs improvement is staff levels as 2 sick on the Fridat night so problems in the restaurant. Orders could not be meet & customers were very unhappy with waiting, food cold that came out! We were late & our orders were fine but the chef should have taking control & stopped orders when problems started!

Staff - all very friendly, efficient and enthusiastic. Location v good just off M5 where we needed to be. Plenty of car parking.

Booked restaurant for 8.30 because we were travelling a long way and this was our ETA. Got a call from Crown around 6 asking if we could arrive earlier. As it was …we made good time and ended up sitting down around 8.15 …but if you take a booking for 8.30 ….. you should be ready to stick to that.
