Holiday Inn Express Burnley M65 Jct 10, an IHG Hotel

The staff were excellent. The location and parking was good. Good to be able to have our evening meal at the hotel too after a busy day. Great that they can supply those little things you might have forgotten

The cleanliness of our room was not good. The toilet was not clean and the kettle had tomato ketchup on it and was grubby. We did not see these things until the evening as we arrived later in the day so did not mention until the morning. Kirsten was very good. We were hoping to use this hotel when visiting family in Burnley. I hope things improve as our first impressions were not good. We were hoping to stay again very soon. We will have to think about this as the cleanliness was quite off putting.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. We were attending a wedding at nearby Crow Wood. Staff allowed us to leave the car on their car park from 11:30 am and phoned for a taxi (at no charge) to take us to the venue. We feared we might be late checking in after the wedding. I phoned reception and they reassured us that it was okay and our room would be waiting once we arrived. Clean, comfortable room with air con, ironing board/iron, tea and coffee making facilities. Great value for money. Very satisfied .

Breakfast was somewhat limited but perfectly adequate and dining area very pleasant.

The staff were amazing .Reception team were friendly inviting and professional .All three we came into contact with were kind and enquiring about why we were there, how far we had travelled and did we have a good time ? The location was good, the entrance with the bar was inviting and the room was ideal for what we needed. I also thought the lay out of the bathroom although small was very clever with the toilet tucked away and Not in front of a mirror like so many hotels ! Breakfast was great and a bonus ,the breakfast team were very helpful and accommodating .

There was nothing I didn't like .

We were given a quiet room overlooking the car park. The room was spacious & clean & had everything you would need (apart from biscuits 🤣) with a comfy bed. Good shower room design. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast. The hotel is situated on the canal but is quite isolated.

The room we were given first was overlooking the busy motorway & hence very noisy with traffic. It also had an adjoining door to the next room which we don't like. Food is hit & miss but we did have a very good pizza one night.

The room and bathroom were both modern and very clean. The breakfast buffet selection was good. The staff were friendly and eager to help and the hotel was situated just off the motorway, providing easy access to all routes.

Very fortunate to arrive just 5 minutes before the bar closed at 11pm. No chance of being served a drink any later and didn't notice a mini bar in the room. Not an absolute necessity, but nice to have a beer if arriving late.

Helpful staff. Breakfast included. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Not too much noise from other guests

Air conditioning was extremely loud. Sometimes made an extremely loud high pitched sound. Very unpleasant.

Thankfully that was the only downside to our stay. Very clean, comfortable and spacious room which was well laid out. Lovely breakfast with very helpful staff (my wife is gluten free and they offered a selection of alternatives to the standard fayre). Very well located within a 5min taxi ride from the train station and by the motorway.

Arrived and was greeted by a member of staff who had clearly had a long, hard day (or this is just her usual manner!!) Miserable, rude, abrupt, unhelpful are the family version of the words I can use to describe her.

Location suited purpose of our visit. We have stayed there before and it is consistently great. The staff are just so accomadating and friendly morning and night. We stayed a week so we got to see just how hard the staff work and they seem happy. Lovely atmosphere at all times. Always look forward to our stay there.

I can honestly say that we have no negatives

I was biking the Leeds Liverpool canal trail so when I got to the hotel my needs were check in quick and have a shower. All were taken care of by very friendly staff and a lovely room. The staff also allowed my to store my bike in the luggage store overnight for security. The room was great and so was breakfast. All was very well organised and managed. Thanks.

The ac in the room didn't function well, but that was a minor distraction.

Very clean and tidy hotel with a huge car park. I found this hotel excellent value for money. Check-in was relatively easy. Really pleased with the breakfast option in the morning and the free WiFi.

I had requested an extra duvet for one of my children - then when I arrived I asked the receptionist again. After an hour this still hadn't arrived so I asked another worker from behind the reception, and he eventually delivered this to the wrong room but I was lucky enough to locate it.
