Hampton By Hilton Blackburn

Our stay was exceptional, this 3 star hotel exceeded our expectations. The facilities are modern and up to date, including usb ports around the room in all corners for charging your gadgets, a climate control system that works how you want it to. I was not expecting a very large TV but is a nice bonus as well. Outside there are several bays for charging an electric car, and nearby some places to eat. What a lovely place to stay and have peaceful rest. Genuinely had a pleasant experience and would highly recommend this hotel. Would be happy to come back again.

The rooms are spacious and the fridge is nice. It also smelt really good! Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious 😋 with a lot of hot and cold options. Parking was easy to do via self service machine. Hot drinks and kettle was ok in the room. Nice views from both room and restaurant. Its good for a couple of days stay the air con was easy to use. The TV was okay the usual standard channels.

There wasn't much restaurant options for evening dinners so have to have takeout next door or sort elsewhere. The pillows seem really comfy but are quite flat when you do sleep on them. Doors can get quite noisy from other members can't be helped. The safe didn't open and unable to open there were lack of instructions but didn't want to ask further.

Modern spacious rooms, lovely clean modern bathroom, most comfortable bed and pillows ever!!! Air con works beautifully in the rooms which was a welcome facility during a heatwave! Friendly and accommodating staff, great bar area, varied and large selection on the breakfast buffet - breakfast was actually exceptional - batter and waffle maker, variety of delicious bloomer breads for toast, full cooked breakfast options and cereal muesli bar etc with juices and coffee machine. Stayed at this hotel multiple times and will definitely be returning

The staff were really lovely. Breakfast was great. Room was very comfortable and I loved the Smeg fridge in our room. Very handy.

When we arrived they didn't have our booking that we booked through booking.com. Not sure if that was an issue with Hilton or Booking.com. Thankfully they had a room and the staff were great. Also, no restaurant for lunch or dinner and not many options close by. We went to a pub for carvery dinner which was fine but would have loved to have dinner at hotel. They DO offer some quick food. I think pizzas.

I arrived late at night and left early in the morning so had very little time to appreciate the room and stay. The room was clean and the staff check me in promptly so I could get a decent night's sleep. Breakfast was pretty good.

Arriving late after a 3 hour drive meant arrived hungry and thirsty. Given the price of the accommodation a complementary bottle of water and a biscuit in the room would have been appreciated, but was sadly lacking.

This hotel was spotlessly clean in all areas. The decor and furnishings were lovely. The whole place was modern, bright and fresh looking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in and out were both quick. Plenty of choice for breakfast (6am to 10am) including a waffle making machine, cereals, fruit, yoghurts, toast machine with a range of spreads, hot food - bacon/sausage/eggs/beans/mushrooms, hot drinks and juices. Plenty of seating nicely spaced out. The car park was huge so plenty of spaces to spread out (they do get coach parties but none while we were there). We had a twin room which was compact but had everything we needed - tv, coat hooks, mirror, bedside table, fridge and kettle. Check out was at 12 so plenty of time. We were really impressed with the whole experience of staying here for one night while we visited St George's Hall.

Nothing to comment on. All positive. We would have liked to use the gym but time did not allow.

Would definitely recommend and book this hotel again. Customer service was good. Staff are helpful. Location was easy to find and not far from the town centre. There was no water bottles in the room. But there is a service area walking distance where you can buy some groceries.

The hotel was really lovely, it had that holiday atmosphere. The lounge and bar were really chilled and so you could relax with a drink. Our room was on the fourth floor and it was fabulous with a huge flat screen TV and a massive bed. A bonus to the room was definitely the TV and the SMEG fridge. Lovely complimentary drinks tray, a safe, an iron and a hairdryer.

The evening menu was very, very poor. It was severely lacking with just three choices for a meal. It was a massive disappointment but the positives of the rest of the hotel has kept the star rating so high. There wasn’t any biscuits on the complimentary tea and coffee tray. The pizza we ordered from the extreme limited menu was burnt. Bar price were a little on the expensive side.

Comfortable and nicely decorated room. Always plenty of parking and the staff are great! Comfy bed too.

We stayed here twice within a week due to travelling up and down the country and both times around 9am housekeeping were knocking on the door and trying to come in (even with the do not disturb on the door). Almost felt like we were being rushed to check out early.

Lovely hotel. Big and spacious, very clean and lovely decor. Breakfast was perfect. Great location, only £4.50 for a taxi into Blackburn town centre. We will definitely stay here again.

We had asked for a 1pm to 2pm check in and it was approved. However when we arrived at 2.15pm we were told no check in until 3pm. They did get us in after about 20 minutes. Also when we checked out there were no staff around and we had to wait 5 minutes. I would have given full marks otherwise. We will definitely stay again, lovely hotel. Thanks
