Beautiful location. Friendly staff.

We shouldn't have to strip the bed now. Staff can wear masks and gloves if necessary.

Breakfast was the stand out. Everything was made to order and delicious, filling you up for the day. The location is beautiful, peaceful and remote. The beds were comfortable and the property is really lovely. The hosts are a delight, you feel like you're staying at a relatives place with a nice homely feel.

couple of cobwebs and spiders under the bathroom sink and down the side of the dresser. But It was summer time. When the place is fully occupied it is rather loud, you can hear doors banging, people walking around downstairs and outside on the driveway.

We loved the look of the property online but nothing prepared us for what greeted us- the property and location are stunning. The setting is no less than perfect, close enough to restaurants and a variety of places to visit but far enough away for you to feel remote enough to really relax. Both Meg and Jaap are wonderful, so friendly and nothing is too much trouble - they go above and beyond and really are the perfect hosts. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and the breakfasts delicious. We’re already looking forward to returning in the future. Thank you for such a wonderful trip!

Nothing! Everything was fab!!

The location wasn’t too far from cardigan and easy to navigate the country road. Breakfast was catered for all tastes and was lovely. The exception was no alternative cereal choice, but nothing was too much trouble for Meg. Everything was laid out exceptionally nice on the table. The sunset from the bedroom window with a sea view was very therapeutic.

Wasn’t any food available on arrival, even a sandwich would have been nice after a very long journey. No takeaway food delivered in the area either. The Tapas hamper was available to order but found it too expensive.

Two really nice and friendly young people made their dream come true. And it became their daily work - how cool is that? Renovating an old house which has been B&B before in highly skilled craftsmanship and adding two beautiful huts in the garden. Making the place beautiful since 8 years now. It's so lovely that I hesitated a bit to give away informations about such a special spot as secret tips don't remain secret once they're published. Meg and Jaap really care for their guests, breakfast was great, bed super comfy. I also liked the idea very much to exhibit local artists. The place is a bit remote, that also makes it's charm. Thank you, guys! I wish you all the best for your future.

To me, there was nothing to be improved. But I guess, if I come back there will be improvements. I just could not see the need for them yet. But to be honest, I also could not picture so many unique details in this Vicarage.

What can we say, our stay was exceptional. The modern but cosy interior design had some fabulous details and this was carried throughout the whole building. Our room was enormous, very comfortable and well styled, and the bathroom was spotlessly clean as well as modern. Meg was more than accomodating of dietary needs (plant based/vegan) and honestly the breakfast was to die for. We could tell all the ingredients were fresh and prepared with love, and their love of the place really shone through. Every amenity was covered, but our only downside was we couldn't find a full length mirror in the room and the parking was a tiny bit of a squeeze. In all fairness we stayed for Easter Weekend so it made sense it was busy! Honestly we can't wait to come back though; the view was beautiful and the atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful. We were immediately welcomed by cats and dogs which added to the 'hiraeth' (Welsh for 'feeling of home')!! Perfect for a quiet weekend away (dogs welcome) or for proximity to Cardigan if you want to explore the castle or the town. The roads are a little wild so be careful, but it only added to the sense of adventure!! Do not skip over this B&B, it was truly a magical stay. Diolch yn fawr iawn for making us feel right at home :) x

Parking was a tiny bit of a squeeze but not a huge problem

The hosts, Meg and Jaap were extremely welcoming, friendly and passionate about their home. The rooms were beautiful, cosy and had had lovely views. Bed was a super king size, The breakfasts were delicious, different and very tasty.. The off road parking was a real bonus, as the house is situated on a very narrow road.

The only drawback was the location, which was somewhat isolated., with very narrow roads. There are no pubs or restaurants in the immediate vicinity, so a car is needed to get to the nearest town of Cardigan (about 3- 4 miles away)

Well decorated and generous room with a lovely open view over the garden towards the sea. Characterful property in a rural location yet reasonably close to Newport and Cardigan for restaurants and shops (10-15mins drive), attractive (and steep in places) 25-30min woodland walk down to the nearest beach. Large, mainly grassed, garden that was perfect for our dog. Welcoming, friendly hosts and a good breakfast (dog welcomed to come down to breakfast too which was nice).

Nothing!

the old vicarage is a beautiful building situated in the countryside. The scenery was beautiful and Meg and Jaap have done an amazing job in renovating it the way they have. The bed was so comfortable and the room had quirky touches such as a row of books to read when relaxing, either in the room or the lounge. We only briefly met Jaap (who was lovely) but Meg was the perfect host, nothing was a problem and the breakfast were lovely! they also have two cats who live there, the female cat is super friendly! A word of advice for anyone staying, the local taxi companies only take cash for fares (if you want a drink a taxi is the only way of getting back due to the location) and we were charged £7 by the firm to go to a cash point on the way back as we didn’t have cash on us for both journeys.

There was nothing majorly wrong with the property, the lighting was slightly dark in the room for my partner dpi my her make up and the shower head didn’t stay up when moving it higher. But these no way affected our stay

Both Meg and Jaap were lovely and very accommodating. The accommodation itself was nice and modern with great presentation, incredibly comfortable rooms. Breakfast was a great addition and able to cater for my vegan partner with ease. Great location to head out to a local bay.

Everything was great, but there were a small number of things that needed a little TLC in the rooms such as some peeling wallpaper and broken tiles - but that's being incredibly picky.
