The Glendower Hotel was an absolute experience! The room facilities were ideal and we had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the room itself had a wonderful, cozy retro vibe. The pub downstairs was basically the meeting place for the whole village. The host did his job with passion and with an incredible warmth. Despite significant language barriers, we quickly got into conversation with people. It was a lot of fun with you guys, thank you! - the german backpackers :)

I loved the breakfast. It was cooked perfectly and served hot by a very amenable chef. I was impressed on arrival by the welcoming attitude of staff who saved my life by loaning me a travel charger although apparently you can charge your phone at the bar!☺ The cute "Rubber Duckie" on the towel was a special touch. I hope I was s'posed to souvenir it.

Nothing could have been better.

It is close to the ferry port, it was dated but clean. David the barman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of towels, pillows and extra blankets. Plenty of coffee, juice, cereal and toast. Locals in the bar were friendly

The stairs has small steps and steep, not suitable for older people or people with knee problems. The boys thought the breakfast was mean one sausage, one rasher, one egg, tomato and mushrooms. A bit of kitchen paper to dry off excess grease would have been good too. Parking is off the premises

Breakfast was made to order & delicious! The hotel was quiet, cozy, easy to find with friendly staff. Felt a bit like a stay at your grandparents house in the best way (and with comfier beds)!

I liked how homey it felt, the staff knew me by name and were willing to help in any ways needed. Traveling solo as a woman can be intimidating and I felt very at ease here.

This is a comfortable small hotel with a nice hot breakfast with a view of the bay. It was an easy walk to the train station, the bay, and the ferry to Ireland. It was relatively easy to find

The parking was in the lot a short walk away. I didn't know that when I arrived. It would be good to have that in the description.

Very friendly and helpful Staff. (My room was Compact, but clean and comfortable, And the bed was very comfortable too!). The Hotel itself is quite compact, and centrally located in Goodwick, close to several restaurants, with it's own Bar. Not far from the Ferry Terminal.

I've got no complaints, but it may not be suitable for people with mobility problems.

The breakfast was good, and served promptly. A very comfortable bed, spacious shower room, with everything you would expect in the way of shower gel, hand wash and shampoo. Although the hotel doesn't have its own car park, the nearest one is very close by (about a minute's walk), and you can pay for a week's parking by credit card - very convenient, and actually preferable to accessing the hotel by car as it is on quite a steep, narrow hill.

Breakfast could have had a bit more variety, for example fresh fruit to eat with cereal, as I prefer a cold meal in the morning. Cigarette smoke tended to drift up from the outdoor seating, into the stairwell, though did not reach my room. There was quite a lot of noise from this area, so not good for early-nighters, but it was quiet mostly by 10.30 pm. A bell in reception could be useful for summoning staff.

From the time we Checked in till the time we left, the staff and their service has been second to none. We have thoroughly enjoyed out stay. I am professional hotelier and was so humbled by the fact everyone looked after myself and my daughter like their own family. All we wanted was a simple and sweet place. All the rooms face the road side but it’s not a busy road. Beautiful, stunning location with lots of lovely spots such as untouched beaches, forest walks, water falls, plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs. One advice, make sure you book in any restaurants in the busy months as most places were fully booked because we kept it till last minute. But there were still plenty takeaways to choose from. We definitely enjoyed our fish and chips, Kebab takeaways sitting by the harbour at night as we watched the sun going down and watching the Ferry from Ireland arriving at the Fishguard harbour. This was something we looked forward to every evening. Aberfforest bay was the most beautiful little bay we have ever swum in. Clean, clear, untouched. Newport beach was a long sandy one and waters were always warm and shallow for about 50 meters. It felt like I was swimming in a pool. Thank you to everyone including loving Dai, Ron, Bernard and the lovely ladies who run the pub in the evenings. If we ever come this way again, we will definitely be staying with you. I will recommend you to my friends too. Shanika and Shania

Maybe a fan in the room during the very hot months.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere of the pub was brilliant. It's right near the sea which I loved and on the Wales Coastal Path. It's a stone's throw away from Fishguard too. My room was cute and cosy and had a little view of the sea too. The breakfast was delicious too. I absolutely loved my stay here and will definitely be back again!

A warm, friendly, welcoming place to stay. Very nice breakfast. The bar is the 'locals' pub, something that I really appreciated. Easy access to the beautiful coast path.

Not much. The single room was a little small, not sufficient room for a chair. Having said that, this didn't really detract from my enjoyment.
