Amazing little place, warm & welcoming. Perfect location & clean rooms.

The parking isn’t ideal but they make the best of what’s available and accommodate you. The food wasn’t great on the last night but having said that it was ok on the first night. Mix up and delays with Breakfast when only 4 of us in the restaurant, so was disappointed when the sausages weren’t freshly cooked. They had been reheated. No hot water for almost 24 hours, but the staff kept us updated. This didn’t affect our stay as the place itself and staff were lovely.

The Ship has the perfect location and our room had the added bonus of a balcony overlooking the beach. Staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They had the added bonus of food onsite and we would definitely recommend the cocktails. The beach is very clean and safe having access to the coastal path for walking along West Wales which we love. We were also lucky enough to watch dolphins play in the sea in this beautiful cove. I would definitely recommend a stay, thank you to everyone for making this the perfect getaway.

I would like to suggest the addition of fresh fruit and yoghurt to the breakfast menu

Hotel clean, very comfortable and in a lovely location right on the beach. Rooms are well decorated and stylish and the bed was really comfy. We had a fabulous sea view from our balconyvroom. Food at the hotel was really good and reasonably priced. All that could be said of loads of hotels.. what sets this one apart is the staff. From the moment we arrived we felt genuinely welcome, the team were warm, friendly and professional and went out of their way to give fantastic service. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back. Thank you.

Nothing. Parking is tight, just a few spaces, but priority is given to hotel residents and the staff team made sure we got a space.

Access to the hotel was down a very winding, narrow road and at the bottom was this amazing pub/restaurant/accommodation right on the beach. There was limited parking but for our Motorbike it was perfect. Our room was overlooking the beach, it was great, so comfortable, awesome shower, had everything we needed. We eat in the restaurant, food was superb. We sat in the garden and watched the sun go down, it was just perfect. We didn't book breakfast at the time of booking the accommodation but as we were not near any town we asked if we could book breakfast which finished at 10.00am and we asked around 10.15. The staff were so accommodating and cooked for us bacon/sausage and egg baps which we eat outside in the garden overlooking the beach in the brilliant sunshine. Couldn't fault it, everything was lovely and the staff were brilliant.

Excellent location Very nice room & en-suite, good size room for the type of property, clean and recently decorated Comfortable and roomy bed Good bar area and outside seating area, good selection of beer and other drinks Dog friendly

The food wasn't up to expected standard. We had to return one evening meal for being overcooked and inedible. The other evening meals were just OK. Breakfasts were also overcooked or had been left under heaters which was a surprise as breakfast service wasn't busy so quality/freshness should have been better.

Had a lovely few days away on a much needed break at the end of Christmas / New Year. Have been going to Ship Inn for a good few years and have seen it change through the different people who have run it. It was lovely to see that it's picked up quite a bit since I last stayed in 2014!! Rooms have been renovated and are much more modern but still sympathtic to the building. Bar and restirant area looks fresh and the conservatory area was lovely. Love the location of the Ship, right on the beach, and was fantastic to be able to bring both the dogs who were warmly welcomed by staff and others.

Wait times for food (breakfast mainly) were a little long, but it was end of the Christmas period / New Year and it was obvious that staff were busy, especially on the Saturday when they were prepping for the New Years eve festivities, and then New Years day Sunday lunch.

The location just above the beach is superb, even better if you have (as we did) one of the two rooms with a balcony. The view is really exceptional and the beach itself simply wonderful. The room is modern and well-equipped. We were there during the record heat period but there was even a large fan to help cope with that. The bar/restaurant offers a very good choice of excellent food and there are plenty of tables out the front for great views of sunset during dinner. The staff are first-class, from Julie who looked after the room, to Hayley who looked after us with the right mixture of friendliness and professionalism in the restaurant (her former hospitality trainer role shone through), to Frazer in admin and Holly the manager, whose "baby" this place very much is: her love, care and management skill are evident.

The only tiny negative was a very sensitive shower, which went from freezing to boiling in about a millimetre's adjustment! Not a negative, but note that access is either via a narrow internal staircase (closed at night) or via an external fire escape, which is a very useful independent lockable access, but both may be difficult for someone with restricted mobility.

This place is not for everyone -- climb stairs behind a small registration desk in the dining room to reach rooms above the pub -- but it's the kind of experience we relish....especially when the inn is located at an end-of-the-road ocean beach that was bustling on a Saturday night. Wide, broad beach, on an inlet of Cardigan Bay, with a water fall from a bluff.

There was no soap, and it required several requests to remedy that...but it was a very busy night in the restaurant and bar.

This is an amazing pub/hotel. We were in love with it as soon as we pulled up to the outside of this. It's just rocks, sea and beach. Ahhh fabulous. The hotel was newly renovated, you could still smell gloss paint in the corridor. Our room was a stunner, balcony doors open out to a seaview, sea sea sea!! Everything was spanking brand new, who doesn't like that?? Nice decor, cozy comfy bed, super clean & perfect for two love birds. Bathroom lovely too. Great shower. Delicious breakfast choices! Dinner was also amazing there. As there is nothing else really in the vicinity you will want to eat there so book yourself in. View from the pub/dining area is fab and there is also a outdoor patio area too.

The location and view from the room. Absolutely stunning sunsets in a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was very good as was the decor inside and ample seating outside to fully enjoy being by the sea. The staff were very polite and helpful and the room was a very good size with a balcony.

The outside of the building could do with some tlc; flaking paint and broken fencing but that didn’t take away from our time here and we will definitely be back.
