The property is in an amazing location with fantastic decor and design throughout giving you a luxurious Manor House feel. Situated in an absolutely beautiful spot surrounded by lush meadows of wild flowers and greatly catered for gardens. The rooms are spacious with large beds, comfy quilts and nice pillows. The bathroom was nice and modern with a fantastic shower head. Black out curtains to keep you asleep. Nespresso machine in every room for a semi decent coffee in the morning (struggled to find decent coffee anywhere on Conwy) The staff where absolutely amazing, catering to every need we had and going above and beyond. They really are a credit to this place and should be appreciated. Always willing to help and couldn’t of asked for more of them so thank you for making it a xtra special. It was my partners birthday and they provided a nice glass of fizz for us upon entering our room.

Breakfast was very expensive for basic continental. With not a great selection. However staff allowed me to just get a bowl of cereal as I didn’t want more than that.

Newly reopened after a 12 month long full refurbishment, exceptionally done. The manager Kendreya is very welcoming, informative and enthusiastic about all of the offerings of Caes Rhud. Nothing was too much trouble when taking care of all of my 84yr old mothers needs….. The photos on Booking.com are the true likeness of the hotel rooms which are immaculate, if taking the time to view the hotels own website, the hotel website nearly put us of booking our trip but decided to take a chance. You need to completely disregard the internal photographs of the hotel from their own website “which are very basic and old fashioned”, I discussed this with Kendreya on our checkout, currently there is an issue taking control of the website from the previous owners and are therefore unable to update or delete the old outdated photos from prior to the refurbishment. You can trust that the booking.com photos are the true ones.

Currently no cooked breakfast, only continental as of Sept 2023 whilst the kitchen awaits Grade II listed building sign off. I brought this up at checkout and is waiting imminent resolution, this is out of the hotels control to be fair. Evening dining will also be offered once the kitchen sign off happens. The restaurant is completely ready for use as of today and once the kitchen is signed of as ready kitchen cooking can begin.

All the staff were welcoming and attentive. The night Porter even got glasses of water for us at 4.30am. We came down to take our dog out to spend a penny and we were parched, how kind! And the groundskeeper with his resident dog was only too happy to chat, and he didn’t seem too bored with all my questions. Lol The Hotel is super dog friendly, they even leave a doggy welcome pack, complete with ball! The bed was so comfy, and we had a gorgeous spacious room. (We didn’t book a basic room so cannot comment on what those are like). There was fabulous views of the countryside all around, simply stunning. We will definitely be back.

I would have given a 10 all around. But I was really disappointed that they do not do a cooked breakfast only a continental. If we’d have realised we would have booked a room without breakfast. But honestly, it’s just a small gripe. I believe they will be offering these at some point, but they’ve only just opened. It didn’t tarnish our love of the place though.

Absolutely stunning building and location, the swing in the gardens was a really nice touch too. The most comfortable bed we've ever slept in and the room itself was beautiful. We could've sat in the bath overlooking the gardens all night. The decor throughout the hotel was breathtaking, so classy but cosy. We spent the evening in the bar playing chess and couldn't help from admiring every attention to detail that had been made. So many beautiful plants everywhere as well. Definitely our new favourite place for a little break, we didn't want to leave! 100% we will be back.

We couldn’t be more complimentary of this hotel. From start to finish everything about the hotel and staff was impeccable. They went above and beyond and there was so many little added features throughout the hotel. My husband and I have gone as far to say that it’s the best hotel we’ve stayed at in a very long time. Already looking at booking our next stay.

We loved everything about the hotel. The only thing we would say is that you will need transport to get into Conwy town centre as the hotel is out of the way but that was absolutely fine for us as we had drove.

The hotel has only just reopened after an extensive refurbishment - we booked at the last minute and found a classy, tastefully appointed and beautiful hotel with genuinely friendly and helpful staff. Perfect to stay for a romantic break or as a wedding or party venue. Yes, we'll be back.

Breakfast is available but unfortunately the hotel doesnt have lunch or evening restaurant yet, although we understand there are plans to have one. Nearest pub restaurant is approx 1 mile and Conwy 5 miles (£15 each way by taxi).

Amazing building, bags of character and history The staff were really friendly and pleasant and couldn’t do enough to make your stay perfect The room was very comfortable, and there were lots of cosy touches which I can imagine making you feel very relaxed in autumn/winter (it was 25 degrees when we were here…!) Continental breakfast was good quality products

There wasn’t much around at night. If you’re happy to chill in the hotel bar and lounge with a book or games then you’ll love the place

Beautiful setting & fabulous decor having recently been refurbished. The staff were very helpful, extremely welcoming, and so friendly. Delightfully comfortable beds, soft fluffy towels & owls hooting outside this impressive place. Bonus....to find out it's dog friendly and they hope to be opening up the restaurant before too long. (This is only being delayed by planning issues as the fabulous building has a grade II Cadw listing). I'll be back... Next time with hubby and our black labrador.

Location, stunning place , beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, comfortable beds and friendly staff that made you feel welcome.

The lack of bar food/ restaurant-although understandably the hotel had only recently opened and they explained why it was not available yet. A shelf in the bathroom would have been useful as personal toiletries had to be put on the floor and basin was tiny and not very practical - may have been different in another room .

A pleasant surprise great value for money. Beautiful refurbished building lovely style lots of gorgeous plants and ambient candle lights which felt very homely . We enjoyed the swing and outdoor grounds beautifully lit. Comfortable bed and fab fresh continental breakfast with lots of choice. Staff were extremely welcoming.

No where to hang clothes in the bedroom ok for an overnight stay but necessary for a longer stay.
