Min y Don Guest House

Probably the best guest house we have ever stayed in in fact there’s no probably about it!! Definately a beautiful gem by the sea 👍😀

From the moment we arrived we could tell that Paul and Sharon would go over and above to ensure that their guests were given the best possible welcome. From showing us to our room and fully explaining the facilities, to all the lovely extras in the room like proper mugs and a teapot for drinks, fresh orange juice ,bottles of water and fresh milk (and prosecco!) in the fridge to quality towels, bathrobes and high end toiletries in the bathroom. Our room was extremely spacious and airy and beautifully furnished . The bed was really comfortable and the view out of the bay window was stunning. And the breakfasts! You certainly won't be disappointed. Plenty of choice of quality items with excellent attention to detail and beautifully laid tables. We thoroughly recommend a stay at Min Y Don.

We had a 'magical' time at Min y Don guest house. From the moment we pulled up we were greeted with a very warm welcome and this hospitality continued throughout our stay. The room was spotless with a lovely comfortable bed and a bath with magnificent views of the sea and beyond. Lovely little touches in the room and the mini fridge was a bonus. The bath robe and slippers made us really feel like we were on holiday. The breakfast was fantastic...fabulous choice of food cooked to perfection. Huge portions that keep us full all day. A hop, skip and a jump and we were on the promenade, lovely walk with far reaching sea views and wildlife. We had a wonderful stay and hopefully will be back to see you again. Thank you.

It was truly a delightful “home from home”. The location is superb with amazing views and convenient for all trips to Snowdonia, Anglesey and Llandudno. Sufficient off-road parking at the property. The location has an engaging buzz of activity at the sea front while remaining peaceful. Sharon and Paul have created a stylish and practical design in their property. In our room we found thoughtful touches rarely seen outside 5* hotels. The breakfast options were great and food was served without delay at our pre-selected time.

With a view over the sea, this reminded me of all the movies of the French west coast. The rooms were nicely decorated, a lot of care making it feel real homely. The piece the resistance was the bath tub that just begged you to get in. Such a real nice old free standing one. The host was not just kind but also entertaining with his magic tricks during a rich but British breakfast

If we do need to complain, it should be about the town and the local establishments, but with Conwy close by and accessible with good public transportation this is really too much

Everything, it was spacious comfortable the most amazing welcome from our hosts that carried on throughout our stay. Absolutely fantastic breakfast where choice was fabulous and attention to detail was excellent. It’s also a great base for touring North Wales. It’s situated on the promenade with a lovely pavilion that served all sorts of food and drinks. The views from Min Y Don are absolutely stunning from Puffin Island to Beaumaris to the beautiful sea views what’s not to love.

You would really struggle to find anything wrong

Great room - Very comfortable, sea view with tea, coffee and snack facilities better than a lot of 5 star hotels. Even had fresh milk in the fridge! Breakfast was exceptional in both quantity and quality. The hosts were also outstanding, with lots of local knowledge that they were willing to impart when asked. Good on site parking - a definite bonus along this stretch of promenade.

Sharon and Paul were the perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome. Our rooms were lovely, tastefully decorated, very comfortable and spotless with a sea view overlooking Anglesey, Puffin Island and the great Orme could be viewed from the prom. In fact all the rooms had a sea view! Our rooms were cleaned daily and we had extras replenished like bottled water, tea, coffee, milk, juice, chocolates and biscuits etc daily. There were binoculars, telescope and information about the area and places to visit. The breakfasts were delicious, a wide choice was available and made to order . The dining room was lovely, again welcoming and overlooked the sea. The dining room and outdoor patio were available to use if you wanted to bring back food for your evening meal which was a bonus. The guest house had easy access to many places of interest and beaches: Anglesey, Colwyn Bay, Conwy, Snowdonia, Bodnant gardens and Caernarfon and many more areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly return to Min y Don again. Thank you Sharon and Paul.

We couldn’t have asked for more from Sharon and Paul and the guest house Min y Don. There was nothing we didn’t like and will certainly visit again. Just wished the holiday had lasted longer! Thank you.

Delicious breakfasts with plenty of choice. Our room was exceptionally comfortable with a wonderful view of the sea. It also had the best dressing table I've ever seen! Nothing was too much trouble for our lovely hosts, Sharon and Paul.

It was a little tricky to find somewhere to eat in Llanfairfechan in the evenings.

Everything about the place is class. We were met with a warm welcome by Sharon and Paul who instantly made us feel at home. The room was amazing, looking out over Puffin Island and Anglesey. It had an exceptionally comfortable 4 poster bed with 2 comfortable chairs and footstool in the window. There were 4 sets of crystal drinking glasses, separate dressing room and large bathroom with a lovely shower where lots of toiletries were provided. We had a complimentary bottle of wine, and snacks and drinks in the room were replenished every day. The breakfasts were large and fantastic with some items on the main course being their own specialities. The accommodation is perfect for a base for exploring North Wales and the surrounding attractions. We spent four nights there, having never been before but would certainly return and we would recommend Min-Y-Don to anyone.
