We loved the location, and size of the room. It was clean, with a spacious bathroom and a good comfortable bed.

Access to the apartment; I emailed the contact before arrival as our check in status kept reading 'pending' despite fully completing all forms online a week before our stay. Finally, I had to email on Thursday and received a reply saying they had manually checked us in and gave us a code for the front gates. We used this code to access the gates. As for the Vikey door....the mobile unlock did not work. We had to type in the 6 digit code every time. The Vikey was apparently meant to be easy....if we were not tech savvy there's no way we would have had access to our apartment. Overall, Vikey door company is rubbish, and they should reinvest. It is not safer than a key or a code.

Perfect location on Leith Walk - super central. Great value for money for being in the city centre. Building/room felt really modern and clean. Loved the decor and the room had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. Fantastic customer service - really friendly and attentive.

Location of the main entry point with the locked gate. Is right next to a pub with busy outdoor seating, so we felt a wee bit uncomfortable wrestling with suitcases and getting the gate unlocked while onlookers tried to guess the code! Not a big deal, but could be nicer if the gate was maybe moved a bit further back so it’s a little more private.

Location was excellent; only a 15 minute walk from Princes Street. We also discovered that there is a tramstop very nearby, so the airport tram actually passes the door (there was an issue with the trams the day we arrived, so we couldn't take advantage, but good to know for future reference!). Room was very clean, as was the bathroom. The whole area, and building were nice and quiet. Lots of nice restaurants, and a new shopping centre, were nearby.

The door code hadn't been provided beforehand, so I had to call (there's no reception), but the issue was quickly resolved, so no major headaches!

The bed was very comfortable as well as the carpet. The option of having a mini fridge was a real bonus as well as having a coffee machine.

I had an issue with the bathroom tap. When pulling the tap to full volume, the sink was too shallow for a full release of water. Water splashes on the floor when a guest fully engages the tap. Another issue is storage for clothes, shoes etc. More storage (wardrobe etc) could be used if a guest is to prevent clothing being left on the floor. Could also help if dirty worn clothing is left on the floor, only for the cleaners to deal with.

I loved how safe and clean the room was. Check-in was super easy and it was such a cute and nice place to come back to and rest after a day out in the city. I thought it was situated in a great spot, it was near a tesco express if you ever needed to get a quick snack, and it was honestly just so perfect for someone who is travelling alone. It had a great bathroom, convenient key on your phone, netflix + prime video on the TV, a nice window view, and they even had free water in the fridge! I truly hope to come back and book a room from on the walk again.

Room 7 is a family room and the photos had given the impression of one very large room with 2 double beds. It turned out to actually be a lovely suite of rooms; 1 large bedroom and a second large room with bed, sofa, mini fridge and large tv, as well as plenty of storage. The bathroom was lovely, spotlessly clean with a large, powerful shower. Shampoo and conditioner were provided, towels were plentiful and lots of tea and coffee. The minibar contained free bottles of water and was large enough to hold milk, snacks and baby bottles for a family travelling. Iron, Ironing board and hairdryer were provided.

My only dislike, and it's a very small one, is the need for a mirror close to a socket so you can see what you're doing if drying your hair. If I had been travelling with very small kids, it would be helpful to know there are stairs down to the room, if using a pushchair etc.

The room was super. I loved the fire door before the entrance door which gives that extra layer of privacy. It had all the facilities needed including enough space to move around, adequate light, tv with Netflix, a comfy bed, clean towels, a hairdryer, lovely modern bathroom and furniture.. and the place was super clean! The location was also super.. away from the hustle and bustle of the royal mile but close enough to get there on foot in 20 mins! There was also a great bar next door and a lot of great places to stop by on the way! Even though it is a self service hotel, we needed to call as on the day of check out we left early and went back for our luggage before check out time and we couldn't get in. However I called and it was sorted in a matter of seconds and the person I dealt with was super efficient and friendly! Would definitely stay again :)

Nothing :)

What a little gem of a place this is! So many places to eat close by, would recommend for breakfast 'Not Just Coffee' we found on the short walk back into the city centre. We had a wonderful meal at the Black Fox which is literally next door. The accomodation was everything we needed and more! Clean, well appointed, warm and little extras like bottled water, coffee pods, biscuits...also lots of nice toiletries. Great location to walk from the station, also a good walk into Leith. Lots of independent quirky shops and cafes along the way.

We liked everything

The room was very comfortable. We had tea & coffee making facilities along with biscuits. The bathroom was nicely done and the shower was very good with plenty of hot running water. When entering the building you could feel the warmth which was inviting. Getting into the old town was easy by bus or taxi. Taxi about £6 to £7 to the centre or by bus which was £1-80 pp. The bus stop right outside the apartment. Plenty of small coffee shops and restaurants close by along with a small Tesco & Sainsburys. The coffee shop about 100 yards from the apartment was excellent for breakfast. Small but food was very good. When you come out of the apartment you turn right, walk about 100 yards then take the first right again and its there. All in all very comfortable and a good location.

The parking wasn't very close but fortunately I am disabled and we could use my blue badge in the side streets just beside Albert Place. The technology on the television was a bit difficult for us as we are not completely computer/smart phone literate but we managed to get various programs and watched a good movie.

Clean modern room, lots of space and nice toiletries supplied. Really liked the access, having a key code gate and then virtual kwy door is a great feature. The room was initially made up as a double when I had booked a twin and this was very quickly and efficiently handled and the room amended. All in all we had a great stay. Thanks

Only slight criticism would be that we very quickly ran out of tea bags and milk, good selection of coffees available but as 2 tea drinkers a better selection of tea would have been appreciated.
