The room was very clean and tidy which was fantastic as first impressions are everything. I arrived when it was dark, for one night to break up a long car journey, so I never really saw the views. I went straight to bed after arriving and had a great nights sleep. One thing I must mention is the lady on reception. I can’t remember her name but she was very welcoming, engaging explained a lot - a real asset to your company. As I said before first impressions are everything, and, arriving tired and quite late in the evening, after a long drive, her professionalism and engagement was something that should be praised. Thanks for the stay.

I thought the price of the room was a little expensive but other than that my comments above, I would hope, demonstrates this didn’t temper my experience and stay with you.

We got exactly what we expected - a warm place to sleep to break up our journey. We knew the furnishings wouldn’t be plush or extravagant BUT they were clean and comfortable and there was plenty of space in the room. The lady on reception was welcoming and very helpful with her local knowledge. We have stayed at more expensive places which did not meet our expectations. The Days Inn gave us a pleasant surprise on out short overnight stay. It was freezing outside but the heater in the room kept us snug. We arrived too late and left too early to benefit from the lake view..... but it was there!

The room we stayed in was fantastic value for money, beds were really comfortable and clean and there was plenty of space for my family. The staff were lovely and friendly and although they don't have a restaurant on site they offer a voucher scheme for McDonald's or Costa in the services attached. Would definitely stay again!

If I had to be really picky the seal on the bath needed some attention but this did not in any way affect our stay and whether we would stay again we really enjoyed it

The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. temperature in the room was ok, but it would be nice if the Radiator on the wall could have being turned on. Reception was great and check-in and out was hassle free and quick. managed to borrow a charger from reception was great.

There was no complimentary ,interns of hand lotion and think this would be a valuable thing to add little packets of theses things, simple as it might seems. possible phones charges at reception just incase guest have left theirs.

My team and I use hotels quite often for overnight stays, often booked that same afternoon. This hotel is usually requested by anyone traveling in that area. The hotel service and room are great and offer a beautiful view and a relaxing place to sit or take a walk.

There is nothing about the hotel itself that comes off negative. The only unfortunate thing is the access. From the North travelling Southbound it is great but South to North, getting there requires taking Junction 37 and turning back South - about 2 additional miles. From the hotel though, You will need to take Junction 36, which is 6 miles away, adding 12 miles to the trip. Not a big deal generally but something of note for EV drivers. I know this is not the fault of the hotel, it is just something to be aware of.

Room was basic and clean but that's all we needed as it was a half way point to our final destination. Beds were comfy and placevwas quiet. We had a lovely lake view too which was really nice. By far the best lay over hotel we've staying in on our long travels.

The postcode sends you to the opposite side of the lake which is like driving down a murder scene in a horror film tbf was a little exciting and fun for us. However the hotel did email us to tell us not to follow the satnav though this was sent too late as we were already on the opposite side of the lake

Staff members were lovely. The view is lovely across the lake. The place is easy to get to and you don’t really notice you are near a busy road. Kendal is a short drive away.

My only concern was we kept receiving emails saying we had booked for 2 adults rather than a family. I did try call but didn’t get an answer. They replied to my email later in the day. It was all fine once we got there but had a mild panic thinking I had booked wrong.

The view from the room and the service station were absolutely amazing. A truly unforgettable view. The staff were so friendly, ending up having a good chat with one lady, helping us decide where to visit. The rooms were a lovely size and quite comfortable. We were more than pleased with what we payed and what we had

The carpets had a few stains and a few stains on the couch but overall quite clean

I liked the location. And sitting on the parapet of the window you can enjoy the view of a lake with your favorite drink (if you bring it with you).

No beer on the whole site (not even on petrol station shop which I found useless anyway). I love my morning coffee but after hours of driving, staying for the night I would love to have something more relaxing... BTW: The lake is fenced like nearly everything in Lake Distric so there is no access to the water.

After moving house and driving 7hrs, with a cat in a carrier I was greeted politely, professionally and with good humour by a lovely lady at reception (blonde hair, glasses) she helped me with everything I needed and is an asset to this hotel. The room had a lake view, plenty of space, was warm and comfortable and great water pressure in the shower.

After a fantastic overnight experience I went to check out and the woman at reception (long black hair) was rude, yawning, disinterested and didn’t even say one word when I said ‘good morning, I’m checking out now’ she just made me feel like I’d interrupted her life.
