The Riverside has a stunning appearance in a beautiful location. It made us instantly fall in love with the area. Booking process and arrival was easy and smooth. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a two night stay. The twin beds were super comfy and there were plug sockets near both beds. The shower was perfect and bathroom clean. Room was a lovely temperature. We had dinner in the the pub and it was lovely. Service has been spot on! Gareth was lovely!

As mentioned the black folder needs checking please as we only had the menu inside. The front door also needs a look at but not an issue as the rooms had locks.

Loved the hotel for dinner and drinks, perfect for our one night stop over. Wish we had stayed longer to check out the town, so pretty. Loved being close to the water. Beds were comfortable, room was large just no extra facilities. Was hoping for a fridge. There was a kitchen but no cutlery or crockery, or capacity to cook or even peepare anything to eat or drink. Room temperature was good and lounge comfy. Could not work out the TV,not sure it worked.

A little noisy, as our room was close to the road, no fridge,no utensils, cutlery or crockery just cups and kettle with instant coffee, tea and mini milks. With a kitchen mentioned in the booking and listed as a family room, I was expecting facilities and implements to cook and have food storage.

Area location and how staff polite and went above and beyond to facilitate our problem we had with original room. WILL DEFINITELY BE BOOKING AGAIN TO STAY THERE AND WOULD RECOMMEND TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS

On arrival when we checked in and went to our room it was disgusting bed not made rubbish in bins one in bathroom had ladies sanitary pads used in it dirty cups on side and tele in room was really small once we spoke to staff he wasn't happy with room changed our room and went above and beyond upgraded our room to a better one couldn't apologise more and we was very happy with how this was handled

great location, lovely surroundings, nice outdoor seating by the river, food was good and reasonably priced, staff very friendly and helpful

check out in the morning was a bit confusing, we left early to start our walk and couldn’t see anybody, eventually there was a lady who told us about a post box near the main door. We probably should have mentioned at check in we were planning on leaving early and could have found this info out but didn’t realise the main building would be shut in the morning, but it is a pub so to be expected really

Felt superior room was slightly on the pricey side as it didn't include breakfast. Also didn't feel very safe in the shower with the step. Our daughter and grandchildren's family room reported to be below par, Evening meal and Breakfast very good, what you would expect from a pub restaurant. Lady on the bar on our visit was a real star sorry we didn't get her name

There wasn't a comfy lounge area that we could see. Road closure and diversion signs not helpful not very clear but not the hotels fault or responsibility

Excellent location on the banks of the River Thames and a five minute walk into the centre of Lechlade. Good sized double room with a single room off and good sized shower room. Lovely thick towels. Tea/coffee/biscuits provided and complimentary toiletries. Excellent free WiFi.

We stayed three nights mid week and breakfast is not available (which we did know). Even if we stayed at the weekend, breakfast is only served between 9.00 and 11.00 which is a bit late for Thames Path walkers. Limited restaurant menu.

Beautiful location, lovely friendly staff. We had lunch and breakfast here and both were delicious and reasonably priced. The room had a Fire Tv so we could log into our accounts. I also really liked the eco products in the bathroom and the big box of tea/coffee (though a dairy alternative would be good too) .

There was a little issue with the lamps flickering on and off, and there was no hair dryer so my partner had to go over to the main pub to ask for one and was told they don’t provide them. It just so happened there was one from a previous guest left behind. And only one big bath towel between us. But a tiny issue!

It is a beautiful hotel and the rooms are spot on and comfortable. We would definitely return to stay in the future. The riverside setting would have been perfect to eat your meal if the weather was kinder, but you can't predict that. The food was lovely, as was the breakfast we decided to have before we went to the airshow.

The only downside was the noise when people in other rooms were using the toilet or shower, but not overly that bad that it would deter from staying again.

Stunning location. Accommodation was comfy and there was plenty of room for all 4 of us. Boys played pool and darts non stop and didn't want to leave. Breakfast was great...lovely sausages!. Dined in the morning and evening, overlooking the river. Always able to get a seat with a view. The kids have said they definitely want to return. Great walks on the doorstep too!

I liked everything. Just a little request. Please consider making at least one of your accommodations dog friendly.. We would like to return with our friends. Our room would definitely suit being dog friendly. (maybe keep the newly refurbished ones dog free zones). Just an idea! Loved it anyway. Thank you.

Pretty much everything. The only problem was that a drunk driver had seriously damaged the bridge across the Thames causing the road to be closed which is the only access to Lechlade from the South. This has seriously restricted trade and caused earlier closing hours in licensed premises - including The Riverside. Not the fault of the Pub, of course.

Nothing Really. Breakfast menu was good but lacked a Continental option - other than Toast.
