Leicester Marriott Hotel

Bed was comfortable, we booked a king superior. Everything worked and all the things we needed were in the room. Breakfast was full of choice and ample. Iona I think her name was a lovely lady who helped us figure out the coffee machine, thank you you for patience. There were lots of facilities but we only stayed one night and didnt get a chance to explore, but lots of facilities that looked excellent. Very quiet so a lovely nights sleep.

Lots of parking but if you are booking and paying a good rate, that should have been part of the package. We paid separately for breakfast - so at least the parking should have been included in the stay.

Awesome building with such lovely staff all round a fantastic experience. It was my 17th wedding anniversary and I treated my wife to a night of luxury in your hotel . She absolutely loved it and would like to revisit again because she said now you have set a standard keep it there. She now thinks I'm the first black James Bond 007

Everything was excellent and well thought out but if I was being real picky I think we should be able to pay for your carpark when booking online so that when you're checking in it will be one less thing to cover and a quick and more efficient transaction.

Great value for money, Executive Room with access to the lounge. The evening happy hour was amazing, good choice of snacks and light eats - the husband ate his body weight in Samosas. The lounge steward was very attentive. Room was great, comfortable bed, great power to the shower, good bath. Would stay here again, very convenient off the M1 and near to amenities as well as family

Breakfast was included - the biggest disappointment, most of the food was cold and the coffee was not great. It was free but I would have been very upset to pay around 17GBP for what they offer....Breakfast not very warm maybe we weren't there at the right time

breakfast was excllent, an inviting selection of both pre-prepared and cooked-to-order dishes, nicely presented and frequently topped up by the attentive staff so that everything was fresh and appealling

I would have liked to have known that there would be a compulsory parking charge ahead of discovering that at check-in. It seemed to me rather penny-pinching to charge £3.50 for guests at a £135/night hotel, barely accessible by anything other than private vehicle, to park in the empty acres of out of town parking lot surrounding the hotel.

Large , quiet room (although hotel was quiet anyway it was a weekend in January). We enjoyed a buffet style breakfast with plenty of choice and also had a bar meal the previous evening - both meals were very good for hotel meals.

Only minor personal preferences - but there was no bottled water in the rooms . Reception advised us that the executive rooms do have bottled water and if we had asked it would have been provided, apparently the tap water is filtered as well . The shower was over the bath which is not unusual - however the bath was very narrow and showering was a bit awkward. Once again my personal preference is a walk in shower and I know you can’t please everyone. But it didn’t spoil our stay.

Hotel lobby was very attractive with velvet furnishings and fairy lights in the indoor plants and trees. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, with the extra large beds. The bedroom curtains were good quality and worked well as blackout in the early morning. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. The duty manager, Repal helped us with my wife's mobility issue with kindness, empathy and professionalism and this made our stay very pleasant.

Was really clean and room was stocked with coffee maker and fridge. Room was surprisingly quiet considering the reception area was lively with a bar. Seems a nice hotel for a drink and retreat to your room for a peaceful sleep, blackout curtains aided a nice lie in too.

Bath was a bit slippy when I first stepped in to take a shower luckily didn't go through the shower door and destroy the bathroom 🤣 there is a hand rail on the wall if you can grab it in time .

Clean, comforting, nothing broken. Staff were super friendly and caring, helped throughout any issue. Always a hello with cleaners who went out their way to help whatever was needed when asked.

The only thing I can say was negative, but not at all a huge issue, was requests did come by a bit slower via calls, rather than physically approaching someone to ask for something. But this is again not a huge issue. Everybody was super kind and helpful.

We check in the hotel and Haley was at reception. She was amazing. She gave us free upgrade and also we had small talk. She genuinely looked interested and which made me feel special. She also gave me free parking pass which was icing on the top. Overall the experience was great.

Dont want to stain a good review however could you please ask the housekeeping to attend to the bathroom walls..Sometimes guest are not so nice and leave some stuff on the bathroom walls which are not so nice and give impression of unclean bathrooms.

The service downstairs was great. It was late and the restaurant was about to close in about 5 minutes on Friday night. I was hungry and asked if they had anything. They quickly made a great club sandwich and drink and brought it up to my room. The desk staff was wonderful and I really liked the Receptionist working on Sunday morning during checkout. She was classy and professional.

Nothing. I liked everything about my stay.
