Hotel Brooklyn Leicester

The Hotel Brooklyn is often insane value for money, a genuine 4 star hotel, costing substantially less than £100 per night and often cheaper than both the IBIS and Premier Inn, i cannot believe the current pricing will last and therefore i am maximising the enjoyment whilst it does. I stay in a lot of hotels, and this a really good one and i just can't believe the value for money. Enjoy it while it last. It would still be good value and twice the price.

The bathroom is lovely overall, but the waterfall shower head is a very modern halo thing, like a dyson fan but water, however it doesnt acutally work very well, the hand unit is much better at getting you wet. But its a minor point really.

I'd included a comment to the hotel saying I intended to do some art and arrived to find I'd got a double aspect room with lots of light - and a note from the staff. That was really lovely. The room was large and had two places for sitting - one small table and a place that was more like a mini office space with desk lamp and sockets (both standard and USB). The bed was really comfy and the TV screen was placed in the right place for viewing when in bed. Breakfast was great - it's a buffet style and there was so much to choose from. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

It's a very warm September and the room was too warm at night. There is air-con but it goes off after a while so I woke up in the early hours each night and had to get up to put the air-con on again. But this would probably not be such an issue if it hadn't been the hottest few days of the year! The hotel is a little way from town centre, but there are plenty of buses if you don't want to walk or get a taxi. (There's even a free bus!)

The hotel is amazing, always kept clean, great natural light throughout, unbeatable communal working space located in the restaurant. The room was a decent size, super comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Definitely a value for money hotel with a great location, good quality toiletries and snacks! The staff at reception were also very welcoming and always give service with a smile.

The windows in the bedroom do not open so you have to keep the A/C on at all times. We also ordered room service, but the quality of the food was not great and certainly not worth the price - the sandwiches are not toasted, the cheesy chips were overdone and hardly had any cheese on it. The Macaroni and Cheese was good, but a small portion size for the price.

The location is next to the Tigers rugby ground and is very central to Leicester without being unduly affected by the noise and bustle of the city. The room was modern, clean, imaginative and exceptionally comfortable. The bar was welcoming and the staff all very friendly and helpful. I had been suspicious of the high ratings of this hotel (with more than 2000 reviews) as it has only been open since July 2022 - However, having stayed there I can say that the praise is justified. I have stayed at a lot worse for a lot more - this is how hotels should be!!

Had to ask for extra pillows and would prefer clear paperwork on what number to call in the middle of the night instead of having to rifle through the menu to find it and was incorrect number anyway. The staff however were very prompt with my request. Was not made clear before hand that I had to reserve parking and when directed to Tigers stadium upon arrival for cheaper alternative it was closed for a match so had no alternative but to pay £40 for 2 nights parking which is extremely unreasonable. Room was way too hot at night and couldn't adjust to under 18°

So much value for money! Me and the family had an amazing stay! When booking the hotel I needed a double room and twin side by side for a family of four. communication with the hotel was great and organised accordingly. Room was cleaning, spacious and nice quirky fixtures and fittings and luxury toiletries. Beds were super comfy and the breakfast finished off the perfect weekend.

A near perfect stay however there was a small hiccup when arriving there was no where to park! We used the intercom to enter the car park, however was told it had to be pre booked because there was only around 20 spaces and was fully booked over night. When making the booking it was not stated anywhere that there was limited parking and that it had to be pre booked! We weren’t the only ones that made the mistake! There were multiple cars that pulled in and were having to reverse out, luckily we got parked 5 mins walk away

We were booked for a late check out which we double checked at reception the night before, they forgot to update the system soo wen we checked out we got stuck in the lift for 15/20 minutes it was awful no one answered the help button we were ringing the hotel but that kept cutting out we were banging the doors etc finally I got through to the restaurant and thy sent someone over .. the staff were not very helpful Thy we’re like ohh er are sorry etc !! I suffer from anxiety as it is I had a full blown panic attack . I have emailed the hotel but heard nothing back!

Excellent, well located hotel not far from Leicester city centre just opposite the rugby station. Facilities, staff and my room (with luxe white company toiletries although no hand/body lotion offered - so bring your own!) were excellent and I couldn't fault anything during my stay. Very easy e-check in which was very quick. Highly recommended and I'd definitely stay again.

Only had one very minor complaint - my room was directly above the bar so I could hear that bass from the music. I spoke to the reception team and they quickly and efficiently moved me to a different room; and I was impressed by how well and professionally they resolved my issue.

Wow! This hotel is beautiful, fixtures and fittings are of the highest quality. The rooms have a beautiful state of the art shower and a comfortable bed. The location is was great easy access to parking. The staff were extremely busy as hotel was fully booked but they took time to ask how our stay had been at checkout. Breakfast had a good selection and the layout of food made it easy to self serve. I will definitely recommend to family and friends

The extractor fan was loud and turned itself on at intervals. I reported this to reception at checkout and they promised to get this checked out.

Stayed in an executive room one night and it was the comfiest bed I have ever slept on in my life, beautiful view from our room, complementary coffee pods and coffee machine hot chocolate and biscuits. Dressing gowns and comfy pillows.. We loved it so much we booked again but stayed in a club room didn't have as many perks and it was 2 beds pushed together didn't sleep well at all. The hotel itself was stunning and quirky I would recommend and definitely stay here again if I was ever in Leicestershire again, there's a nandos a mcdonalds and a morrisons just around the corner within walking distance and a car park £7.50 for the night the hotel car park was £20 and fully booked but they were more than helpful when we asked if they could recommend parking else where.

I wasn't crazy on the club room it was super hot couldn't open the window and the 2 beds together was disappointing after the luxury of the executive room, also only get 1 pillow each in the club room.
