Villare Leicester City Centre hotel

Couldn’t get out of the hotel as door was locked even thought it said it would open at 7 and we tried to leave at 7:45. Was almost late for work. We also called both numbers provided with no answer and no staff to be seen.

room was spacious, the biggest tv I've had at any hotel, tv user interface worked well and nice to have streaming services, plenty of storage spacious, modern bathroom, air conditioning/heating, bed was comfortable, room was reasonably quiet

seriously worried about their keycard computer system, on day one an error with their computer lead to a complete stranger coming into my room using a keycard when I was in it which really freaked me out, I was told this was a glitch and they had fixed this and no other guests would have access to my room, on day 2 my keycard wouldn't let me in my room and had to go to reception for them to fix this. It would have been nice if they put biscuits on the tea coffee facilities tray especially seeing as there is no restaurant in the hotel (so no breakfeast).

Very nice rooms. Great location and very friendly staff and they are also very chill. Absolute hun on reception saved me a trip to the shop by having the charging cable I needed. Also balcony is dope like a little garden. Shower was also really nice. Shout out to maisie peters because without her we wouldn't have gone here. Great variety of TV channels. Overall great experience.

The elevator gave me heebie jeebies as it keep shaking and creaking as we used it. Also we were in room 103 and the air con is broken.

No breakfast at this hotel which doesn’t bother me as I’m not a morning eater. Normal hotel was fully booked so had to find an alternative. Balcony is great addition to get fresh air fridge and safe in room. Unfortunately broken hangers so unable to hang clothes didn’t ask for a replacement. Reception on check in was a bit rude and probably needs some training for customer service. Smart tv in room meant I could watch Netflix and BBC iplayer

Parking is a little far away. Getting out of the shopping centre is like a warren and you could end up walking very far if you don’t know your way around

The staff were super friendly and welcoming, upon arrival the hotel is not appealing from the street but do not let this put you off. The rooms are lovely and decorated with all the amenities you may need, the beds are comfy and the bathrooms are well designed. The location of the hotel is ideal for a city center break and there is a secure car park (separate to the hotel) just round the corner. For a budget hotel this is definitely a catch! Highly recommend

As it is a city center hotel, there is a lot of street noise, however this is not something I realize can be changed. Parking despite being easy to access is quite expensive at £20 for any stay longer than 8 hours. But other than that, the hotel itself has no faults.

Nicely designed boutique room, with a mahoosive giant TV set - with Netflix and Prime etc (already signed in - I don't know if those were previous residents accounts I was using!) Great central location, with parking available for just £6 a day, and a great view from the room & from the rooftop bar / reception area which is worth taking a moment to appreciate.

Only slight quibble is the noise from the street, bars, and restaurants down below. I was there on Friday and Saturday night, so it goes on till late. The hotel has been installed in the three floors above a street full of entertainments. If you can live with the sound (and I was fine with it) this is a great place to stay.

absolutely everything perfect price beautiful hotel and service was brilliant to it was clean and comfortable good tv so you can watch Netflix and things and the nice little touches to the room it was very warm and welcoming I like that you don’t have to go all the way out of the building to go smoke you can just go onto the terrace absolutely beautiful view you can tell they take pride into the hotel and it’s well taken cear of and if there is a problem they help you and they give you all the information you need I wish I booked for longer but definitely will be going back

that when you go in the lift you can go to any room you want and that is a protection issue because if some one was after a person in the building or some one was under the influence they could go to any room they want nock on and the person in the room wouldn’t know who is behind the door because there is no spy holes so I think if the hotel wanted to make more money then to instal spy holes and a key card machine in the lift so you can only go to floor 3 without a key card and a door that requires a key card for every level of floors you go to

lovely decorated boutique hotel, private entrance and comfy bed.

no sound proofing, could hear everyone else’s conversations in the other rooms and constant doors slamming all evening. the door on the wardrobe was broken, the TV remote was dirty and so was the shower floor.

lovely decor, nice big tv. lovely shower/bathroom. easy access to floors with a lift, nice little reception area, with a little bar, nice fancy seating area, also an outdoor balcony to smoke on or just for sitting out. nice polite staff. i was happy there was wifi a fridge in the room and also a safe. overall I was really happy with my stay

the only thing I can complain about was the heating in the room it was freezing when first got in there and remained cold, a member of staff did knock the door and ask if everything was ok with the heater/fan to which we said no it’s blowing out cold air he set it to the heated one but it still remained cold so we turned it off in the end and the room was cold when we woke up but apart from thst everything was Perfect

Excellent budget room. Powerful shower and excellent staff to help at all times. I needed extra coffee and a shaving kit on two occasions and the staff happily brought these up to my room for me. The room is modern and very clean. Location is excellent - right in the middle of city centre. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I loved the outside rooftop terrace as it meant I could smoke without having to leave the building

Just one small thing - room had no hairdryer!
