The hotel was excellent - very close to the attractions and a lively area. The promenade was only a few minutes away. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfasts were extremely generous, with plenty of options. We also enjoyed the restaurant one evening. The room had plenty of space and there was a large bathroom.

As the hotel is in a residential area only on-street parking was available. But whether it was luck or judgement we were surprised to always manage to find a spot across from the hotel or just round the corner.

Just got back from a Dad and lad break with my two sons (7 & 4). From start to finish the hotel and staff were absolutely fantastic, couldn't do enough to make sure we were OK. Left bags before and after check in so we could explore, no issues. Breakfast was brilliant, rooms were clean, spacious and comfy beds. Barmaid on both nights was just brilliant with us when I wanted a quiet drink and made a fuss of the kids. Loved it! Not experienced hospitality like that in the UK before, just brilliant. Thank you so much to all of you.

I'm 6"4 and the doorways are a bit low, but you'd have to be a massive crank to mark a hotel down on it's 100+ years architecture. Just remember to duck!

The hotel is centrally located and consists of a lovely bar area and and an excellent restaurant which has an extensive menu that caters for all. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of food is unbeatable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in was advertised as small but it was more than adequate for 2 people. The room was very clean and it was quiet. The breakfasts were fantastic and I loved the collection of teapots. All in all this lovely hotel and it's staff made a large contribution to a brilliant weekend.

I could not fault this place

Staff are brilliant, food including evening meals excellent, outside seating, and pub, all makes our stay very pleasant.

Parking is awful, we ended up getting a fine this time as there was just not enough free parking. Llandudno council get your act together and provide free parking. Post house stairs could do with a repaint. Not enough shelves in bathroom, could do with one above toilet in small double for deodorant etc.

This is an old school hotel, based on a previous postal office for the town. The rooms are not big, but very comfortable, including the modern bathroom . The dining room area was very good, looking out onto the busy street. The staff were very accommodating to requests, and information about the town and area. The place is very close to the downtown extensive shopping street, Mostyn street.

I suppose that it could benefit from double glazed windows, which could be helpful in winter. On the other hand, the expense would be considerable, and possibly difficult to recoup the expense, given the high numbers of similar hotels, and the likely long recovery from the covid shutdowns of the tourist economy.

Great location, room a good size . Super comfy bed great shower. Staff were friendly and polite. Great full breakfast. The evening menu was simple but adequate the steak and ale pies were huge and very tasty served with triple cooked chips.and fantastic gravy.. Reasonably priced drinks in a well stocked bar. Walking distance to all the bars and restaurants and of course the fantastic pier and tram stop to the top of the Orme. Will definitely be back.

An excellent, value for money small hotel. Absolutely spotlessly clean - really spotless. The bathroom looked completely new and everything had been recently repainted right through the hotel. Check-in was quick and easy and breakfast was good with friendly staff. I know the town well having been a resident previously and chose The Post House for it's very convenient location in a quite side road off the Orme end of Llandudno's main street. I was lucky to park on the street right outside due to a midweek stay out of season.

Lovely frontage to the property, with tables outside. Staff prompt when i checked in and friendly. Room was a small twin and was clean and modern with comfy beds. Breakfast i ordered scrambled eggs and bacon and it was perfectly cooked.

One of the lamp switches was missing the button to turn on so there was only one lamp to read by. The main light was fine just too bright for bedtime. To be fair i forgot to mention this to staff before i checked out. It was minor.

I visited Llandudno for two nights so I could access a tour via Adventure Tours Snowdonia so needed a base. However, I found Llandudno a very pleaseant town, clean and well kept. Obviously, the local authorities and the permanent residents take a great deal of pride in their town. The beach is clean and part-sandy. Great walks along the bay, good shopping, friendly atmosphere. One warning - beware the seagulls!! So, to turn to the hotel, The Post House. The price being reasonable in high season, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accommodation. The decor needs a bit of an update, but with business being reduced over the last couple of years in particular, I guess there isn't the revenue to do it. Being a single traveller, my room was very small but it was perfectly adequate for the two nights. I booked dinner in the restaurant for both nights. Different day, different chef! The first night's choice of sea bass on a bed of new potatoes, black olives and tomatoes, green beans was served in a delicious buttery sauce. It was an amazing dish which was the best dining out experience I've had for a long time. The second night was not as good, I'm afraid. I asked whether the chef was the same one as the previous night and as told 'no, but just as good'. Sorry to report but that wasn't the case. The seafood risotto I ordered was bland and over-cooked. The rice was more like pudding rice. I know that you can't cook a risotto in five minutes so was a bit surprised when it was served so quickly. But, never mind, the sea bass of the first night will remain in my memory. Good service overall, but definitely better that first night. Pleasant and friendly overall. The Post House is situated in a very convenient part of town, positioned under the Great Orme. The shops and other local restaurants are very close. Warning: Avoid walking down the sea front with an ice-cream in your hand!!

Good prices in the bar but the beer I ordered was very bitter and I think was probably sour. The wine was good.
