We loved the location - just what we needed. Quiet and out of the way, with a view across the Menai Strait, looking over towards Bangor, with views across to the Great Orme. The staff were all very young, but all very professional and attentive. The decor and furniture in the room and the public areas were all very nice. The room was lovely and spacious. The food was good - except that we left it a bit too late for a Sunday roast, so the selection was limited. I only really wanted a steak and there wasn't one on the menu at all. But what we had was nice. Breakfast was lovely. We had initially intended to check in and then go out for dinner, but we loved the location, the atmosphere, the beer selection and the look & smell of the food so much that we didn't leave.

The only negative for me was the noise in the room. Next door's bathroom was right next to our bedroom and the toilet flush was ridiculously loud. Sadly, our neighbours were either a party of 20 or had very weak bladders, so it made for a noisy night. :(

Staff were friendly, efficient and professional. The views from the hotel are wonderful and can be seen through large windows from the bedrooms and the dining rooms. \room was nicely decorated with a good shower room. The linen and towels were good quality. We had dinner on both nights and breakfast on one morning. The food was nicely cooked using local produce, fresh and piping hot. Lots of fresh fish on the menu. My choice was limited by the amount of dishes using garlic which I don't eat.

Only picky things!! No full length mirror in the bedroom, only one bedside cabinet and very low lighting. None of these things impacted on the enjoyment of our stay.

The position of the hotel was amazing. Views to die for!! A little remote but we were out and about all day so it didn't really matter. Food was very good and nice atmosphere. The real stars of the show are the staff, friendly and attentive, well done all!! 👏 ✔

Only 3 coat hangers so had to live out of case. To be fair I'm sure more would have been provided if we had asked! Steep walk down steps from car park but we are able to carry baggage ourselves. Saw a lovely young member of staff helping another couple to take their rather large case up two flights of stairs to their room.

Frankly the room is free, you pay for the view which is utterly spectacular. Looking through the window was like having a painting that changed minute by minute as the light changed - glorious. We have been coming to the pub for many years, the recent refurbishment of the bar and restaurant areas is excellent. The staff were welcoming, efficient and helpful. There was also the bonus of an excellent singer on the Friday night. Food was delicious. We used to regularly stay at The Bull, which has sadly gone downhill, moving forwards we will be staying at the Gazelle.

The room is still a little basic, had to run around to get under the shower somewhat and a coffee machine would have been great. All minor points though.

Lovely location overlooking the Menai Straits. Nice meal in restaurant in the evening followed by a good breakfast with vegetarian options served by a friendly waitress. All in, an enjoyable stay in a nice location. The staff were all trying very hard to be professional, the food was good and accommodation a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend the Gazelle Hotel as a good place to stay on Anglesey.

Bedroom and bathroom windows could do with better blinds to provide more privacy. The room felt very open, light and somewhat exposed.

- easy free parking - very comfy bed - THE VIEW 11/10 - nicely decorated and clean - incredible location on the Menai Strait - beach access and a pub/Restaurant below - easy quick drive to Snowdon Ranger path (25 min) and Beaumaris (8 mins) - lovely outdoor areas to sit at the pub

- I think our room was above a boiler or generator as occasionally we would hear a loud rumbling sound. Luckily it didn't affect us too much but can imagine some people it might. - could use a helpful sign to remind people that you have to turn the power shower on as you could easily miss it

The hotel is perfect. Everything went just as planned, very easy to find. Chris (I think the owner/manager) was there on reception when we arrived. Our rooms were perfect, very nicely decorated and homely. The place was very warm with radiators on and all preheated for us and very cosy. We were given two rooms for our family as when we booked the 'family room' we didn't realise that option in most hotels is better suited to younger children (ours are 12 and 15) as sofa beds are often used therefore we were given an upgrade into two rooms (we split into Mum and daughter and Dad and lad) which helped a lot and made our stay even more comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and tasty. Location is fantastic even though we travelled in February and obviously not the best weather conditions to admire the great views! Honestly can't fault this lovely hotel and have every intention of returning. We have recommenced this as a place to stay to all our friends and family.

Everything was perfect.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a young man who made us feel very welcome and at home and he carried our cases to our room. The location was amazing with a lovely view over the Menai Straits to the Welsh mountains from our very comfortable room. There was an excellent selection of food which was really well cooked. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional throughout our stay.

Possibly a better selection of serials and fruit at breakfast, but this by no means detracted from the quality of the breakfast food.

Fab location this is my second stay here. Love the fact that they have annex accommodation were you can stay with your pet. Food good and accommodation clean and tidy. Overall a very good stay and will definitely be booking again for next year. Just a little extra info, if travelling by car there are two carparks, one above hotel which means a walk down a lot of stairs or there is one down the front of hotel which would be a lot better if you are a blue badge holder as its easier access.

Could do with a bit more organisation/training in bar area as some staff were struggling when it come to serving customers and staff where not cleaning bar area of dirty glasses. Could do with putting blackout curtains in annex rooms if possible as room very light during the night.

amazing views set out of hotel is lovely staff welcoming and very friendly Food expensive but very nice

The mattress needed re springing For the price it would have been nice to have biscuits and a bottle of water Breakfast no cereal or fruit or menu Outside the hotel sign needs to be lit up to give it a touch of spectacular and flowers in the pots and baskets These little touches would make it perfect and are provided to support constructive feedback as it is truly and an amazing location and lovely hotel
