clean and excellent location

shower water was not warm

Great location, friendly and professional staff (Fidel) and the spa services were fantastic. I loved that Nobu restaurant was accessible from the guest room elevators.

Check in was not as smooth as I would have preferred, however the front desk was very accommodating with storing luggage and arranging a room when the original one I booked was unavailable for certain reasons. The breakfast room is not that aesthetically pleasing, it feels slightly confined and not as luxurious as you might expect for COMO. However hotels in London are generally limited with space so it was to be expected somehow.

Modern, minimalist, Japanese-style design. Nobu restaurant on site, great for a quick bite at the sushi bar in the back of the restaurant (resist the restaurant staff will always try to convince you to take a table). Very helpful hotel staff. Convenient West End location.

Only minor points. London plumbing: it takes a (very) long time for the shower to warm up, especially if you are one of the first in the hotel to take one in the morning (take this into account when putting your alarm clock for an early meeting). Pay extra for a room with the (great) park view, the side view is not very pretty.

The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The manager was always trying to make your stay pleasurable, which made me feel very safe and comfortable. Location was great and room service food was excellent.

The hotel lobby and facilities were extremely basic for what I had paid. The lobby is small and unimpressive as was my room however upon check out I learned that there were much nicer and more spacious rooms and I found a breakfast area I didn’t know about, so I may go back again and try it again Also the bar area was never opened but Nobu is on premises which was nice.

I have booked the room for the day before my arrival so that I could come in after my overnight flight and get some sleep. To my surprise, my room had a small breakfast tray with two different juices and an assortment of pastries. What a welcome after a long flight! Throughout the entire stay, the staff was courteous and helpful. I had a wonderful dinner by myself at Nobu. I had stayed at the Metropolitan several years ago, and it was my “Goto” hotel at the time. For some reason, I changed to the Intercontinental nearby. After this last stay, I will be back to the Metropolitan.

Pre check in and when we arrived was efficient and very friendly - always asking if there was anything else we could do. It was a really nice touch to be shown to the room as so often you get your key card and have to make your own way. Breakfast quality was incredible - poached eggs were by far the best I've ever had. Great start to our morning.

Nothing - it was truly great and no reason to not want to stay there again

The hotel‘s location is excellent. Central but still far enough away from larger streets/traffic offering calm from vibrant London. Staff is super friendly and the front desk manager Veruschka Cimino welcoming us as repeat guest has been a very nice gesture. Nobu restaurant in the 1st floor is outstanding.

Breakfast was amazing. Overall, it's a really lovely hotel in a superb location. It is easy to reach so many places in Central London.

When I booked the hotel, I price was £318 but was charged £400 and at breakfast, I would have loved to know the water was going to be charged. It's not much but a matter of principle for transparency.
