restaurant was fully booked , I would expect a table for dinner since we were paying £1000 per night only to be told we would have to order in the bar from the bar menu,

Staff incredible, room incredible just an amazing experience

To be honest I was expecting to have tea and coffe in the room, I didn’t mind paying extra but when you pay £1300 for a room I expected to at least have a cup of team and coffee

The rooms are a stunning example of early 20th century interior design, they really are beautiful, but it’s all about the service at the Ritz, you are genuinely treated like the most important person in the hotel, regardless of who you are, it’s exceptional. Yes it is very expensive but you really do get what you pay for.

The only down side and it really is the only thing, is the road noise, it’s really down to the windows not being double glazed due to the age of the building. You do get used to the road noise, but you can’t stop people using their car, lorry, bus horns……incessantly!

We stayed for two nights, dinner and dance. Food, music, dancer’s, ambiance and staff were all incredible. A weekend we will never forget. We also had tea at the Ritz the day we were leaving. The staff allowed us to keep our room until 3pm for our convenience. We were also able to check in as soon as we arrived around 11.45. The staff are all so friendly and can’t do enough for you.

You can’t improve on perfection!!

The staff were beyond exceptional. The Ritz has a high standard, but it seems to exceed its own levels of exceptional service. From the minute we stepped out of the taxi we were greeted with smiles and courtesy. The check in process was flawless, friendly and very welcoming. The concierge had made reservations at our request that we needed to amend and they did so seemingly effortlessly and yet we know that it could only have been done with their professionalism and excellent knowledge. The restaurant reservation that was made for us was at a perfect venue to celebrate the occasion we were having. Our room was beautiful and perfect - very spacious and the cake placed in our room to celebrate a special birthday was an unexpected, wonderful gift. Small touches such as tiding up the electrical cables of our phones and laptops with small clips are highly appreciated gestures that only and exceptional hotel such as the Ritz does.

The gym needs some attention and is not befitting the stature of the hotel.

Location is excellent Breakfast was excellent and service impeccable in the dining room. we did not have dinner nor afternoon tea here.

promised king size bed but it wasn’t…. we changed rooms after first night. They did accommodate this but not fun to have to pack up and change rooms. water was shut off during the night for service. we did not learn of this until after check in when we arrived in our room. I understand work may need doing but they could have told us ahead of time, or at least in person at check in and not in a note left in our room. Door staff were a bit unnerving in their intensity to dissuade visitors from wearing “trainers” or athletic shoes in the main lobby and eating areas. I observed this was not implemented equally by guests violating the rule. I complied, understanding this was an expectation, but was amused by the focus on this by staff.

Rooms were stunning and the beds super comfortable. Robes and sleepers in the rooms for the stay. So clean, just stunning. The Rivoli Bar was perfect, the jazz playing in the background the food was delicious, had the best Ritz Club Sandwich I would definitely recommend people get that. Lovely cocktails as well. Overall the staff are super friendly all across the hotel, from the 1st greeting until departure.

Not applicable liked everything about the hotel itself. Granted it was hard understanding waiters during the event night we attend in the resteraunt in the evning on the Saturday but that was a combination of the music and the masks.

All the staff gave first glass very friendly and helpful service The surroundings were magnificent and the Christmas decorations beautiful We had a superb stay to celebrate my 80th birthday . it was on my special wish list for a long time and very happy with the whole experience Many thanks to all your staff and very best wishes for the festive season

May be a clock in the bedroom ,and some kind of low night light for the bathroom .
