The Resident Victoria

The room was clean, the small kitchenette was perfect. Drinks for us chilled, microwave, coffee, tea. We had a few bottles of wine we brought in which worked great with kitchenette having wine glasses. There was not a view, as the bed backed up to the window, however we had a room adjusted to fit a pull out bed, so for us it was perfect! Beds very comfortable and pillows/linens very nice. It was nice and quiet and the staff were extremely helpful. Air conditioning worked great! We were able to walk or taxi anywhere very quickly. I would definitely return and/or recommend!

No real negatives I can think of. The towels may have been a little scratchy??? but really I have no complaints. A little dish soap would have been nice to have.

Excellent location, just a short walk from Victoria Station and just behind Buckingham Palace. 15-20 mins walk from the Westminster area and attractions like Churchill’s War Room. Convenient and comfortable for a one-night stay, with plenty of food and grocery store options in the area.

Ok for a short stay, but there was no soap in either the basin or shower dispensers!

The location of this hotel was amazing, just around the corner from Buckingham Palace. It is off the busy street, so very quiet considering the central location. Our room size was small, but there was plenty of space for the two of us, and they had a great kitchenette. We especially liked the closet for some extra storage. Plenty of USB chargers near the bed and on the desk for all our travel accessories. Additionally, we stayed over Christmas, and the staff was lovely- we even received a little stocking on our door!

The shower leaked out from the glass door on to the floor, not sure if the drain was just slow and it overflowed, or it was a design issue. Nothing a few towels couldn't mop up. Also, only snacks were listed on the menu for room service, so do not plan on any meals here. Good beer/wine selection.

One of the best experiences in London. Very central location. And we are so lucky to meet a wonderful receptionist and his name is Jason. He helped us to upgrade not once but twice the room. So we were going from regular room to a bigger one, and again, an even bigger one and he is super friendly and amazing. The room is Great, internet is fine and the size of the room is so big considering here is central London. We had a wonderful stay and the service is super nice.

Can be slightly chill during winter time but in generally wonderful.

The location is amazing! The Victoria Underground station is literally right around the corner. While it's not a resort, it's super clean and the room was comfy. We stayed in the smaller room which reminded us of some of the hotels we stayed in during a trip to Scandinavia, small but nice. The added mini kitchenette was extremely helpful, not to mention the coffee and tea in the room was superb. It's definitely a really good value, especially for the location.

My only compliant was the slippery shower. We didn't realize we needed to get a rubber bath mat from the front desk, but we know that was partially our own fault.

The location, right next to Buckingham Palace and Victoria Station was perfect for a first time traveler to London. easy access to sightseeing and to the train for work as well. The staff were amazing. They were so helpful with everything from getting us a bucket of ice every night (American traveler problems), accepting our lost luggage from the airline courier and taking it straight to our room, offering tons of recommendations about food and activities in the area, and even storing our bags during our quick overnight trip to Paris. I loved this location and the staff especially, and I can’t say enough nice things about the experience.

Excellent location and very friendly staff. They are available 24 hours a day and really help with everything they can. Very clean and modern hotel. You are almost at the perimeter wall of Buckingham Palace, and many top attractions are within walking distance. Room was clean and very nice. Certainly lived up to my generally high expectations.

There was absolutely nothing I did not like, and it is in the nature of London that real estate is at a premium, so I did not expect a large room. The room was spacious enough for my family of three, but a bit larger would have been nice. It is a smaller hotel, so there was no full food service. There are snacks and drinks I believe you can order. But it being in a great spot, all is within short distance. We had excellent breakfast just near Victoria station.

The location was awesome - convenient to many of the things we wanted to do but tucked in a side street so it was nice and quiet. The room was small but had everything we needed and it was clean. Daily housekeeping was perfect. All of our interactions with the staff were positive, helpful and upbeat. The one room issue we had - caused by the previous guest - was immediately fixed by the staff.

A restaurant on site would have been nice but the tea/coffee in the room and the little snack bar round the corner was perfect for breakfast.

Large room, comfortable kitchenette, king bed, nice size bathroom with all the amenities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Full daily maid service.
