The Goring

The hotel was stunning, really luxurious without feeling pretentious. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect, and even remembered our names. The concierge were really helpful to assist with making plans. The location of the hotel is perfect - we walked to the palace, it was close to nice food places, and for everything else we hopped onto the tube at Victoria which was 5 mins away. It was just me and my 4 year old son so it made a huge difference having a welcoming and helpful team look after you. We had room service breakfast which whilst wasn't cheap, was exceptional and we loved eating in our robes. We loved our experience at The Goring thank you!

The welcome to the departure the staff are attentive to your needs. They room was small but decorated lovely and very clean. The bar is lively and the drinks were great served with lots of recommendations. The breakfast is superb in a tranquil atmosphere. I have had lunch there numerous times which is wonderful, let to try dinner but will be back before Christmas to try the Michelin star food!@

Nothing! The stay could not been better as it was my partners birthday weekend. We were given complimentary drinks and a whole bottle of champagne in the room which was a lovely gesture.

Superb service, excellent care and attention paid throughout stay; warm, welcoming and caring. An oasis of calm, kindness and refinement in the heart of London. The Dining room served superb food and wine, presented and cooked to perfection.

The hotel is flawless. Enjoyed everything about it the bar, the dining room, restaurant, the tea room, and especially the bedroom with the turndown service. Was a delight, returning to the room at night to have the classical music playing with a Goring sheep on my bed.

From the greeting at the door onwards was fabulous. Staff were very attentive. Food delicious. The only thing was the price on booking. Com was less than the actual price which was rather embarrassing. Booking.com need to be more transparent.

Everything was perfect. Not keen on the light fittings in the dining room! Beautiful in their own right but not in keeping with the classical architecture & decor 😊

The staff at the Goring are excellent in meeting the needs of guest, they make you feel welcomed. They offer you individual attention and make you feel very special. The food was wonderful breakfast was excellent and always tasty. Our room was spacious and kept beautifully clean. There was a turn down service and the bedroom was clean and prepared for us each evening. In our opinion the staff make the hotel one that is exceptional. They were willing to go above and beyond to help the guest to enjoy their stay!

The hotel’s heritage and savoir-faire. The service, the breakfast and the cocktail bar were impressive. The beds, the linen, and the amenities were as luxurious as one would expect for such an establishment.

The only niggle would be the inability to procure our room for an extra hour late check-out as we were traveling late in the evening and needed to change attire. We were offered a disabled cloakroom to change in which wasn’t the most comfortable of experiences.

The best breakfast in London. I asked for kidneys with my breakfast and this was sorted straight away. I asked the same question one breakfast at The Ritz, and was told that i should have pre ordered them 2 days before arriving, in other words they could not be bothered asking the kitchen staff. Staff always asking if anything else was required.

Nothing. Helpful and attentive staff. Old school attention to detail. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

We had a wonderful stay at The Goring during the Jubilee celebrations. The happy atmosphere and cheery staff really helped the joyous occasion. We just had a light breakfast as we were keen to get on with the day, but the lobster omelette for dinner the night before is to be highly recommended. Watching the fly past from the beauty of the garden made this an unforgettable stay.
