Mode Hotel St Annes

The room met the needs of myself and my brother. The staff were helpful and friendly, the continental breakfast was great and the location was superb. It was a great distance between the high street and the beach.

The lift was very slow moving and more often than not we would take the stairs, which wasn't always ideal as we were on the third floor so if we forgot something or needed to go back for the toilet it was quite a trek. Also, time slots for breakfast would have been better than just coming whenever as there was the risk of not having a table available in the breakfast room.

Very nice room, good size with a chair and desk. Very comfortable mattress. Staff were very friendly.

A cooked breakfast/buffet would have been better. The shower had very little pressure and the grouting had some mould.

The breakfast was a continental one which we knew before we went. We stayed 4 days and to be honest it got a bit repetitive. Everything was fresh and well stocked but we missed a good old English breakfast. Our room was comfortable and clean. The shower tiles did have some black mould at the bottom near the shower tray. We had a sea view room with a tiny balcony which only had enough room for one chair. Luckily the weather wasn’t great so need need for us to both sit outside. I think you can book super deluxe sea view rooms which prob would be better due to a larger balcony.

The bathroom needs upgrading

The hotel is right on the seafront near the centre of town. very modern reception/bar area. Lovely clean room and bathroom. Staff were very pleasant. Easy checkin/checkout. Continental breakfast had a decent choice and everything was nice and fresh.

Quite a lot of noise from the doors that lead on to the room balcony. It was very windy in the night and the wind literally whistled through the doors. The hotel obviously can’t control the weather but if you’re a light sleeper perhaps don’t get a sea facing balcony room. Beautiful when the weather is good though I’m sure. Would have liked a choice of a cooked breakfast, even if an extra charge. Parking a bit tight.

Fairly new and well appointed. Excellent location convenient to the beach, town, eateries and all facilities. Has its own car park. Comfortable and clean room with a sea view. Well stocked tea and coffee tray which was topped up daily. All staff very helpful and friendly. An enjoyable first visit to Lytham St Anne’s which has a good mix of shops, places to eat and is generally well set up to accommodate visitors. Miles of well maintained paths for the gentle stroll or the more serious walker.

No Zero alcohol beer or cider available in the bar. Most of the town closed on a Monday but that is not the fault of the hotel.

Good location, clean and comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff. Parking was good and we were able to park prior to check-in. Continental breakfast suited us fine but there was no cooked breakfast available (we may not have checked this when booking). Check if it's important to you!

Minor points but no fresh fruit salad on the Monday morning! No staffing Sunday night made access an issue as we had not been advised in advance about our key use for the front door but easily resolved with a phone call (a simple oversight in the morning!)

Staff very friendly and helpful. Perfect location. Breakfast was very nice. Continental breakfast had lots of choice and all fresh and nicely presented. Rooms were very comfortable and clean.

Not enough disabled parking (1 space) and not easy to reverse out with a large car parked next to us. Would be easier to reverse into the car park space but then couldn't get the mobility scooter out. There was however plenty of on street parking. So not a big issue.

We were expecting a lovely experience having read about the hotel and we were not disapointed. The Mode Hotel is situated on a prime spot along the prom and is pleasant to the eye on arrival. We had no problem with parking on site although there is limited spaces. There are more roadside parking just across from the hotel. The hotel was very clean and staff pleasant and helpful. A continental breakfast was included and a good variety of options made available. The bed was very comfortable with nice quality bedding. Bath robes, slippers, hairdrier, nespresso machine. Tea, coffee and biscuits all supplied. Also hand and body wash and shampoo with a great shower. Rooms were refreshed daily. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay and would recommend The Mode. Thanks to The Mode and staff.

Personally there were no dislikes or complaints.

Been there before & booked a Delux room with sea view this time! view good (L&R). Heating easily controllable as was shower. Bed very comfortable & pillows fine. All staff friendly, professional & helpful.

Room smaller than expected & wardrobe to bed gap was a bit risky (didn’t bang anything but risk there). We were on 2nd floor & view directly in front of us was of the cinema, YMCA indoor baths, a Toby Carvery & a Turkish restaurant. Still as said if we looked L we could see Lytham, Ribble & Alt estuary & too R could see the pier. So overall good

Comfy bed, proper wardrobe and chest of drawers and good lighting and a good size TV. Our view was not the best and not much natural light so the room was quite dark - last visit here we had sea view but this room was quiet and comfortable. We had only booked last minute for a one night break and we left happy overall. Breakfast is buffet style and there was a good choice and it is served in a nice relaxing dining room with good service for hot drinks.We got a parking space which was a bonus. Location is perfect and central to everything. All staff we encountered were excellent and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. We like the fact that pets are not allowed at the Mode.
