Great location. Modern room and bathroom. Large bed and hallways smart and clean. Bar staff friendly and provide a great service. We hit happy hour at the bar which made drinks really reasonable. Also there is a decent sitting out area.

First impressions could have been better. Welcome wasn’t great. Entrance lacked a bit of tlc. I had been told there was parking which was very misleading. There were 3 parking spaces for the entire hotel so not really. Noticed some older people struggling to get their luggage up to the second floor. This wasn’t a problem for us but something for people to be aware of.

The location of the property was ideal for the event at the Lowther Pavilion, the promenade and the town centre. The bar and food we enjoyed at the hotel and the room was very comfortable. It met our requirements for a one night stay.

I asked a question (through booking.com) about car parking near the hotel (as they don't have parking) and we didn't get a response. As it turned out on the day of our arrival there was a "Vintage Car rally on the promenade" and we couldn't get parked anywhere along the promenade or near the hotel and ended up leaving the car about half a mile away from the hotel near the park (if you didn't want to move it every 2 hours). It would have been helpful to have known this and a suitable location in advance as we drove around for 30 minutes looking for somewhere. We noticed on the day of our departure (after the car event had finished) that there was now available parking on the promenade.

The hotel is really well located for the bars & restaurants in Lytham (not St Annes!). 2 minute walk, if that, to the bars / high street which is fab. Rooms are modern and adequate for a short stay (lack of storage if you were staying for more than 1/2 nights maybe). We got a really good rate - less than £70 for one night. Have eaten in the pub downstairs before and it was good value for money, though we didn't bother with breakfast this time around. Easy check in/out & separate entrance for hotel patrons is handy. Bathroom was modern and spacious :) thanks.

Have stayed here a few times and don’t think we’ve ever managed to get a parking space as there’s only around 5/6 spots, but not really an issue as there’s street parking on the roads behind - just something to be aware of. People letting their room door slam behind them is a bit annoying especially in the middle of the night but not the hotels fault, just shut your door gently - especially if it's early morning/late at night! The rooms can be either double/twin but whenever they’re set to a twin (at least this room), one of the beds always seems to mean you’ve got the lampshade (that’s at head height) over your bed, same with the plug socket - it’s literally where the pillow goes, so can be a bit annoying - minor inconvenience though!

Spacious, clean room with enormous comfortable bed! Very modern bathroom with excellent shower facilities. Friendly staff. Excellent location. The breakfast was great value. We opted for the small Irish which was more that sufficient & tea/coffee/orange juice all thrown in for the price. Couldn't fault it. We were only using the room as a base for visiting family nearby.

The room was a bit stuffy (but it was extreme weather, so couldn't be helped). Only one of the 3 windows opened a few inches which was understandable for safety reasons, but would have been nice to have the option for more air in the room. A fan was provided but it didn't make much difference.

The hotel was really convenient for all the local amenities-beach, walks, parks, town centre etc, and although we arrived on a busy Sunday afternoon, it was easy to find somewhere to park. I had phoned the hotel a few days prior to our stay as my husband had recently had heart surgery, so I wanted to ask about a room closest to stairs and reception. After speaking to Craig, I'm delighted to say that the room we were given was perfect! The room itself was lovely, avery good size, nicely decorated with a good sized bathroom and great walk-in shower. We ate in the bar area, very busy because the football was on tv, (lots of screens so that viewing was easy) but our neal was served in a really good time. We chose a selection of tapas dishes which were very tasty, they are large sizes, so we couldn't eat them all unfortunately.

A choice of milk in the room-only whole milk. I forgot to ask about any different milk, I'm sure there was some semi skimmed somewhere.

On arrival we were able to park easily and checked into room with very friendly staff. Our room was quite spacious with enough wall mounted hangers to hang clothes for a 1-2 night stay. Shower was good and bathroom very clean. The bed was prob a king size or King size +( seemed large) and very comfortable making for a good nights sleep. I particularly liked the key fob system ( very easy to use ) to access the bedrooms/ staircases making it feel very secure and safe. Didn't try the food as we ate out.

Nothing to report

Superb location, everything we needed was a few minutes walk away. Nice shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby. The hotel was clean, our room was very spacious, warm and had a modern bathroom with a great shower. The hotel staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.

There was only one window that opened. A little tricky to open and close as they're old so it needed two of us! There could also be more storage for clothing as there were only a few hangers.

Great breakfast, although it’s better value booking room only and paying for breakfast separately. Good location for Lowther Pavillion events and central for shops and restaurants. A special mention for Chris on reception who was extremely helpful when I requested a room change.

The bathrooms have been really well modernised however the shower tile groutings need a good scrub because of the pink mould. Despite reserving a superior room with sitting area we were initially allocated a room that had a sloping ceiling which meant that my husband and I couldn’t use the area by the window and where the tea and coffee were situated. The staff rectified this as soon as I asked for another.

Breakfast was cooked fresh for you and was excellent. Room was basic, but clean and adequate for a short stay. Location was ideal. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was plentiful and well prepared, though pub grub.

More vegetables with meals. Shower floor was very slippery. Shower soap dispenser was fitted 8 feet up in the shower. With wet hands you could not adjust the shower temperature control, far too stiff
