Everything was just what we wanted for a last minute night away. From the staff and room and food to the location and views from the room. Just perfect. Will definitely return.

Location was excellent. Breakfast was great

The nearby carparks were full so we had to park a 5 minute walk away. OK for us but not good if any of your party have mobility issues.

The room was excellent with four poster bed and view of the green and beyond, the estuary. Staff very friendly. Food in pub excellent. Excellent menu choice not your normal pub food. Breakfast excellent. Hotel In good location, lots of independent cafes and mix of shops and places to eat.

The hall carpets were stained looking and it looked like they had tried cleaning them patchily. In the morning we were relaxing in our room and there was a lot of noise and banging outside of door and when we left the room to check out there was a big industrial cleaner and pipes going down the stairs which we had to navigate with suitcases. No one warned us this would happen outside our door or talked to us to make sure we could safely get down stairs. It would have been better for them to clean it after customers had checked out at 10.30and before next one's arrived at 3pm maybe. . It would have been nice to have been warned about it but this was only fault.

Breakfast was excellent with a huge variety, in fact one of the best we have ever had. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hotel was located on the front and a very short walk to the town centre.

There was no lift. I appreciate that it is an old building and there is probably no room to put a lift inbut it wasn't stated on Booking.com. We had an elderly lady with us and this did cause her a little distress getting up and down the one floor of stairs. Had we known there was no lift we probably would not have booked this hotel.

Beautiful room, bathroom really nice, lovely big towels and a beautiful view. Plenty of storage. We ate dinner which didnt disappoint, brilliant service, beautiful fresh food. ( unlike breakfast)

didn't sleep, creeky bed. Not the best mattress or pillows. Breakfast not good, ordered a muffin stated chilli jam, bacon, American cheese and chilly but came with bacon with the raw fat on, no,no fir me no philly and jam with green chillies not what was expected so didnt bother to go down to breakfast the next day. We booked at the queens as stayed in lytham previously and ate breakfast which was amazing American pancakes which was not on the menu this time ( shame )

Perfect stay, lovely hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. The room was very comfortable, we had a sea view and four poster bed which was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and modern with a very nice powerful shower over a nice bath. The hotel is well located for all local attractions and easy walk to bars, restaurants, shops etc.

This is not the hotels fault….we arrived on a lovely sunny day which made the area quite busy so parking was not easy, the 2 car parks opposite the hotel were both full, so we ended up having to park about half a mile away and move the car later which was inconvenient but not a disaster, just be aware .

We booked the family room. And it is really spacious. It can accommodate a family of four. Room was really clean as were the beds and linen. Breakfast was really great with vegetarian and vegan options. These two options, that we tried, are really great and make for a nutritious and rather filling breakfast. We requested additional water bottles etc. that the manager was happy to drop off at our room. Dinner at the pub downstairs was again fabulous...very tasty and flavourful. Overall a great stay.

Few issues with the room which most were rectified eventually but they were things that should have really been checked beforehand Double glazing was blown - room was tiny and dressing table needed a stool rather than the huge heavy armchair which was far too big for the dressing table far too low as you were unable to see in the mirror !

The cooked breakfast was very nice and staff were really friendly . the location was excellent , you could leave your car and use public transport if you wanted to go further a field . The room was very quiet even though The Queens hotel is a very busy pub and restaurant .

The shower was ok for us but if you are of a larger size , you would have struggled to get in . If you only wanted a continental breakfast there was only cereals and fruit …no pastries ?
