Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Gaydon Hotel. Keith and Kate were amazing hosts that just couldn't do enough for us - if you wanted details on where to eat, where to go and what to do the Keith is better than the "tourist information"...he is the tourist information.! The hotel is literally minutes away from the beach and the promenade - a perfect location, and a good reason to get out and enjoy a walk round the area. The room we had (room 2) was a nice big size and was was absolutely spotless as was the nice large shower room. The room had a lovely big and amazingly comfortable bed , along with everything you needed for coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Even a hot water bottle was provided (but this time not needed) - the rooms were nice and warm. Breakfast was another wow factor - good choices / options, but we went for the Full English. .. like everything else this was perfect - perfectly cooked, perfectly present and totally delicious - thank you Kate. Even the coffee was perfect! My wife even followed breakfast with a home made muffin with honey..again delicious. The whole experience was totally faultless - we can't recommend the Gaydon Hotel highly enough.

Nothing - Everything was faultless, a perfect stay

The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was amazing, the best omelette I’ve ever had- just delicious! They even made my little girl smiley pancakes which she loved. They gave a complimentary glass of sherry every evening which I thought was. Lovely touch. The bedrooms were beautiful and the beds comfortable. They even had fans in all the bedrooms in case it was warm.

The shower went hot and cold but this wasn’t really a big issue. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and fully functional. The bedrooms in our suite ( two bedrooms, one bathroom) didn’t have a door, it would have been better to have had a folding door or something for privacy.

We stayed at The Gaydon for a couple of nights for the Lytham Music festival. It's ideally located for trips to Blackpool and Lytham St Anne's. Parking was on the road (with very limited first come first served on the drive) but there was plenty of space. Our room at the top of the house, was comfortable with good bed, tea and coffee making facility and small ensuite. The only thing to be aware of in this room is that it takes a while for the shower to warm up, otherwise it was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. The breakfast room is decorated in some lovely local art. All in all we had a lovely time. Thanks Keith and Kate.

What an outstanding B&B! Keith and Kate are excellent hosts and seem to have thought about every small detail, when appointing the Gaydon. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The large bed was very comfortable. A binder detailing local attractions, restaurants, etc was a nice touch. The freshly cooked breakfasts were delicious. Big thumbs up for the availability of vegetarian and gluten-free options and attentiveness to food allergies. The free glass of sherry each evening was a nice bonus. Just a lovely place to stay and highly recommended

The only room for improvement that I can think of would be a stronger wifi signal. We had no problems connecting our phones in our room, but neither of us could connect our laptops

What a beautiful place to stay and not just St Anne's... The Gaydon was just lovely! Spotlessly clean, beautiful room, Keith & Kate even went to the trouble of putting up a happy anniversary banner and left us a mini bottle of prosecco with a lovely note, so thoughtful of them. Communication before hand was fab after I asked for local restuarant suggestions and also let us leave our bikes safely in their courtyard at the back. Nothing was too much trouble. Sherry left out at 5pm to help yourself to, beautiful breakfast with lots of choice, and such a lovely friendly couple.

Location was easy to reach, allowed me to walk along the beach ( 2 mins walk down the road). Parking was easy. Keith & Kate are superb hosts; very welcoming, friendly and interesting! Also, their recommendation for the local Italian restaurant was a fantastic surprise. the food there is exceptional: cordon bleu coming to Sardinia! The local taxi service was also exceptional, as I relied on them to ferry m to & from a wedding. The Gaydon provides a warm, personal welcome, fantastic breakfasts, comfortable, clean rooms and is a place I hope to re-visit for a longer stay in the not-too-distant future. I hope to get to know Keith & Kate better as they are a fascinating, lovely couple.

That I could not stay longer.

This really is a very special place to stay. Keith and Kate are the perfect hosts....friendly, attentive and funny, but not intrusive at all. They have thought of everything.....the information folder in the room is so informative....never known anything like it! The Breakfast is amazing and I loved the Cafetiere coffee.....and the warm muffin with honey and cinnamon mmmmmm. We will certainly be back again......Thanks for a wonderful stay.

This doesn't apply!!

The reception and friendliness of our hosts Keith and Kate made us feel really at home and they were so helpful, wanting us to get the very best experience of our short break. We had good breakfasts with plenty of quality options available giving us lots of energy for the day’s exploring. We must add that the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms were all exceptional. We are so impressed and will hope to return soon. We’ll be telling our family and friends about the little gem of a B&B in a wonderful area.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

The property is fabulous as was my room. comfortable with deep pile carpet and central heating. firm comfortable bed and fresh linen and towels. Tea and Coffee on the room and a writing desk (which I needed). strong wifi and a television. lamp had multiple charging USB’s. This property deserves 10/10. Hosts were fantastic and I was busy on the computer in the day, night flying at Blackpool come dusk. Hosts were there when needed but I was I disturbed otherwise. Breakfast choice outstanding and the full English is the best I’ve ever had. 2 minute walk to the beach. 5 mins to a Toby pub with carvery. 3 miles to Starr Gate for trams etc and 3 miles to Blackpool airport. very genuinely; the best guest house / hotel I’ve stayed in.

Nothing - it was excellent

Brilliant welcome and made to feel very much at home. Excellent breakfast and Keith and Kate couldn't do enough for us. They provided great information about the area and even watered the plants, I bought!

The front room was really warm on day one, due to the direct sunshine, but a fan was supplied and it did eventually cool down on day two. This was outwith their control but we found it hard to deal with such heat, as only two small windows opened. It definitely, didn't spoil our stay.
