Staff were charming. Lovely welcome from Rose who remained very helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to Tracy who provided us with a packed lunch for our long train journey home to West Sussex. Room & bed were comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. Breakfast was a substantial array of a help yourself buffet in the dining room. We also ate there on our arrival in the evening and the food was good & served quickly. We also thoroughly enjoyed the live music on offer! Good location for station, 10 minute walk. If you are traveling by car they have a private car park which, I think, is free of charge.

Somewhat overwhelming aroma of air freshener when we entered our room, had to open the windows to clear the air a bit. Obviously there was traffic noise which is to be expected as the Pub is on the main road through Market Rasen, no real problem though.

The room was a good basic B&B, with big comfy bed, good bathroom, and a nice touch with complimentarty toiletries. They were unable to offer cooked breakfast but there was a good range of cereals, pastries, cheese & ham as well as toast and limitless tea/coffee etc. Everything was help yourself buffet style but cheerfully overseen by a helpful member of staff. The White Swan is well located in the HIgh Street so there are several places to eat in the evening.

A bedside table with light on both sides of the bed would have been good.

The staff were friendly, the food was nice, the property is really clean.

Unfortunately we were lead to believe breakfast was available, as it had been previously and was advertised when we booked. But on the day we arrived we enquired what time it was available from, to be told it had been discontinued, but they hadn't updated the websites.

The size of the room was amazing for one person . The room was clean as was the en-suite. Also the bed was very comfortable too. The staff were very helpful and listened to our comments about breakfast , the service from the staff was very good as was the food we had on Saturday night and Sunday breakfast.

On Saturday morning there was no chef so we ended up with a bag of food which would have been more suited to a child . Also on the same morning the jukebox decided to turn itself on from 6-7.30 am disturbing my sleep and all who was staying there.

Fabulous accommodation above busy pub, serving food on premises. Lovely room and bathroom, very clean, all facilities as promised, very clean and very comfortable bed. Welcoming and friendly staff, great continental breakfast. Private and secure entrance when pub is closed. Would definitely stay again.

It didn't bother me at all, but on a busy little road so a bit of traffic noise at times.

Comfy beds, very clean rooms. Staff are very friendly and polite. Location was very good for us. No car park for customers anymore but John Street car park is basicly £2 per day (over 6 hours) and free for the first 2 hours (free on sundays and bank holidays) so pretty reasonable

Unfortunately our room had a string of what looked like Christmas lights dangling at the top of the window, when dark they came on and flashed and lit the ceiling up like an ambulance was outside.

The bed was extremely comfortable, slept really well! Just what I needed after a long day travelling. The staff were very friendly! Loved the option of breakfasts, as I left early they prepared one for me and left it outside my room in the morning which had a lovely crispy croissant!

Clean, comfortable room.monday to Friday very pleasant , helpful staff.the lady at work Tuesday morning to Friday morning is very nice,and friendly,and helpful.

Continental breakfast.(what happened to the good full English breakfast).so disappointing. Always enjoyed breakfast,not this time.

Room clean and cosy food in the dining room was exceptional for the price point had live music a good range of drinks available

Unfortunately the breakfast served in the sister hotel wasn't a patch on white swan, teapot dirty and stained not informed continental breakfast had items unavailable until delivered to table given cornflakes instead of croissants and meats.

I came for the races and it is a perfect location for a short walk to the course. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. For the price too it is a perfect stay.
