The room was spacious and very comfortable and clean . The hotel had its own car park and its location is in the town close to the shops and bars etc.

I stayed in room 4, this room is above the bar. I had been driving/working for many hours and after a meal at a local bistro I decided to have an early night. A disco below my room started playing in the early part of the evening, despite this irritation I managed to sleep until about 9:30 when I was woken by a live band below which played until very late. It was so loud, later that day I was working at the local race circuit so I had a decibel counter with me which measured 87dB, I could not sleep. Sorry, this was just not acceptable, this room should not be let during music evenings.

Great central location, bed was really comfortable, staff member booking in was extremely polite and helpful. And it's a pub..... We've been to Louth for a visit in the daytime and couldn't help but notice the amount of pubs there. We decided to stay the night and explore a bit more and had a fantastic time. Didn't even manage to visit all the pubs but one we missed was a spoons so didn't miss much there.

The hotel had a small car park which was unfortunately full so had to park in the council car park round the corner. Couldn't put a ticket on the car longer than 4 hours so had to get up at 7.30 just to put a new ticket on the car. When this was my only complaint and it had nothing to do with the hotel really, it must have been a good place to stay.

Great location in Louth, really friendly staff. Did not have breakfast, booked room only.

Quite noisy, but then it is a lovely bar so I probably should have done my research a bit better. Sadly, the en-suite could really do with a good clean. Tap was covered in scum and dirt, there were cobwebs over the window and the windows were dirty plus a wad of toilet paper wedged into the corner by the toilet. Really let the rest of the room down ☹️

The Pack Horse is centrally located with some lovely places to eat close by, beds are comfortable, the rooms spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We stayed at a weekend and there was karaoke until midnight which was loud but absolutely expected given we were staying above a pub. Great to join the locals but may not be for people wanting an early night. Once midnight came the music stopped. Good value for money and would definitely stay again.

We were a part of the noise and we had an absolutely great time. Downfalls are no breakfast or food served at all. They do supply a food delivery number so have no problem with you eating in the room. In addition, there are plenty of eateries about including a bakery across the road that done a lovely breakfast. We wanted to stay in Mablethorpe but could not find anywhere. This will definitely be our choice if that happens again.

The room was very good with comfy beds and good price, staff were very helpful and separate entrance was good. Location was very good.

Some noise from the pub below but that is what we were expecting. We had the television on so did not affect us. Perhaps a larger television would have been nice.

Comfy bed, plenty of tea and coffee, location. Would return but possibly try a different room.

Noise level- was expected as room is above the pub & a weekend, would advise if you're looking at getting an early night avoid room 3. There is a car park at the back of the pub, it is small and can be difficult parking a biggish car. Would request to reserve a space if staying again. However, was able to get a parking space.

Room very clean excellent bathroom…….downfall on second day & night had no heating to room

We were there over the weekend so of course very noisy. Would not have wanted to stay in. Bar for any length of time. Room very noisy & full of smell of smoke.

lovely pub in the centre of Louth . great to walk around the town. good prices for a pint of beer. room was lovely and clean , tidy with tea coffee making . the room was at the front of the building on the high street great view.

the only issue was the shower , whilst it was good the water could took a while to come through hot.
