The Quorn Lodge Hotel

The hotel is just 3.5 miles from a popular wedding venue (the old cow shed barns) so location is ideal in that regard. Staff went above & beyond to ensure we were all accommodated- rooms (5 of them) were made ready early as the wedding was 12.30 and we had travelled nearly three hours so needed to change & freshen up. Truda had ensured a sofa bed was made up for a 3 year old in her parents room. All the rooms were spacious, well equipped & clean & staff bent over backwards for us always with a smile. Breakfast was excellent & really good value.

We travelled for a wedding which was just 3.5 miles away at 12.30 - spoke to Truda who kindly ensured our rooms (5 of them) were ready early so we could change & freshen up. She also accommodated our 3 year old granddaughter with a sofa bed in our daughters room. Breakfast was lovely (juice cereal & full English with toast & marmalade) and an excellent price! All was very clean and the rooms were well equipped. Nothing was to much trouble.I would certainly recommend this hotel.

I have No complaints or niggles whatsoever

cleanliness of the whole hotel and the room, bathroom were very spacious comfortable . The bed bed linen and towels lovely and clean. plenty of parking ,within walking distance to town centre , friendly staff .Breakfast was good plenty variety on offer cereal yoghurt etc . We felt they would try to accommodate most dietary needs if requested .

we thought there was a restaurant which was open to public as well as hotel gusts but we went to order a meal and it was all shut- up but with it been in walking distance to town it was easy to get an evening meal

The location was perfect with a short walk to the town centre. The staff were most welcoming and the ambiance was excellent. We checked in and had a drink before walking round Melton Mowbray. Free parking at the rear of the hotel. When checking out in the morning I asked if it was okay to leave the car whilst we went for another walk and they said it was fine. Never heard any other guests so a peaceful nights sleep.

Breakfast 7am to 9am. A bit early for us and a set price. So didn’t have it.

Really friendly welcome. Facilities better than expected as haven't been back here for a very long time. Slept really well as the hotel was very quiet even though hours before there was a large wedding reception going on.

Having to locate and wait for the one large milk jug in the dining room at breakfast. Would rather have a small personal milk jug provided with the pot of tea. On the subject of tea the quantity of tea and milk satchets available in the room was minimal for someone who likes tea. I probably could have asked for more but simply grabbed some when I was in town so I knew I wouldn't be running out again. Really minor gripe but easily fixed.

Room was really spacious - lots of room and a good sized wardrobe and really comfy bed. Slight issue with window was sorted straight away. Owner and staff were all really nice and welcoming, good amount of parking to rear of hotel.

No evening meals being served due to staff issues - tables in vicinity very hard to come by without pre-booking. Breakfast was minimal and no information regarding allergens made it even smaller for the price. Lighting towards carpark lacking.

We were given a free upgrade on arrival.. The room was large with elegant classical furniture. The biggest bed we have ever slept in. Lovely bathroom with a bath and shower over. Very clean and comfortable . Good breakfast, plenty of choice, no shortage of extra toast coffee, milk etc.

The room needs Coasters or coverings to save the furniture from hot drinks, makeup , hairspray etc.

The decor is in line with the period of the property, our room was very specious, lovely and clean. Staff where very friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Good value for money, we would definitely stay again. Plenty of parking spaces and 5minutes walk from the town centre.

Lovely staff. Clean and tidy room with a comfy bed. I did have a full English breakfast which was more than decent and with pot of proper tea. The wi-fi was adequate and there was ample parking at the back of the property

My shower pressure could definitely have done with a bit more oomph, but my room was on the top floor. That's all I can think of.
