Holiday Inn Express Milton Keynes, an IHG Hotel

Great place to stay, lots of parking and good restaurant right in front. Friendly and helpful staff made the 8 day stay very pleasant. Room was spotless, cleaned and tidied everyday, it wasn't the greatest of sizes but was just fine. Bed was comfortable and made the stay even more relaxing. Breakfast also was quite good and varied, fresh and continuously replenished. Not the most complete I have seen but for sure was enough Pity that some people exagerated making themselves literally also lunch and dinner from the breakfast buffet but this is independent of the hotel, it depends on the manners of the single people involved. Always lots of people in the breakfast area but honestly never had any problems seating or having to queue up like I have read elsewhere. Hotel is in a great position , near lake Willen and not far from shopping area. Would definitely stay there again for my next trip to the UK.

The reception team were friendly and welcoming from the moment I stepped through the door. OK so the car park was full and I had to park round the corner but that's not the end of the world. The room was clean and fresh, the breakfast was nice with a selection of "English" cooked and then continental or healthy option. There is air con in the room to keep things cool but if you're a little chilly it doesn't put out a lot of heat, but there bed will warm you up. The pub opposite is only small and they are not helpful at all, I'd avoid this place but there is a Brewers fair a 5 minute drive away with free 3 hr parking.

A newly developed room to an excellent and comfortable standard 371. Very comfortable bed with top-class housekeeping standards. Breakfast content is excellent too, with quality bacon and sausages and scrambled eggs,, an appetizing vegetarian option, freshly squeezed orange juice, and plenty of tea and coffee...The catering staff and service staff are super efficient friendly and welcoming.,

There is not a lot more the Hotel and staff could do to make ones visit more comfortable Well done and Thanks again everyone.

The staff were simply outstanding - friendly, efficient and effective. Facilities were good and the food also of a good standard. They had taken account of the Grand Prix timings and adjusted dining times to reflect this (better than the Holiday Inn I used last year!). They offered a packed facility to make up a small lunch. I could not fault their attention to details

Price was significantly above what you should pay for a stay of this nature, even allowing for the Grand Prix. While raising prices to reflect major local events is understandable, I felt that this was a little too much. It was made worse by the details as to distance to Silverstone were significantly wrong (by almost 8 miles each way) this was annoying.

Quiet room with good soundproofing and curtains, comfortable bed, clean bathroom. When I initially checked in, I was given a room with an interconnecting door to the room next door, but I know that sound travels through these doors, so I asked to change and was offered a room without this feature.

Breakfast was a bit of a problem, because it was very busy and staff couldn't keep up with keeping the hot food replenished and keeping the tables clean for incoming guests. There was a huge queue for hot food at one point, then plates ran out and people were waiting around for tables to be cleaned. A little chaotic at busy times (9am on Sunday).

Everything was good except at Reception when booking in. We requested Room 362 (of which you have accepted on 3 previous occasions when we booked) but when we arrived the Receptionist took a while clicking away and then said sorry, that room has been allocated! We were very disappointed, mainly with her 'sorry it's been allocated' reply. We booked back in March. We asked for a room alongside that same corridor, but was told there were none! We did however have a good room opposite and it was fine - Breakfast was excellent and some staff were exceptional.

Free breakfast is always a plus when it comes to a hotel booking Hotel has a great location, minutes away from the main area of Milton Keynes Friendly service at the reception counter, who were very patient with our kids and more than happy to provide us with extras i.e. additional pillows upon request. Located directly opposite a Harvester Restaurant

Was advised at the counter that had we booked via IHG/Holiday Inn directly, they would have provided us with a lower price in the first place than what Booking.com was offering for the night. May be worth looking into for future bookings.

Staffs were exceptionally wonderful, friendly, and helpful. It was a busy Grand prix weekend but the staffs never failed to put on a smile and helped everyone. The small little touches of providing water and fruits pop in the morning, and some champagne and wine when we came back late at night made the whole stay wonderful. Keep it up and thank you for everything!!

Location- A bit far out and there aren't anything around the hotel within walking distance. If you don't have a car, make sure you have dinner first before you head back to the hotel.

The hotel is in a prime location with easy access to the highway, a nearby park and a mall. The staff is very responsive and the overall hotel experience is good.

The rooms, especially for a double with a sofa bad are very small. Once you open the sofa bed there is barely any room for walking let alone working. The shower is a bit funky, the right knob adjusts the hot water, while the left is the cold water. I know things are on the other side in the UK, but there should have been a warning about this because I got scalded by the hot water.

Room was lovely and large, lovely little table for work, and a strong waterflow from the shower. Have stayed her before, did not have time for breakfast this time, but previously has been ok.

The Hotel is located next to Harvester, so the evening meal is here unless you are able to travel further afield. The menu is not great, and I think the hotel would do well to offer dinner on the premises instead of needing to leave the hotel. One thing I do not like is the location of the toilet in the rooms, with a querky door that can be used to close the bathroom, and also give privacy for the toilet. This door is a little precarious, as when opening the door to leave the bathroom, several times I jammed my hand as I kept forgetting that when opened it closed behind it.
