Novotel Milton Keynes

Pleasant hotel, great breakfast, perfect location for the Snow Dome! Went to an amazing Turkish restaurant 10 minutes away for dinner. Fab family stay for a little over-nighter.

Nothing majorly, however, pool changing rooms could’ve been cleaner. Pool required booking, however, it would appear no inspection was made to check the previous slot swimmers actually left as super busy!

It's a place where you can feel at home. People are easygoing, cheerful and kind. Also an awesome location as everything is close-by.

The 'you can feel at home' might not be the best after all when you're having your dinner and see a big dirty foot up on the table next to you. Also, something was really off with their pool... smelt rather weird as if too much chlorine? As we heard someone had their eyes puffed up from it, they couldn't open them. Also, kids running up and down the corridor, making extreme noises even at 11pm. I just feel some people lack common decency, really.

Nice big room. Liked the bath. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty when I was able to get some. Free parking was a bonus. WiFi worked well.

Breakfast was chaos, especially on Monday morning. In school holidays, with lots of families staying, it could have been open for longer as everyone came in at 09:30, so food and crockery ran out, tables weren't cleaned and the staff were run ragged trying to keep up. I waited 15 minutes to get pancakes while the staff fiddled around with the machine and as a result I missed out on getting fruit as it was cleared away before I was able to go up for any. Saturday and Sunday the coffee machine ran out both mornings. Not everyone is a business traveller leaving at the crack of dawn!

Location good on the outskirts of Milton Keynes. Have use of the pool which was a bonus. Only 1 lift which meant quicker to use stairs at busy times. Beware of the car park. It’s an automatic penalty charge if you don’t register your car at reception within 20 minutes of entry. 4 ev chargers on site and often they are available. If not there is a BP garage opposite with 8 rapid chargers, and a BP pulse office with a rapid too. EVs are very well catered for in Milton Keynes. We will be back again when visiting Silverstone motor racing. A high proportion of the guests this weekend were here for Silverstone festival!

Rooms were a little tired in places. Bathroom was a plastic bath/ shower with low pressure. Toilet was separate but no wash basin if bathroom was in use. Otherwise fine

Breakfast was good. A good variety of choice and my kids loved the pancake machine. The kids corner was nice touch. Checking In and out I dealt with one of your members of staff I didn’t get her name but she was very lovely and friendly. She gave my kids a toy and an activity pack, which was amazing and came in handy for our 6 hour drive back home. The rooms were a good size and enjoyed our stay. The pool was a good temperature for the kids and had lots of fun in the pool during our stay.

The kids corner was a good idea but most of the books were damaged and it would have be nice to have a small box of toys like blocks/cars/plastic animals for the kids to play with.

Spotlessly clean, I had a one year old little girl crawling around so I can tell you even the skirting boards were clean! Lovely little touches like the espresso coffee machine with pods, good quality shampoo/conditioner and lots of teas, coffees and hot chocolates! Lovely little pool which we had all to ourselves. It was my sons birthday and I took him for dinner in the restaurant. The staff were so kind and welcoming and made a huge fuss of him, put candles in his pudding and sung happy birthday! Also bought him balloons over. Honestly made his day! So kind and thoughtful!

Restaurant a little overpriced but nothing ridiculous.

The hotel is situated around many shops and the main train station which was a bonus for me; even though that's the case, there wasn't any noise from traffic etc We checked into the hotel in the late afternoon and the person dealing with our check in, was absolutely lovely and helpful. The room itself was pleasantly presented and served us well. The casting from the phone to the TV didn't work, which was a shame as I've previously stated in another Novotel in a different location and the facility did work. Also, there was no fridge in the room as this was a feature in another Novotel I've stayed in at another location. Aside from that, we had the basic things needed in the room and we had a comfortable sleep. We did go for breakfast in the morning, which was decent. The breakfast staff and other F&B members were not amiable whatsoever, which was a shame. I didn't find the breakfast staff helpful nor approachable at all. Nevertheless, we ate and filled our stomachs so that we could proceed with our long day ahead. The purpose of our trip was to go to indoor skydiving, courtesy of Ifly Milton Keynes and onto Gulliver's Land, which we enjoyed thoroughly. I initially booked the hotel for two nights and I am glad that I did because we had access to the swimming facilities onsite, which was the highlight for me and my children. We booked a late night slot, which meant that there were not many guests in the pool so we literally had the pool to ourselves for our fulfilment. The male night manager is definitely an asset to Novotel as he was fantastic and assisted me with my queries. The night manager even showed me around the gym and swimming facilities even though it was shut at that point and I really appreciated that; he definitely went over and beyond to accommodate me, which didn't go unnoticed. Thank you Oga!

The other staff members could have been more welcoming as they weren't. With the exception of the night male manager.

We had a wonderful holiday stay at Novotel my grandson loved the pool and we found the staff all cheerful and attentive. Our room was a family room and a good size it was clean and fresh and the decor light and calm the blackout curtains were totally effective. Iv stayed in many hotels and this had one of the cleanest bathrooms. We were visiting family so didn't eat at the hotel but it certainly looked appealing. This hotel is very family friendly we shall definitely be returning again thank you for a great stay.

Great hotel. Lovely and accommodating for our anniversary with a surprise in our room. Kids sofa bed is two separate single beds which was amazing for my two kids that like their own space. Great breakfast, although a bit on the expensive side. Pool is small but pleasant enough for a quick dip with a small sauna. Meant to be max 15 people at a time but there was 20 at one point which should be looked into. The separate toilet from the bathroom is fantastic! Overall a great stay. Thank you!

hotel was clean. staff friendly but seemed undertrained. Breakfast was glorious and could not fault the heat of the dishes ( in many placees the eggs - beans are cold) Novotel was perfect in that area. Well done 10/10.

The pool timings are set by reception in that you need to book a 30 min slot. At peak times, this means even though there were 13 of us in teh group, we only go 30 mins, even though the pool stayed open till 10pm. Not the best ! would have wanted to stay longer. The bathroom and toilet in each room are separate. Whilst this is ok, there is no sink facility in the toilet only rolls. Not very hygienic, especially for people who use water.
