We booked this months ago, and from the minute we walked into the bar area, the staff were friendly and smiley! Reception understood that we were hosting a big event in town and took care of the other bookings we took out there for the same weekend. The hallways and the room smelt divine! Room was quiet at the back by the garden, it was spotless, beds comfy but pillows a bit on the hard side. Bathroom was a shower only but clean, nice towels and hot water. Breakfast was served fast, and plentiful, dinner alot of good choices and lovely, James on the floor really helped us throughout the day. Night porter knew our names and was very friendly. Parking safe with plenty of spaces around the back with cctv. Location spot on for what we were doing. Great value for money, we will be coming back with many more guests for our event next year, same time!
The pillows room 11!

Smiles all around at check-in. Lovely spacious room with plenty of storage. Breakfast was prepared to order with plenty of options, vegetarians/vegans included. Served with a smile, all the staff were lovely.
Although we were not staying for dinner I had a glance at the bar menu. It would seem if you are vegetarian who dislikes spicy food the only option (not a choice) is mac cheese. I understand the spicy sauce can be left off on the flatbread, just ask, but for a major chain of pubs , Green King , you must do better. I know the staff, who were outstanding will adapt any dish for you, the menu must include choices, not a vegetarian option. (which is spicy)

The room was modern and exactly as pictured which is quite rare, lots of places show recently decorated rooms and once there we have found them looking tired and quite shabby. Also the room was immaculate and the beds were comfortable with plenty of room. Ann was the first person we met while checking in and she was amazing throught our stay, so friendly and very helpfull. The attached Green King bar was a big plus and accessible from the inn which was very handy with plenty of food choices at great prices what more could you want. You are also able to take food and drinks to your room.
Two things were a little disappointing First was the shower it was very poor, no pressure, you had to stand right in the corner of the bath to get into the stream and a lot of the water escaped from the hose before reaching the showerhead. The second was the walls l, they were thin and our first night there was interupted by a very loud man who didnt seem to need much sleep and kept me awake until early morning. But i must say this did not spoil our lovely stay and we would definitely stay there again.

Thank you for putting a fan in the room ahead of our stay. It was very much needed.
It would have been nice to have more than two teabags in the room. Bearing in mind there was two of us. The staff where very busy and I didn't like to ring the bell to take them out of the pub. Maybe an idea to keep some extra on the desk, that we could help ourselves to. On a downside the shower leaked all over the floor, the shower didn't stop it from escaping around the bath. This needs to be looked at. We mopped up as best we could.

Would be nice to visit here in summer and use the tree-lined garden with its old trees (including a Sequoia which must have been planted by the iriginal residents), which we could see from the dining room. Good rooms with quiet rear aspect (at least on the side where we were). Plenty of parking. Easy to find from the A5.
Mattress a bit hard. Dining room rather chilly. Wifi awkward to access - too much information requested. Could have been some healthy cereals but breakfast otherwise good with croissants and pastries available.

Room was tidy and comfortable, staff on reception were very welcoming, informative and polite. Bar and restaurant staff were also competent and quick with service. There was a load quiz on in the pub area, but I was given a table in the 'garden room', so it didn't overly annoy me. Breakfast had plenty of options and for £9 was a bargain.
The fact that rooms had adjoining doors. It meant that the two construction workers sharing the room next to me kept we awake with their snoring and then woke me early when they got up and chatted loudly at 5am.

In a busy venue, it was a peaceful stay. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was something I would have to get used to in a positive way, as the staff were very friendly and I am just not used to such a breakfast offering.
No Air Con, but I am Australian and have become accustomed to it. I figured on that being a first world problem for me, as the fan and open window were more than adequate after a short period of heat when I returned to the room.

The hotel was very nicely decorated, clean and inviting. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice and clean.
Although the location was in town, the building is a country house pub with lots of tarmac around it for parking, which was a little disappointing from an aesthetic viewpoint. Our bed was a tad too firm but that’s just our personal opinion and our room looked out onto the car park at the rear which proved noisy, but I’m guessing most of the rooms looked out onto the car parks front and rear. Very minor observations in an otherwise lovely place to stay, made so by the relaxed ambience and lovely staff.

Excellent room, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good and enough choice on evening menus. Location close to centre of town 20 min walk which suited me well. If back to Nuneaton, I would stay here again.
Coffee urns were on the blink one morning - minor problem. Staff cheerful and helpful. Jane? on reception desk was nice. bed was comfortable. Actually, I felt I was in a degree of Luxury so excellent value for money.

The location was super and I liked the room (though the view wasn't great). It was clean and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Though they don't have air conditioning in the rooms they had at least thought how to mitigate the high temperatures by giving me a fan.
The breakfast was passable and probably par against other pub establishments, but if there was an area to improve I'd say they could up their game there.
