I loved the history. Three manager explained some of it. It was fascinating to see all the different parts of the hotel. The food was great, especially the Sunday lunch and even more so, the profiterole sundae - that was amazing! The staff were all very polite and helpful. Price wise, it’s as you would expect, not over or underpriced, just about right. The room, whilst being slightly small, was perfectly adequate for us and our stay. Parking was a bit limited, but was extremely easy to get to. If I come to Atherstone again, this is definitely where I’ll be staying.

Not much. The pillows weren’t the greatest, but that’s more of a personally difficulty with sleeping rather than the hotel.

Being constantly concerned about security of motorcycle parking, I was, without any request from me, upgraded to a superior room in order that I was able to observe my bike in the car park. Service over and above the call of duty ... and with a smile. Great breakfast Staff mostly very pleasant and helpful. Not a huge car park. I initially had a job squeezing a motorcycle in but overnight there was plenty of space. Close to mainline railway station and large supermarkets. I would happily stay there again.

Checkout time seemed very early and for me, inconvenient at 10am, and check in time even more so at 4pm. Nothing else not to like!

The staff were great, very friendly man checked me in (I think the hotel manager but didn't get his name). So welcoming and helpful. The room was fine, I had read mixed reviews but it was spotless, comfortable and had tea/coffee/mini shower things which I wasn't expecting. I only needed the room for myself to stay after attending a wedding at mythe barn, taxi was £10 back, and as I was in the annex part there was no need to ring a night porter as I had an outside key too.

Nothing against the hotel but the street noise woke me up at 7am (Sunday morning) with a lorry delivering very noisily!! My room faced onto the street, but good job I didn't want a lay in! Nothing else to fault about the room, facilities or staff.

The location, the style, the old essence, the entrance. Free parking, the staff were all lovely nothing was too much trouble. The food was good and the room was fresh, clean and well thought out. Best of all was the huge bed and how firm it was! seriously I never find the right sort of comfort for my back and disability but this one was phenomenal! We would loved to have stayed longer than our whistle stop tour. Highly recommend.

The only negative would be it was quite hot in the room but even that was catered for as in the wardrobe there was a fan!! I love that it already provided for.

Its a little old fashioned and basic but Staff are friendly and helpfull and it's kept clean, it's also bang in the middle of Atherstone, free parking, although it can be a little tight, but all in all would stay again

We stayed in the Annex, could not get wifi there, also couldnt get online with my phone as no signal from my provider. They need to update their key info cards as the wrong information about breakfast stated on them is wrong ( card says finishes at 9:30am, it's actually 11:30 am mon -fri)

Friendly young enthusiastic staff. Public lounges and bar areas really nice, clean and full of character. Loved the library for evening relaxation. Love the theming throughout hotel relating to the Battle of Bosworth. Excellent breakfast at very reasonable price 😀

Standard bedroom was a little tired and faded - could do with new mattress and walls not soundproof. The music from an evening wedding reception could be clearly heard in our room until midnight. perhaps at check in on such nights, they could check whether we are part of the wedding party, and if not, put us in a room well away from the disco area However it was well cleaned and in room facilities were good, including a safe

Staff, room, and bed were good. Very clean room, staff were friendly, bed was comfortable. I explained I was disabled and was moved from the annexe to a ground floor room - which was excellent service, thank you.

Breakfast was a bit 'stingy' for the price, but well cooked and hot. Parking facilities are limited and there were no disabled spaces. The annexe location should be explained better. If you had a lot of luggage or have walking disabilities it could be a problem.

Good location, close to the NEC without the inflated prices. Welcomed the dog and she was able to come with us for food. Room was clean and comfy.

Car park is very snug so be prepared to take your time parking if there is space, however car park down the road is free overnight. Very cold room when arrived. Given the very cold weather for march (including snow) I think the radiators could have been turned on even at low given the single paned window made the room very cold for a few hours.

The comfortable beds and great location and the lovely friendly staff and the history of this old coach house . It has a really relaxed friendly environment ,which makes us come back .

We had 3 rooms with 10 guests , 5 children included. We ordered food from the menu , waited 45 mins , food was cold , knives and forks were given out after food served , meals were appalling value for money and portion sizes were small . 9.99 fish and chips 12 Chips and a piece of haddock with skin included 9 peas approximately. It was awful ... £7.50 charged for Childrens meals was expensive ,again portions miserly.

Management and staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely stay there again if l am ever in the area... 😊

Car Park was very small and difficult to get out Would be a good idea if the car park had a designated disabled space and marked exit so that it makes it easier to leave the car park Also a door bell on the exit doors to alert staff if help is required when guests are unable to open the doors.. Such as disabled. elderly and parents with young children... I hope these issues will be resolved.
