Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Good sized clean room and en-suite with bathtub and shower over. Everything worked OK. Easy parking.. Good breakfast - with some choice. When I visited breakfast was cooked to order, perhaps because there were not that many guests. The layout of the restaurant suggested that sometimes breakfast might be self service, but perhaps I am wrong, as the restaurant might be used for other functions.

The lighting in the room was abysmal. The room certainly needed a ceiling light. The accommodation is in a very ugly looking building, but once inside the rooms it is OK. There is no fish option at breakfast.

Wonderful welcome from the Receptionist Mel. We were made to feel comfortable and relaxed, a great start to the experience. The experience continued through the evening, with all the staff that was on duty. Once again another wonderful welcome for breakfast from Mel who deserves acknowledgement from the management for all her hard work and professionalism. Would highly recommend the Longshoot to anyone. Thanks to everyone for making our stay an enjoyable one.

Nothing to report, all really good.

The staff were wonderful. Bed very comfortable, room and bathroom spotlessly clean. Parking outside room, good value for money. Cooked breakfast was good and plenty of other choices too.

WiFi in room ( furthest away from the reception area) was poor. Limited vegetarian choice on dinner menu. When booking, we paid for breakfast at £9 per person. However, the cost of continental breakfast was £4.99 so a choice of either should be available when booking.

The customer service was very good, particularly when there was a problem with the lock on one of our rooms. The rooms were very good, larger than we expected, and clean. The breakfast was also good, with a good selection for both the full English and continental-style breakfasts. We also had an evening meal, which was good, and the inn is ideally situated for buses into Nuneaton, Hinckley, and Leicester. The road is quite noisy during the night, but the windows do a good job of blocking most of the noise.

The room doors would perhaps be improved by having a yale lock instead of the existing ones, which proved to be quite awkward to lock. Showering in the bath was quite slippy and the provision of a shower mat would be helpful. We did ask for rooms close together, and although the inn is not particularly large, the rooms were on opposite sides.

Room was lovely and clean Bed was Comfortable Breakfast was good Staff were Friendly Loved the continental feel to the room location. L shaped room blocks with ground and balcony floors

The shower was Awful, no power and you had to stand on the plug hole to get underneath it. Doors slammed, making them noisy especially at 5am. Personal opinion only, I would have loved to see muesli on offer in choice of cereals Alpen packets especially.

We loved the motel style rooms, we could park right outside our room. We also loved the huge bed. Lovely breakfast and excellent, value for money, carvery in evenings. Staff excellent. Spotlessly clean. Would def stay again.

The radiator in our room kept waking us up the first night, it was very noisy, but once we switched it off at the wall it went quiet, and the room stayed toasty warm even though it was snowing outside. Definitely wouldn't put us off staying again.

Good price, good pub food, clean, everything working, friendly and helpful staff, good access from the M1. Well sized room.

The room was very hot after checking in (at 10pm) and took hours to air out since there is only one window. Had to prop open the door for a while to help create a draft. The room was also quite dark since it only has table lamps in the corners, and would have benefitted from something on the ceiling or a more powerful floor lamp

Lovely room, very clean and comfortable. Supersize bed. Iron and ironing board in wardrobe which is nice addition. Lovely food in the restaurant. Friendly helpful staff. Had an issue with blockage in bath, which was attended to promptly.

Free WiFi was very hit and miss in my room. Either wouldn't connect or dropped out within a few mins. Connection in the pub was fine.

We paid for breakfast, which was well cooked and good quality. There was a large group of a fishing club staying, a few whom were shouting across from the rooms to the pub in the morning, which wasn't ideal but not the staff's fault. Some people are just inconsiderate, I guess. Everything within the pub's control was spot on and we'd stay again when in the area.

Noisy guests.

Everything, the room was excellent the breakfast was superb. The evening meal we had in the bar was excellent The evening Carvery looked excellent but as we had eaten at lunch time we could not have done justice to a big meal, the staff could not do enough for you.

As we are not good on our feet I would have liked grab handles on the wall above the bath for the shower, but we managed.
