pleseant staff, clean room, easy to find, lots of parking. Nice to read about the history of the place, and see the old parts of the building.

needed to put the extra electric radiator on as the central heating was on very low and the room and bathroom were chilly. Food was average. Veg stir fry had slithers of veg, mainly just noodles, salmon over cooked and breakfast eggs overcooked.

The email to remind us about our stay arrived 2 days later good job I had it on my calendar 🤣🤣 No one on reception when we left so put the keycard on the desk

We loved the good old fashioned service we received and the maturity of the team.

This was the second time I have stayed here for Crufts. Chosen because it is dog friendly and has plenty of outdoor space to walk the dog around. The staff are friendly and helpful and rooms are clean and comfortable. The food was really lovely too, the roast beef was delicious and very tender. I also brought my own throws/blankets to go on the beds due to bringing the dog with me.

Could do with a couple more dog poo bins, one near the front entrance, and one near the gate to the wooded area, as there was only one designated bin around the side of the hotel. As not only did I clean up after my own dog, I also picked up after others too and deposited other owners strewn about bags in the bin. My only other gripe, were the very loud and screaming children running around on Sunday night who were also banging about on the piano.

Good sized room, very clean, comfy bed, little extras like water, biscuits , refreshments. Room pleasant temperature, not too hot, not cold. Very quiet at night. Good black out curtains. Plenty of towels. Bar area very nice. Service very good.

Room needed a little attention to detail…curtains slightly coming off rail, decor a bit worn. Nothing seriously wrong, but if updated it would be excellent. Food options not great for veggies or vegans. Not very adventurous. Large plates but a lot of bread to fill it up. Salad lacking in variety. Lasagne a bit stodgy, and not much veg in it. A bit pricey for what it was. Fish and chips were tasty.

The staff were superb, very warm and friendly. We had a lovely room the building was clan and tidy. We had a lovely meal in the bar area. Several of us stayed over as we had a golf match the following day. We spent most of the afternoon and the evening in the bar area, two sets of bar staff covered this area during this time and they were exceptional. They lite the fire in the evening so we were very cosy. The breakfast was lovely and service great. All round an excellent stay for everyone.

Nothing - wish we had a longer stay.

The site is OK. The look of the façade too and the ground floor areas are nice. Parking is conveniently located adjacent to the building. Heating was by recirculating hot water but with a very efficient digital regulator. Room was small but the exact size that had been stated and we welcome accurate information as we were offered before reserving.

Breakfast was served to 9 o'clock only but we were tired from a long car ride from the South and did not book it, maybe missing an interesting experience. Location calls for a ca. 10 km ride from Coventry which would be difficult if we had no GPS. We were looking for a cosy 16th century room, but even though the room was certainly old (e.g. the light switches were near the door and not near the bed) the room was rather unremarkable. We had to carry bags up the stairs and then along a very long corridor, past fire-doors to the room. Heating was noisy for about 60 minutes in the evening, due to a water hammer effect caused by another installation, which they solved as soon as they had access to the room causing the problem.

I was there for the Gatsby Night meal and disco, and it was a fantastic night!! The food was great, especially the starters and desserts. It was a lovely atmosphere, the band and dancers were all class. Really enjoyed it. Thank you. I shared my room with a friend. It was a comfortable stay.

The bathroom was amazing and very spacious, the bedroom was quite cosy and small. But it was for purpose and clean and the bed was really comfortable.

The hotel is quite impressive when you drive up to it. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond when we found a large spider on our ceiling on the first night! The room was a good size, clean and had what felt like a new bathroom to top it off. The bed was comfortable and the view was fine. We had dinner in the restaurant on the first night which was very good - fish a little too salty so my mum stuggled to eat it all but even so, everything else was very tasty. The continental breakfast is very big! All very nice and waitresses were very good. We would dedinitely stay here again.

The only thing which was a shame about our stay is that we were there for 2 nights visiting family in the area and wanted to relax at the hotel in between. We were put in a room next to a bride getting married on the Sunday we were leaving so we were woken up very early. We understand that they would be excited to get the day going, it just would have been good to be put in a room elsewhere.
