Young bar person was amazing, Alex was very friendly and professional during a very busy evening. Lovely building. Had a great atmosphere but don't think there was food avail after 5pm on Sunday ...unable to find serving times on the website and didn't like to ask as it was very busy.

1.Room4 is fantastic and so clean, but the refreshment area had a 'Mind Your Head' sign which didn't deter me from hitting my head twice, painfully, as I concentrated on getting down the 2 steps. Being a zero accident advocate I think the floor should be lowered to prevent a possible serious injury. 2. Fabulous power shower but cost savings to be made by turning down the temp a degree or two. 3. I wouldn't book through booking.com again as reviews said you get a free bottle of wine if you book direct. 4. Bit noisy outside deliveries from 4amish but managed sleep reasonably well.

The room was very modern, sleek and had a really nice cottagey pub feel to it. Little features/ add ons from the owners gave the stay and extra special feel. For example the breakfast pack supplied which had cereal, flapjacks, yoghurt, fresh ground coffee, fresh juice was lovely extra thrown in with the price. The room also featured a mini fridge which had a carton of fresh milk in it which is nice when you’re away for teas/coffees. The bathroom was very modern and clean. The pub itself is modern and has a lovely homely feel to it, staff were lovely and we really enjoyed the food it was delicious and not expensive! Free parking for the night was also just a stones throw away!

The only downside about the pub was location. The pub is in a small town which doesn’t really have anything there. We were only staying for a night as we were travelling around Cornwall so this was fine for us as we stayed in the pub for the night for food and drinks which was lovely. You could drive to another local town which had slightly more to do and this was only 10 mins away.

I was impressed that they use local produce and the continental breakfast supplied in the room was excellent and of the highest quality. The bathroom although small was very modern and spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food I ordered was delicious and very well presented. There is a bus stop right outside of the pub.

The doors kept banging, I would suggest some sort of spring fitting to avoid this. The room was small(couldnt fully open the bathroom door) and I would suggest some sort of light where the mini fridge and kettle are situated. Parking although free is not near the pub (it's on a hill) and could be a problem when first arriving and unloading baggage if there are no spaces on the road outside the pub.

Pub meals are available on site. Being on the main street, the town and harbour were within walking distance. As we arrived after 1700 we found a parking spot in the free Permarin St carpark about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. We had not expected to have breakfast available but they now include a light breakfast left outside your door in the morning in a cool bag.

Our Google maps directed us to a tiny lane behind the hotel where there was only private parking. We did know that the hotel didn't have parking and should have checked ahead with the hotel about where to park.

Location-close to station and shops Microbrewery pub was lovely Rooms were smallish but had a good selection of hot drinks, smart TV and ensuite

Breakfast option I would not recommend- a DIY bag of 'continental' breakfast included juice, kids cereal, flapjack and yoghurt, a cafetiere with a small amount of coffee.. I appreciate the pub was not open to cater for proper breakfast options but this felt like a cop out for the additional costs per person... I think instead pop across to Rowes bakery for a pasty or a pastry

Nice and clean room, a bit tight though. They provided enough snacks to get some food for breakfast. Nice touch. However, the cool box containing the snaks had to be re-done becase it had already been used (probably left from the previous guest).

Staff at the bar/restaurant. I had to leave and go eat somewhere else because the girl who was taking the orders came several times and never even looked at me. There were only two other group of 4 people each!

The accommodation was small but airy and light. It had everything needed, and was not too noisy at night (which I had worried about). Welcome was nice, and checkout at a civilised time of day, even though a weekday.

It's a pity not to offer breakfast. I was given good directions and found an excellent breakfast at Muddy Beach, and appreciated that I could leave my bag in the room until 11, so it wasn't too inconvenient. However, in worse weather I would have preferred breakfast on site.

Lovely rooms, great to have a fridge and the in room breakfast option. Also good to regular housekeeping to refresh - too many places have dropped it so top marks to Seven Stars 👏Really good food and bear and the pub quiz was a fun bonus. 👏

Parking can be tricky in summer - we were down in Commercial St car park but you have 30 mins outside to drop off. We left car parked up and used local bus which stops right outside pub 👍

The room was comfy, the decor was stylish and the cotton bedding was really nice. Room contained everything we needed. Complimentary drinks were welcome after a long drive. Perfect Penrhyn location.

Winter-weight duvet was too warm for us. Not much of a problem as the window could be opened - small amount of traffic noise but really wasn't an issue for us. Breakfast option would be good - maybe even a pre-ordered sizeable bap -bacon/black pudd/hog's pudd/fried egg/griddled 🥑..... we knew there was no breakfast and still booked so....

it was compact, very clean and very comfortable. The manager was very friendly and showed me a way to get to the room where I did not have to go through the pub which was excellent, as a solo traveller it was reassuring. As I paid upfront I only had to leave my key in the room to check out so that was good. good value for money, right in the centre of penryn I would stay again.

just a little niggle I found a plastic bottle under the bed from a previous occupant when I was checking I hadn’t left anything on my way out. A bottle of water would have been good- I don’t drink tea or coffee.
