this was an ‘emergency’ stay on 25th Dec at 23:00 due to my transport plans failing, it was the perfect solution - the owner picked up the phone quickly even at this time of night, sent me the room code in minutes and was very accommodating and nice, making sure i got all i needed for such unplanned stop. the location is ideal right next to station but very quiet - i had a good sleep. the room was warm and very clean. pleasant place overall. basic but great value for money, shower was hot and good pressure. basic cafe and tea options

Well, this loction no longer does breakfast but I just had a coffee and pastry at the railway station. The location was the best part, it was within sight of the railway station and that was good for someone on a tight timetable. The contact number was useful as I had to ask for directions and the person who answered was very helpful.

The fact there was no breakfast needs to be made clearer, I had to ring up to find that out.

The room is more spacious than I thought, very clean, a comfortable stay! I checked-in at midnight but the instruction was clear so I got my key without any problem. The cafe downstairs kindly helped with luggage storage so I was able to explore reading more care-free. Perfect location only 3-4 minutes walk from the Reading railway station.

The shower was a bit weird at the beginning, it went from extremely hot to extremely cold in a few seconds. But I just had a quick shower so it did not bother me much.

Excellent location for access to the city centre and bus connections. Very clean and neat.

Very noisy as it was Saturday night and a late night music venue is very close by. Access to the room was gained by access codes sent via SMS, no staff on site so no local support to resolve issues like a missing TV remote.

It was close to Reading Station so very easy to get a train the next morning. The room was spacious and very well arranged. The galley kitchen was a surprise and only discovered after I'd ordered a takeaway to be delivered. I enjoyed a tasty cup of coffee in the cafe below before heading off to the station.

The walls were so thin that I could hear the person next door snoring through the night. No sleep at all due to noise from the street and road outside.

Private ,Clean and comfortable will be staying again

Phone died and i forgot to write down the door code ,nobody picked up when i called from a public phone:(( managed to charge my phone next door in the barbers tho, my own fault but bit annoying that u struggle to get ahold of anyone if something goes wrong

Just what I needed- travelled to reading for the music fest and the location is literally 5min away from the festival bus/train station. Read reviews about the area being potentially noisy at night but nope everything’s fine, had a good rest. Friendly staff (lost my keycard but they just replaced it with no problem at all) and affordable price. Room was spotless too. Great stay!

Ideal location for overnight stay, literally 1 min walk from the office so great crash pad when needed. Room is small but clean and comfy bed for a crash pad night stay no frills just functional.

It's located next to a pub so when they fill the bottle bins late at night at their closing time It's noisy but my window was open so know what to do next time.

The location was pretty good as it's only 2mins away from the station. The place was very accomodating as we had gotten locked out from one of the rooms at 12am someone came over to give us a new keycard which was really nice. The noise from the bar next door wasn't too bad and didn't disturb that much.

Decent mattress, clean sheets and towels, hot shower. The room was quiet (at least, it was on a Monday night).

A second pillow would have been nice.
