Ideal location, comfortable, large room, decent bathroom, extra pillows 👍🏻, pub next door in perfect location, lovely park full of squirrels and birds just around the corner which is great for a morning walk. Added bonus was the hotel kitty which was very friendly and possibly one of the most beautiful cats I've ever seen.

The remote control in the room was absolutely disgustingly filthy. It had months of build up on it, of who knows what. Other people's food, fluids, greasy skin cells. I didn't want to touch it, it was so vile.

The room was clean and spacious, comfy bed, large TV with plenty of channels, modern bathroom and good tea making facilities. Quite warm, but there was aircon (I didn't use it) and you can open the window. It was fairly quiet even though it's on a busy road. There's plenty of shops and places to get food near by, including a Wetherspoons. A nice large park nearby to. Easy to walk to the nearest train station, though it takes 15-20 minutes.

Quite a dated building/room, but this is merely cosmetic. It is great for the price.

-Free parking! -Saracens Head (Sizzling chain) connected so it was handy for a cheap breakfast the next day. -On central highstreet - Aldi, Costa, Asda, newsagents, charity shops, B&M, barbers all within 2 min walk either side. -Quiet double glazed rooms -Fan and hairdryer in the room -Receptionists were lovely and friendly, as were the cleaners.

We had a triple room booked - although the beds were made for 3, there were only enough towels/mugs/extra pillows for 2. It wasn't a big issue as it would have been resolved easily if I could've been arsed to go to reception and ask :D

We have stayed here several times now and it is good value for money. The staff are amazing, very friendly and accommodating. The room is always very clean and tidy. Good you have the option for early or late checkout at a small extra cost.

We could see that some painting had been done on this visit, which was excellent and hope this continues in other areas of the hotel too. The Saracens Pub could do with it too. Our meal wasn't very good at all and the tables were quite dirty. You could definitely do with having better pillows, or more of them. The two each that you get are so thin, they are just likr one pillow really, but we still love the hotel

This was a great value-for-money room, very similar to a Premier Inn, even down to the purple carpet. 😁The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, it had a good shower, the heating worked well and I slept well for three nights, while my husband was in a nearby hospital having surgery. There is free parking and shops and places to eat nearby. I felt safe there, which was a concern as I was mainly alone apart from the first night. It was an easy drive to the Spire Parkway Hospital.

Can't think of anything bad really. Maybe bathroom a little tired, but it was clean and functional.

The room was very clean and had all the facilities we required. All the staff that we came across were very friendly and accommodating. The lady on Reception when we left on Wednesday morning was extremely bubbly and very well mannered.

We have visited quite a few times and have always enjoyed our stay and this is why we keep coming back, but the only thing on this occasion was a family on the same floor had a young child that was extremely noisy when coming back to their room, which was around 11:30 pm and he was also running up the corridor outside the rooms too, early hours of the morning.

The staff were lovely. Decent shower, nice fluffy towels and the room was comfy & big enough. The included wifi seemed to work well too.

The TV reception was poor/unwatchable. The walls were quite thin so voices carried between rooms. My keycard didn’t work at first but the staff were great and sorted it straight away. It also didn’t work on the main front door when I returned in the evening so I used the door from the car park. Not really a problem but maybe something they could look into. I wasn’t too sure how to work the heater so maybe an info sheet could be added to the rooms. Pretty minor things and nothing that would put me off staying there again.

The staff were first class . We would have given this hotel full marks if it had not been for the black mould on the shower tile grout. This can be removed easily with spray. Our pillows were cheap and felt like we were sleeping on a sack of potatoes. We did not sleep well because of this. If the above were attended to we would have given the total full marks.

We didn’t sleep well as the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. There was a lot of black mould on the shower tile grout.

We have used Redhill lodge before for an overnight stay before a flight,so we booked again. It's easy to get to,and an added bonus of free parking. Check in was easy, staff helpful and polite. Room was clean and tidy, though there was a smell of smoke lingering about. Bed was comfy, hotel was very quiet over night and has a good night's sleep. It's attached to a sizzler pub that is good value for money, though several other places in the street to go to if you wish. If we every need to stay again,we will have no hesitation in booking.

Smell of smoke lingering about, but that may have come through a window as a we were in a downstairs room.

The staff were lovely. The free parking was an extra bonus! In a really good area for shops, pubs and restaurants. And the nearby park is amazing!

There was a ball of dark hair on the carpet. The smell of smoke in the corridors - (guests smoking in rooms). No lift. The family rooms were upstairs and we had a child in a buggy. Plus a heavy suitcase to drag up the stairs.
