The Stables - Deer Park Farm

Lovely clean accomodation. Lots of hot water for the shower very peaceful location. Lots of tea & coffee Pasties for the morning was a lovely touch. We would stay again in a lovely quiet part of the country with everything you need for a short stay. Great location for the NEC.

Was all lovely. We arrived late at night so hubby got a scare from the stag staute that suddenly lit up as driving in, but watching him jump left me laughing about it for the next hour so that was a added bonus. Bed very hard but that is just a personal preference. A few little improvements could be made but did not detract from the stay, if superking bed it should have super king quilt not kingsize. But bedding was beautiful. Also tv remote did not work. Please dont let this put you off we would recomend

We had a wonderful 2 nights away at The Stables. It was great to be in the middle of the countryside amongst the horses and Alpacas. The accommodation chalet we stayed in was fully equipped with all kitchen equipment needed for a self catering getaway! Plenty of parking and very pretty views. Could easily stay for a week. Great comfy bed, very clean accommodation and bathrobes supplied too with a little patio area to sit with a glass of wine or coffee in the morning. Will be returning in the future.

Everything was super. Need a car to get around but that isn’t a negative and plenty of things to do in short driving distance. Also canal walks.

Everything! Christmas decorations and lighting were a bonus on a lovely countryside area with horses and Lammas. Check-in was super easy with codes available at all times. Friendly and helpful staff. When asked to replace the kettle that was done immediately. Room was well sized and warm on arrival. Control panel to adjust the temperature at your liking. Lovely welcome basket with croissants, pain au chocolate, waffles, butter and jam. Kitchen was fully equipped to cook simple meals. Highlight was the toaster with egg cooker! We will def visit again in spring/summer. No noise from neighbours.

Potholes on the long driveway but I guess it is expectable due to the weather conditions.

Arrived late evening, lights and heating on to welcome us. Lovely clean tidy with every thing we needed. Lounge/kitchen area was lovely coffee/tea with biscuits available milk in fridge for that first cuppa. Everything you needed. Bedroom large king-size bed cosy and comfortable. Good night sleep. Bathroom, clean tidy & bright with a lovely shower all towels provided even 2 dressing gowns. Cant fault anything. Lovely little touches gave it a real homely feel. Good location for NEC and supermarket/shops not far away. Definitely stay again.

As it was dark. It was not obvious where our chalet was as it was tucked around the corner. A sign to indicate where it was would have been good.

Lovely setting and peaceful nights. Waking up to see the horses poking their noses out of the working stable block across the yard. Also it was convenient for our purpose, visiting Solihull and Knowle. Fridge and microwave were handy. We did not use the portable double hotplate, but would have on a longer stay. Shower cubicle was spacious and good shower. All round, comfortable room.

Access drive is mildly bumpy, though nothing compared to the potholes in the road where we live, so not actually a "don't like" for us personally. Not so easy to sit at the table to eat: perhaps a pair of folding stools could be fitted in the room?

Whilst walking our dog in the morning and sticking to the rules of keeping her on a lead a black Rottweiler came running through a hedge & came over to our dog. It appeared very friendly but after a good sniff still hung around our dog making it difficult for us to walk as our smaller dog didn’t really like it. I then came back to our room & the black dog lay outside our door. A neighbour asked if it was our dog as her dog was equally nervous & she couldn’t walk hers outside with the dog loose outside. My husband & I then decided to walk our dog together but still the Rottweiler kept sniffing & smothering our dog so we had to put our dog in the car & leave earlier than planned, which was a shame as we had planned to enjoy a lovely morning walk before we left.

It's an actual farm so if you love nature it's the place to be. Rooms are ok, price is good for their worth, such a relaixng place if you want to go far from big cities or if you need a quiet rest in the middle of a road trip. Staff wasn't in the house so we had to check in by phone but they have been kind and precise so made it not a big issue.

Spiders and inscets are everywhere of course, but if book there, you should expect it. Room could be a little bigger, the bed beside the wall is not the best. The only real defect is no breakfast or bar/cafè/food facilities at all, this could make this beautiful place way much better.

Cosy little en suite with kitchen cabin like room with my own front door with key pad access. Easy to find with great instruction which gate to use and how to get through ahead of my first day of my stay. About 20 mins and up to an hr (in my case unfortunately!) to NEC depending on the traffic. Packaged croissant and pain au choc and waffle included with milk, kettle, microwave and even toaster with cutlery and washing up sponge and liquid. Well equipped and exceeded my expectation! There’s even chairs and a table outside my door to have a nice farm view on a sunny morning. Highly recommended and will come back when I work at NEC again.

It was a great little room and despite the small size, a decent ensuite. It was quiet with good parking so easy to get to the car. The bed was comfy and the towels and linen fresh and clean.

The room needed some shelf space to put things as its a small room with no furniture. There were no wifi details and no response until the next day on the contact number. (We were advised that we should have had a feedback from in the room that would have had the wifi detail, with one being out in teh room the next day)
