The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. I left too early to have breakfast, but I had dinner which was perfectly acceptable pub-grub fare. The bar/restaurant staff were really friendly, although the girl who served me did not seem to know what beers they had on - I was only told about two beer options, but another customer was then given other options that I was not given. Not a big deal, but I would have preferred to have full choice. The location is north of the Forth of Firth, but still only a short drive to the airport - the value for money compared with hotels closer to the airport or the city centre is excellent.

I was leaving for a very early flight, and when I tried to leave the front door was locked and there was nobody around. There were no instructions on the front desk as to how to exit the property. I tried ringing the phone on the front desk, but nobody answered. I was starting to panic and fishing my key card back out of the check out box so that I could try and find an emergency exit before the night porter finally arrived to let me out of the hotel. I suggest that some information on the procedure for early check-out is both communicated in advance, and also displayed clearly on the reception desk to avoid other people getting a stressed out as I was getting!

Location was excellent for Rosyth cruise terminal. Staff were very helpful. Very comfortable beds. Lovely evening meal

Breakfast was self service for toast and drinks etc but we had nearly finished our cereal and toast when they came to take orders for a cooked breakfast. When we checked in around 3.15pm I asked about an evening meal but the receptionist told me the entrance was at the side of the building but did not tell me we had to book. When we went at 7pm they were fully booked but when I explained we were not told to book the did manage to find us a table.

We were visiting the area for a wedding and looking for somewhere reasonably priced just to sleep off the festivities and this hotel was perfect. Caroline on reception was 5 Star! She helped us so much and even organised our taxi - with her brother’s taxi - to get to the venue and back. The facilities reflect the reasonable price but it was super clean - which is a must for us. The en suite in the room was lovely decor and felt like new it was so clean. Bed very comfy - slept like a log!

The external isn’t very pretty - that being said the car parking is great 😁

The important thing with a Bed and Breakfast is the quality of the sleep and the goodness of the breakfast. Both 100 per cent. The room was warm and very quiet, and all the facilities worked well, so we had a good sleep. Breakfast was cooked to order, so you could choose some differences if you wanted vegetarian. It was not cooked at 06:00 and left in a hot cabinet. The choices were simple and honest, but there was plenty to eat, and you wouldn't go hungry. I chose the location (at Rosyth across the Firth of Forth) for convenience to the airport, and it is a quick drive (or taxi ride). There is a train station one kilometre distant, so easy connections to Edinburgh and beyond; also buses everywhere. We took a Scotrail train in to visit Edinburgh, and on another day drove to Park & Ride for Edinburgh (The Rosyth train was better). A large Tesco opposite the train station, and Take Away Food all along the road including close to the hotel. Everything we asked for was given to us by the staff. There is a large car park for free outside the hotel

At this price, value is very high, so no criticisms can be made.

Room was very clean and bed comfortable. Great value. Had everything you would need.

Loud music playing on arrival could be heard just as loud in bedroom as downstairs. Wasn’t concerned as enjoyed the music. Later when live music came on it was just a loud overbearing droning noise which couldn’t be muffled even with the tv on. As before, wouldn’t have minded if it was music but you couldn’t even make out the tune. Thankfully it went off at 12 pm.

The Hill Park hotel is at 20 min walk from Rosyth Railway Station, and Rosyth is 30 min far from Edinburgh downtown by train. That hotel is very convenient when visiting EDH. Moreover the restaurant is serving till 2100 (last order 2015) and the cook is good. The room is clear and clean, and the bed is good. Ultimately, the crew is very sympathetic and is speaking slower for non native speaker.

Nothing.

Breakfast was to be expected. Prompt and tasty. Tea, Coffee toast and cereals in an adjoining room but not a major issue. Attended a function which had a meal. Meal was lovely and staff efficient and friendly. All we could have wished for. Clean tidy room, not a big room but spacious enough for our needs.

The tea, coffee and toast in a separate adjoining room was a little inconvenient but not a major issue. Venue layout didn’t warrant it in the same room.

Very nice little family hotel with great staff. Will definitely use it again. Hi

My wife is a vegan and although they did say they would do a vegan breakfast. They did not really cater for vegans. She understood they are a little family hotel and probably can’t afford to cater properly for vegans yet. At least they are trying and it didn’t take away the experience of this lovely little hotel.

The room was adequate for 2 adults, the staff were all polite and helpful, it was central to the areas we wanted to visit i.e. Glasgow / Edinburgh , a big plus was that Breakfast was included, we enjoyed our stay there. We found the bed and pillows were very soft and comfortable.

Nothing really, but the fire doors, and room doors , were left to slam, by some of the residence , and when your rooms are all close together, it can be annoying .

They have the most comfortable beds! This wasn't my 1st stay and i will stay again. Nice spacious room.

I didn't have the breakfast. It was OK for continental but I prefer something hot and would have liked that option. There was the option of toast but it was taking ages in the machine and there were a lot of people hanging about waiting.
