Riverside Cottage, Shefford0

The property was spotlessly clean. The hosts were warm, welcoming and extremely accommodating. Lisa and Nick went the extra mile to ensure that my stay was comfortable and that I had everything I needed. Shefford is a beautiful town and the location of the accommodation is ideally situated, everything is within walking distance. I can’t praise the hosts and their home enough and suffice I will be returning.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The hosts were lovely and we felt very much looked after. Everything was spotless. We stayed two nights and the room was being tidied up when we'd left. Some people might not like this, but I was very thankful for it when we got back from a wedding and I was painfully aware of the mess we'd left (make-up, clothes and all the loose bits from getting ready). I was incredibly surprised and so so grateful when I got to the room and the bed was free of everything, things had been moved into my suitcase and into the bathroom. It was very thoughtful of the host to do that. The breakfast was ready in time and everything was thoughtfully laid out in the kitchen for us to enjoy.

The space was fairly small and the bathroom isn't ensuite. With it being inside of a house with the hosts in the room right nextdoor, it felt a bit awkward because we were very careful not to disturb them, which may not have been necessary but we felt being respectful was the least we could do which felt a bit tense, no fault of the hosts, this is simply something to be aware of but some people may not be bothered.

Great location to where we were working Bed was super comfy Facilities were great, hair dryer, toiletry pack, bottles of water, fresh towels. Hosts were fantastic, really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Gave great advice on the surrounding area places to eat etc. Quiet location. Tv in room Parking spot was easy to access Wifi was great Big bathroom with a lovely shower, very clean and tidy. Homely feeling

The location was excellent for our needs. The bed comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed a lovely continental breakfast and Lisa, our host, couldn’t have been more helpful. There we’re lots of little touches which contributed to making our stay very pleasant indeed. we would definitely recommend Riverside Cottage.

Good breakfast. Comfy bedding & bathroom provisions. Good quality furnishings and bedding etc. Overall modern and comfortable.

Room was very small, so no room for bags and while we knew the bed would be standard double it's a bit too small for us. Liked the host who was helpful and friendly.

Lisa and Nick are lovely, the cottage is a fab location, short riverside walk to a choice of lovely eateries and the hosts are so very welcoming. Easy parking and a short drive from Bedford, Hitchin and Biggleswade, easy access to a lot of beautiful countryside

Was fine

Nick and Lisa were the best hosts and made us feel really welcome. The house is in a lovely location and the room extremely clean and comfortable (even on a hot night). Breakfast was amazing. Lots of lovely little touches that made it much more than just a couple of nights in a room. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Everything was great, could not fault it.

Nick and Lisa are the loveliest people you could possibly meet. They are exceptional hosts who go above and beyond for their guests, and we were welcomed as soon as we arrived. The breakfast was stunning and their home is immaculately clean. We highly recommend this place to everyone, and we will definitely be staying again.

Everything - outstanding b&b. Lisa & Nick are so caring, fun & welcoming - they treated me like family. They are just lovely hosts and they go to great lengths to look after their guests. I loved staying at Riverside Cottage.

A beautiful modern home from home in a lovely town with plenty of amenities. Nick and Lisa are friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome. We were visiting family for my birthday and Lisa gave me a bouquet of beautiful roses on the day which was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. We would certainly stay again.
