Absolutely loved our stay at your hotel thank you so much! 🫶 Very welcoming and a beautiful hotel. Absolutely loved the decor, one of the reasons I booked with you. The place was immaculate and loved all the little extras we got in the bathroom and in the room. The bath and shower was divine and the beds was so comfortable, had the best couple of nights sleep I've had in ages! The location is lovely and veiw from our room was to 🥰. Didn't hear any of the other guests or noise from our room. The staff was brilliant and seen to all of our needs and went out of their way for us. I will definitely be coming back again soon! Thank you for a fab couple of days, it was just what I needed ❤️. Would definitely recommend you!

Gorgeous bedroom which has been beautifully decorated, friendly service, tea, coffee and biscuits in room, very comfortable bed, everything you need (e.g. iron and ironing board, shower gel and shampoo etc). Tasty breakfast from their restaurant brunch menu including options like full English breakfast and pancakes.

Very slight smell of drains in some parts of restaurant in the morning. Slightly slow service at breakfast, we were waiting at the table for a good 15 mins before our order was taken. But overall the breakfast was very good and the rooms were amazing, so definitely made up for it!

The room that i had was nr 3 with lovely view of the river and bath inside the room. VERY HELPFUL bar staff welcomed me in very friendly and chilled way which I really like it. Even that furniture and and design looks very old fashioned the quality the room was CLEAN to standard of a 5 STAR HOTEL tel. Water and refreshment was waiting for us which was very nice for that small price of accommodation. I loved also the size of bathroom which was very spacious and fact that breakfast was included, about I totally forgot but menager and bar crew inform me about.

Only one small thing that I can complain was the sound when you open the tap from bathroom but i guees maybe it was just too keep us feel like in victorian era.

Lovely location with the room looking right over the river. The decor was in the downstairs restaurant and the rooms upstairs was tasteful and fun. I had everything I needed in the room, including tea, coffee, and bottles of water, as well as a decent desk for working. Check in was simple and I ate dinner in the restaurant downstairs, which had lots of options for many dietary requirements, all clearly marked. It was a little warm but there was a fan in the room, which worked nicely.

The wi-fi wasn't strong enough to cover the whole room and only worked in certain spots. This wouldn't have been an issue but I was visiting for work, so had a bit of trouble there. I would definitely stay again as the pros outweigh this one con!

I am from Bedford originally and decided to come back to visit for the night. The room was superb and really well decorated with a fantastic old bath in the middle. Bed was so comfortable and noise insulation was spot on (remember England has just been knocked out of WC) Loved it!!

Silly really.... selection of tea was wide and varied in the room, but no standard English breakfast. One sachet of decaf coffee and 4 small plastic pots of milk (one was empty so three) Only other thing was the step on to the landing from the stairs, light on auto and lights up a little too late which caught me out a few times as i missed the step and flailed around like a frog in a blender to try and catch my balance. made my partner laugh so not all bad I suppose.

Location, by the river, handy for town centre. Excellent staff. Food and rink available in the cafe bar downstairs.

Wifi. never got moire than two bars, often just one bar. Big problems streaming, or even looking stuff up online. Turmns out my room was at the except opposite end of the building from the router. I suggest moving the router. I spoke with staff who wanted to help but were unable to dow anything that worked. This mattered to me as I always select fro places with full wifi in the room.

The room was larger than most rooms at this sort of price, and very comfortable. It's decorated and fitted in a style which is probably modelled on the 1920s, but with the comforts and standards you'd expect of the 2020s. The bed is large and comfortable, the furnishings solid and dependable, and the en-suite sizeable with a full rain shower. There was no noise at all from other rooms, the corridor, or the cafe/bar below. The whole building is fairly old and very solid - no thin walls here! The welcome was friendly and helpful, and all the staff we met (the rooms are above around a busy cafe/bar so there are different staff around at different times, and several of them) were equally friendly and pleasant to deal with.

The only thing I can think of is that the bedside lights were perhaps a little dim for perfect comfort when reading in bed. It looks as though lights over each side of the bed have been replaced with a shaded bedside light, probably more in keeping with the style of the room, but needing a stronger bulb for the same effect. But that's a minor point.

Wonderful stay, nice and comfy rooms . and the rolms are really huge . big antique design rooms. Even the washrooms are also bit far from the room giving a walk way in middle of the room. The room offers a river view as well and everything is so perfect. Go for this one you will love it

parking, there is mo parking bit you can find paid parking nearby(riverside parking) I even booked the property with out noticing there was non-parking but it can be managed.

The room was exceptional! We loved the luxury touches, such as the cafetiere and quality tea and coffee. When we needed additional bottles of water this was supplied quickly . I have a mobility scooter and this was found a safe place to store without any fuss. The only issue is that we arrived early, there was no where to store our bag until the room was available. This would have been so useful as we had to drag it round with us for 5 hours

Absolutely stunning rooms, beautifully decorated. Spotlessly clean. The location is fab and we had a view of the river from our room. Really friendly staff. Breakfast being included was such a bonus, the vegan breakfast was delicious.

Our room was very hot (heatwave!) and there was no aircon. We did ask if there were any fans but don't think any were available. We struggled to sleep based on this but not a major issue.
