The beds are probably the most comfortable I have slept in, in a very long time The breakfast was delicious especially the sausage. When you arrive its an outbuilding, but thats great as its so quite there, I got 11 hours of sleep - the room I was in (1) was BIG - the only thing missing was a table to sit at to use the computer but that was okay as i had a table and chairs outside my room. They give you a ton of Coffee / Tea and 2 bottles of water which was a nice touch. The fresh coffee in the morning was very very smooth, had a kick and was great.

This pub deserves an excellent rating because the staff were extremely welcoming. We only had breakfast there which was beautifully cooked, generous amount and served hot. The beds were really comfortable and the room was warm on a cold rainy night. Bedroom and bathroom were both spacious. Bedrooms had a good supply of tea and coffee, water and biscuits. This is not a 5 star establishment, but a good local pub with no frills that likes to look after its guests. Great value for money.

great place to stay, has rooms at the back which are away from the road and pub, it was very quiet. has a large garden even a kids play area. the rooms were spacious and clean, and had table and chairs outside to sit and enjoy the evening sun. the food was lovely, especially their pizzas, breakfast had a good choice and very tasty. there was plenty of parking and right next to the room so really handy. and they allow dogs and make you feel very relaxed having them there. all the staff were really friendly and welcoming. I will be back again soon.

the water didn’t go very hot, but it was the hottest weekend so far so we managed with the temp. good pressure coming out though.

Check in was easy although I had to fill out a form. I thought the property would already have the details from Booking.com. Plenty of free parking in the pub car park. Room was in a separate building so was nice and peaceful. Exactly as per description. Comfy bed and everything worked fine. Cups and glasses were all wrapped so I'm guessing were clean and 'safe'. Room and bathroom were both big enough. Delicious breakfast with a choice of hot or cold menu. Friendly staff.

Nothing. It was exactly as expected and ideal for me visiting friends nearby. I didn't get chance to enjoy the pub and evening menu but looked like a cosy place.

We could choose what either of us would like for our full English also drinks. Staff were always pleasant and would do anything for us to help in any way. The choice for other meals for eg. was very good and was excellently cooked. The room had everything we needed was clean and comfortable and if we needed anything all we had to do was ask we were told. We Had a very pleasant stay and would certainly go back again.

I had dinner in the dining room which was very nicely laid out, although I was on my own had a table which looked out on to the outside gardens. I could walk through the garden to my cabin room which was at the end of it.

I had trouble getting the hot water to work in the shower but for one morning a cold shower woke me up.

We were surprised that we were not staying in the pub but in the cabins behind, which were a delight. So nice to spend the evening sitting outside of the accommodation at a table and chairs. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. will visit again if we find ourselves in that direction.

No food was served the day we arrived, so it was the local chip shop. its good to find out which night they are serving food at the pub.

Staff very attentive and welcoming. Vegan breakfast and lunch was spot on They had 2 great dogs, a little F Bulldog and a 65K monster dog. Was very good experience all round

Only putting anything in this box because you asked me Our stay was 99% perfect For a fat lump like me I found the mattress a bit soft., but what can you do ?......loose weight I guess or carry around a firm mattress .

The staff and owners were very welcoming and friendly. Great facilities and good value for money. Having spare pillows in the room is a great touch, as I did not realise I needed spare until bed time by which time everything was closed but found spares in the wardrobe.

Nothing unliked just a personal thing for myself bit too much grease in breakfast otherwise very nice and again value for money.

Room clean comfortable very good, breakfast first class, if you go on a Monday the kitchen is closed we could not find anywhere to eat we had to go to Sainsburys to get sandwiches but we got some drinks, plates knife and forks from the bar.

Because the kitchen was closed on Mondays we could not find anywhere to get hot food all closed, we should have checked before hand.
